Beautiful rose garden to visit when summer rolls around. Very easy to access and free. I would recommend not wearing sandals as you may be walking through the grass.

A nice little secret within the city limits. You get a nice open space, with lots of shade. Theres the historic lower falls and hiking trails. Late June through August the Rose Garden is on full bloom. Lots of parking available.

Beautiful place but some of the visitors are problem makers. This parks located very close to some drug houses so I recommend not using the bathrooms.

Lately been seeing a lot of needles from drug users laying all around. My kids like to go for walks through the flower garden but lately its been a lot of homeless people sleeping in the bushes, on the benches and making it an cautious environment as well as going down the trail. Its a beautiful place to go and relax your mind and look at the beautiful flowers

Sa

Review №42

There were used needles and needle caps on the playground. Most of the playground has been destroyed. It used to be such a nice park, (25 years ago when I was a kid), its hard to believe how bad it is now. We were there for about 5 minutes and obviously left. There was no way I was allowing my daughter to play there

It is a nice park with limited walking trails next to the Genesee River gorge. The Lower falls are amazing, but best viewed by walking into Driving Park bridge. Trails have historical markers allong it tell the history of the rivers development.

Home of the Rose And maintained by the City of Rochester there are many species to enjoy. A nice gazebo to sit in, and a trail taking you down into the Genesee River gorge. Not patrolled well, I have seen drug deals and sex in the parking lot. The gardens themselves need some major overhaul. Visit, but be vigilant.
