Sunset was beautiful. Definitely if around during sunset you should go it is breath taking but sun drops quick. Have a picnic lunch and watch the sunset.

Great playground and park area, having a huge open grassy area for playing in or other activities in a good position on the road allowing easy entry and very noticeable from the road. It would have been a 5 star if only the bathroom was cleaned more regularly; the bathroom many times are a little dirty. Along with the water fountains behind it not working.

Would of been better if children were supervised. Bad language makes it hard to stay with young children its a shame.

This is a very safe spot and a perfect for small to medium size gatherings. You dont have to walk a mile with items from the parking lot to the Pavilion. Children can play safely in the nearby playground. There are ample grills spread out and a large area for team activities.

Great playground far from the road. Only issue is that when it rains there are huge puddles around the area for days and days.

Cute little park. Nice playground for the kids and a track for walking, jogging or running.

Quality public park in the Gates area. A sand box is on site as well as a walking/running track. Bathroom is available as well as a rental pavilion. Plenty of parking. Playground structures are a bit dated and there isn’t a dedicated area for toddlers.

Will never return to this park. Was at a function at this location, a neighbor kept complaining about the music, which wasnt loud enough to have been violating any ordinances, and there was constant harassment by Gates Police even though no citations were given, not even about the music.

A small, but feature-packed park in Gates. This park has couple of awesome play structures, a SANDBOX, eating area, open field, pavilion, barbecue. Really, this park has everything you need. It even has an actual bathroom, not a port-a-potty! Everything is well-maintained. This is great place to bring the fam!

Children love it, grandparents too, clean, has bathroom facilities, easy to keep track of the children, picnic area, very convenient, close to the kids so you can keep an eye on the little ones.

Excellent equipment and very safe for families with small children, with a huge fence enclosing three sides. Unfortunately there was a lot of litter and garbage all over when we visited - so much in fact, that I doubt they clean it very often.
