I think this course was once a decent place. Now it’s just dirt with wild grass here and there, lots of pot holes, no sand in traps only rocks and hard dirt, slow play is a problem as a whole but they shouldn’t allow 5 n 6 in a group. Even as a public course this place gets 2 thumbs down. And only place I know that charges a fee for key deposit without telling golfer.Never gonna play here again.

Couldnt remember why my friends and I stopped playing there, so we returned this weekend. Bad fairways, spotty greens, the whole course looks like they just gave up! How is this place so poorly maintained?!?! Then throw in a 5+ hour round with no marshalls in sight, a pro shop guy with a mask around his neck, no sanitizing of the golf carts, and not even soap in the restrooms.... Its the definition of a poorly managed golf course!

My daughter takes lessons there and really likes it. Ive eaten there a couple of times and the food is pretty good too. Had the southwest chicken cobb today and was really satisfied.

Great public course. Not the best to walk due to some long transitions between holes. They have a great restaurant and great practice facilities.

This was my first time playing the course, but was joined by a person who used to play there frequently. He said the course used to well maintained and was a joy to play. Not any more. The fairways were comprised of either sparse 1 long grass or bare dirt. This would be a great place to play if you want to work on your bare ground/hardpan game. I would estimate that about 20% of the fairways were bare dirt and the turf is very spotty in its coverage. The greens are riddled with un-repaired ball marks making it almost impossible to have a path the cup that wont be deflected by the voids in the putting surface. They do have a nice chipping area and putting green. The driving range is an area of many undulations so you could not see where your ball lands on the vast majority of shots.This makes it very difficult to determine your club distances if you typically play at a different elevation. I wont be returning and I obviously was not pleased with the fee I did pay to play at such a poorly maintained facility.

Great fun course. A little too wet for 7:30 am tee time but I get it as it is summer time and Im sure its nice for later tee times.Great food options.

First time golfing there. Lots of dirt on the fairways and around the green. Once you get on the green they are nice. Muddy due to the lack of grass in some areas. Course has alot of potential but needs some luv. Im aware of the challenges of keeping the course nice during a drought and covid-19 so Ill try again next spring

Swung by on a Friday night to hit a bucket of balls. Was nice to see a pretty full parking lot at 8pm. The sports bar was jumping with a light string lit patio and music playing. This was not my first visit to Woodcreek GC, each time Ive patronized this course Ive always been meet with very polite and professional service. For instance, when I got to the driving range the ball machine had run out of balls. After a short phone conversation with the proshop someone was there to fix the issue and apologized for the inconvenience. I love playing and practicing at this facility.

Went there to have breakfast and Mimosas in remberance of mom. She like to go their. They accommodated our large family. Thks.

Fairways were none dry in spots. I get it- its summer in NorCal. Sand was hard packed. Greens were really nice. Tee-boxes were in good shape. I had an enjoyable round in July 2020. Id go back, but there are so many geese and the things that go along with them, its not going to be my first choice. The geese bombed my golf bag- what a mess!

I played this morning in our regular foursome with a 7:50 tee time..our handicaps vary from 10 to 16...The course was in great shape and the pace of play was very good. We never waited on the group ahead of us and the group behind us never had to wait. (Just at 4:00 hrs for the round). We do plan on playing here again in the near future. It was our 2nd outing here and we need to have our Rubber Match

Im not much of a golfer but it doesnt matter because there is usually a mixed crowd of customers.Most are there for the multiple amount of TVs. I was there on a college football Saturday and every television had a different game.Many beer and drink specials.I had the house burger that was cooked perfectly.

Went for a family brunch, 5 adults, 5 children. The food was delicious as always, service considering Covid-19 was good, the server was polite and friendly. We sat outside and talked before and after the meal. Great time

Course is a wet muddy mess. No reason for that much water. The course needs to have a Marshall on course to keep players on pace and make sure they act correctly for a course, .not playing without a shirt on and swearing to much.

Fairways are in bad shape. Many of the greens with so many scars from unprepared ball marks the it is very difficult to putt. Tee boxed often not mowed. Much of the course is over watered. It is a mess.

Nice to golf again. 18 holes in 4 hrs. Yay

Course is in horrible condition for the prices being charge. Fairways are burnt out and overwatered creating muddy conditions. Used to be a decent course years ago, its sad to see it being run into the dirt. The city could use the land for better use (homes) if woodcreek gc and the city cant step up and take care of this big problem.

The course is in terrible shape right now and they don’t worn you when you book. Giant dirt patches all over the course, over watering, and areas of over grow grass and mud. I won’t be back.

Course is well kept, I will golf here again.

