Easily the most beautiful Church in all Rochester NY. It should be on the LIST TO SEE in Rochester. Just blocks away from High Falls, this church stands out as a beacon of hope both indoors and out. There is a threat to close this jewel but I think that would be a travesty on many levels of which I can not explain on this brief review. Visit this Church if you can. I promise you will not regret it

120+ years of love and devotion. A beautiful historical site.

Wonderful gentle and caring faith community. I attend infrequently but always feel welcomed. Beautiful detail, soloist and organ music. Ample safe parking. You can sleep in and still make the 4pm Mass next Sunday!

Huge church. Loved it. We went for Christmas eve and it was beautiful.

Beautiful church.Went to school at St Michaels from 1960-1966.It did me so much good to search this church and see it still there just as glorious as I remember. I can visualize myself in the pew.

St Michael is a beautiful church, I attend the 11:30 Spanish Sunday Service. The choir is awesome, you feel it in your bones. Father Bob Worth tries his best to speak in Spanish. Father Mickey knows the the language. I love Father Tracey. He is the monarchy of this church, He been around before I was even born. He helped my parents when they came from Puerto Rico, because they did not speak English language and they moved to Rochester, NY which was a long time ago. He helped them get settle in. He is a caring person. I wish him a speedy recovery. They have Spanish deacons and parishioners that volunteer their time and keep up with the Hispanic tradition . They hold events to help with the cost of the church needs. I enjoy seeing the younger generation engaging in their faith and their children are learning too. They also offer English Mass at 4 pm, they also have exceptional staff and volunteers that are dedicated. Sometimes, the Eastman Theatre musicians perform during the holidays. Come and visit this awesome church.

Love St Michaels. My mom and I came on a whim over 15 years ago, not expecting to fall in love with the warmpth of the people and decided to make St. Michaels our church home. I have been the cantor at the 4pm mass for 15 years, and have to say that we welcome anyone, and you can feel at home in this beautiful place. Dont be shy, and if you have kids, dont worry if they arent quiet as church mice... we love having children at mass. StMichaels is part of one parish together with Annunciation on Norton, and Our Lady of the Americas on East Main, which was formerly Corpus Christi. In 2019, our priests are currently Father Bob Werth and Father Mickey McGrath. You can experience very passionate singing with the Spanish choir at the Spanish mas.at 11:45, or our world class organist at the 4pm English mass. :-) Come join us any Sunday!
