An excellent and unique outdoor ice skating rink in the winter months, right in the heart of downtown Rochester. Complete with a nice little warming hut and skate rental shop. Needs a coffee / hot chocolate vendor inside.

Gorgeous architecture that recently had a fresh coat of chalkboard paint put on. Community clean ups could happen more often but its still a lovely space.

A cultural place that to me is iconic to Rochester, held many gathering people events. A positive place to be at or check out if youre new to Rochester or visiting the city.

Place is an absolutely beautiful spot to bring the kids and hang out in the summer. They have the museum of play right there also along with a foam playground and slides.

Very fun was a little rainy so ice was wet but fun..santas work shop was awsome as well.

Party on the park was good. Alot of people that i wish social distance was better..but great music and vibe

Love to go ice skating. But twice a year when the fountain is drained, its the best Skateboarding in the city, hands down.

I cant believe I have lived here nearly 20 years and never been here. Its a nice little place. No walls can be a bit scary for novices, but there are plenty of skate training chairs to use. Skates are reasonable to rent, but mine were really uncomfortable. Wear good socks. There is a parking fee as well. A good place to take the kids for a little winter fun.

Wonderful, it was a Blessing to see so many people of all races come together in unity. Great thing are ahead for all of us. Praise God

Really nice while they held the Christmas festivities over the Christmas holiday. Great use of the area. Plus weekend parking is a lot easier than during work week. Cannot wait for next holiday festival.

Celebrating occasional gatherings of historical sentiments, an array of cultural events can be often indulged throughout this landmark. Whereas despite the the offset disregard for social distancing during a pandemic, the structural space allows for a community can still come together here

Great fun skating (trying) and hot chocolate/playground time with kids and friends. It was FREE PEOPLE!! Skate rental and everything!! Well surely return!! You can even rent the entire place out for $200 I overheard someone inquiring about it. ️️️️️️

Its a beautifully transformed park compared to 10 years ago when it was just a strange place full of broken glass.

Went to the Roc Village Christmas Festival with my daughter. She found an incredible on street parking place. Definitely going again Christmas Season 2020!!

Great show. Too small of a venue for the amount of tickets they sold. Nearly impossible to move once inside. Poorly run entrance gate/ticket/security line. Two, two slowly moving lines to get in. Guy running the event said take it up with the city, not sorry we were not staffed for this event correctly. They have had GTLO perform before and it was packed then, 2 years ago. Got in line 10-5 minutes before GTLO started, then listened to the first 2.5 songs while in line. Keep in mind there was an opening act, so most people were inside already.

A beautiful park, small hills and trees ajoin the three main attractions the first being A memorial to the great man itself. second is A playground for children to play in, I have made many friends here :) the third is A wonderful set of fountains surrounded by benches and tables, very nice for A picnic. If you are visiting in the winter the fountains become A local skate rink, it is A place that has something for everyone.

We love being able to skate for free during certain times! the fee to skate at other times isnt bad at all though. The staff handing out the skates were very friendly.

Giant metal climby thing in the middle of a park? Cool. Dont climb if you have vertigo. Nothing too impressive here. Im sure its a bit nicer in the summer when the sprinklers are working.

It was a great time, I didnt kno they had party areas to rent.

Went to party in the park because we had won vip tickets, the actual park is beautiful, theres a fountain and playground for the kids to play in and you get to see all the city lights at night from the skyscrapers, i do wish they had more public bathrooms though.

Skating here is so much fun. Holiday village is amazing. Great job Rochester!!

They always have great local events here and in the winter there is free ice skating on the water fountain. Great place to hang with the family!

Summer time offers concerts and other special events, winter provides all who want the opportunity to ice skate and a very nice Christmas celebration.

NOT for small kids, more of a skate park? Says water on some parts, but there was no water. ? A couple slides through a complicated metal spiral staircase and bridge or a steep climbing wall. Thats about it.The pond part was cool, but not kid safe, looks like a wading pool, but you cant go in. Not very user friendly. I guess more for looking, or a walk. Nice fountains.

They have made this spot a nice focal point for downtown. Concerts winterfest and lets talk about the art work that was just done to give it a face lift. Looks amazing.

The holiday village around Christmas time with the free ice skating is an awesome winter activity for all ages.

Wegmans free winter ice skating was a blast, my family enjoyed themselves, the small bazaars are a great addition to the winter theme.

I love free or cheap music venues. U cant beat $7 admission for 3 bands! Had $5 beer too. Only thing not great was the bumpy hill we stood on to try n dance. Get there early 2 scope out possible free parking.

Nice walk and small forced water dam ya get to view, and on the way out play some music with stationed xylophones their.

I was crying by the time we got to the 1950s. Not that the earlier displays werent moving, but the recent things were so real to the world we still live in. I cant rightfully say I understand the pain, having lived a pretty priveledged life, but I can for the first time say I have seen a little bit of it. Its brought some light to my eyes.

Its such a beautiful place to sit and talk and theres a park right next to it so I think a lot of people can enjoy this place

First meaningful touchdown back in the after a longs day journey. We finally made it by the grace of God

We started a walk here with hope dealers of western new york. Every Easter weekend they do a walk to raise awareness for recovery. This park is right in the area of the museum of play so your right in the middle of Rochesters hub. The park is kept very clean and landscaped beautifuly.

I went to a concert down in the falls area. The show was decent but I feel that it shouldve been on the street level like Party In The Park. Therefore plenty of people to justify the closing of Court by MLK Park.