Legends is a great spot to catch a game and have some of the best bar food in town. Wings and garlic fries are really good and service is always on point

Taking golf lessons from Dean Greene. He is patient and overall a great instructor. Also enjoy the wait staff and happy hour at the Legends Grill. Nice outdoor dining.

Good breakfast and service with a smile. Try the Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich. The only negative is no blinds to block some of the early morning sunshine hitting your eyes.

Delicious bloody Marys! It was a beautiful day on the patio. They had live music. We really enjoyed our time there!

Went here for movie night and it was a great place.

Great venue for Free Movies in the Park, plus Food Trucks! The line for food is worth the wait!

Driving on pleasant grove Blvd Friday after work and BAM!! Ball slams into the truck bending the aluminium ladder rack and dents the roof of the cab of the truck. So I call the golf shop and they take my name and # and run out to the 7 hole to find out who it was. And never called me back. So I show up Monday after work and I get to speak to the HDIC. He tells me Im out of luck. None of the golfers admitted to it and says its not the courses responsibility and sends me on my way. Thanks for taking 2 min to tell me to get lost.

This course used to be alot of fun to play at a reasonable price. Sorry to say over the last couple of years course quality has degraded.

Nice atmosphere, very nice putting and chipping greens. Driving range is open until 900pm which is perfect for when its hot in Sacramento.

Pro shop personnel are always helpful and courteous.

Went to the food truck cinema and had a great time

The layout of the course is great, but the conditions ofthe course are not so great. Probably will not play it again.

The Food Truck Cinema event was well organized and a great way to spend an evening. It was unusually cool, with a cold wind blowing, so I would advise bringing a warm blanket and sweatshirts, just in case. The live music before the movie was extremely loud- should be toned down some to allow conversation.

Fairways and greens were in good shape, but bunkers were like hard clay. Need some sand!

Good food, but still very poor table service. Sat down and waited 15 minutes, watched waitress pass me 3 time and never stop. Had to order drink and sandwich myself at the counter. This is not unusual for here though.

Went here to watch the last weekend of football! Was packed, but great environment! Good food and cheap beers.

Great venue. Outdoor movies with food trucks! Princess Bride is a classic. Family and pet friendly. Also offering wine and drinks, if you like. No bugs! Recommend to all. Friendly staff. Non membership golf club with bar and cafe. Easy parking. Would be good venue for company party or wedding reception

Greens and course in great shape. Day I went the greens were lightning fast and next to perfect! Tired of all the idiots not fixing ball marks on the greens though. Fixed about 5 per hole... Fun day and nice people in pro shop and on course.

Good value for golf course. I think it could be taken care of better but might be dealing with budget constraints.Good variety of holes that challenge you to think through your shots.

Nice club but their events are horrible. Way to many people & they dont know how to disperse everyone in a manageable way. My kids have almost been trample twice there. Golf is good though so stay on the course & youll have a great time.

The course was great. Reasonably dry after big rains. Play was a little slow.

The happy hour was ok. The staff was nice but not very good as far as getting the orders correct or refilling your drinks. The food was decent but not great. Getting the wait staff to come back to get more drinks was a difficult task to say the least. Yes, its happy hour, yes there are a fair amount of people but still.

Played from the long tee box and it made the course challenging. Nice municipal course and well maintained but the pace of play was relatively slow. Would definitely go back but I think Ill check for an online coupon or special next time. Twosome that I played with found a coupon online $50 for 2 with a cart...and it wasnt a twilight special or some gimmick. 6 out of 10

Need marshals to keep pace of play on track, bar staff awesome.

Not bad for a public course. Could do with a little less watering, not ideal for a course to be muddy during 90 degree heat.

Friendly staff, course in good shape and plays well for a weekend warrior like myself. It was an afternoon outing and they were low on carts so it was a bit of a walk to the driving range where they ran out of golf balls in the dispenser. Kinda skewed my experience but Ill still go back.

The Easter Egg Hunt that was suppose to start at 11:30 a.m.... They started early! Who does that? We brought 7 kids with us and the hunt was over before we even lined up after looking at booths. We walked to line up 10 min before and it was already finished. Kids were still walking in the gates. So many kids were upset. It was sad and worst feeling. We came all the way from Sparks, Nevada, my kids got all dressed up just to get disappointed. Worst egg hunt ever!

Course Marshall called us out for slow play. No one behind us complaining. He does it again on a drivable par 4. We told him players in front were still on the green. He said like anyone in your group can drive the green. When he was told one actually could I beleive he said yeah right . He then pulled over on the par 3 17th to observe us I suppose. 3 of us are fairly new to the game. We surely dont need harassment from the Marshall. I get he thought he was doing his job. Sure came across as someone on a power trip.
