Very beautiful! We didnt know this place existed. We just saw the tower poking out from the hillside when driving by the mall and we were curious what it was. Its a little hard to find (just use Google maps) but its must see and take pictures if youre visiting Rochester! Gorgeous photo ops.

Such beautiful grounds and gardens open to public outdoor tours. Enjoy a stroll of the grounds, lower grounds require stairs. Incredible tour, with the walk down the lawn!

Beautiful place to walk around, peaceful and quiet. Took my 1 year old and he loved exploring the gardens! A few scattered benches if you wanted to bring a coffee or a book it would be perfect!

This is a beautiful historic building and grounds that is open to the public. Its nice to just stroll around the yard in the spring and summer and enjoy the many flowers planted there by parks and rec. Renting the building and grounds for private events is a nice option for the public despite its limited capacity.

It was such a beautiful and peaceful place to walk the gardens around the house and even though the house wasnt open that day, my friend and I still took in the beauty of the place. What a wonderful place to either have a picnic lunch or to sit on a bench and read or write. Theres also nice spots for prom/wedding photos too.

They have a restaurant im told, i just walked the grounds right after they closed, but people go here for wedding pictures, they have 2 fountains and more flowers than you can shake a stick at. Some old grounds, pretty cool, lots of steps, steps of stone, its all the way at the top up a big ole hill. I thought it was a groovy place, and i would still like to try the restaurant.

A beautiful place to walk with a friend or sit alone to relax in a beautiful quiet spot anytime. The grounds are gorgeous and free to roam. My sister rented the main floor inside for her wedding reception and it was so quaint and beautiful. Perfect 1800s feel for her tea and cake reception. My brother rented the ballroom floor years ago when it was rentable to ask his wife to marry him. He said it was something like the ballroom in Sound of Music.

Beautiful English Tudor mansion with impressive gardens and groves. The input of Dr. Plummer is so evident throughout the interior and if youre interested in Architectural history and Minnesotas famous Ellerby Company, this is a must see in addition to downtowns Plummer Building on the Mayo Clinic campus.
