Artisanworks is a unique art gallery with different twist for its collection. Sculpture, painting, photos, cars, games and more. Each room is decorated in its own unique way. You will look and look and look some more only to keep seeing new things.I recommend taking the behind the scenes tour to see the impressions private car collection. Along with the huge storage rooms field with art for loan. Every single corner hallway and room has something to offer you. Its a must see destination in Rochester.

Really awesome eclectic art gallery, my daughter and I spent the afternoon here and did 3 laps around the place just so we didnt miss anything. In the warmer months there is more to see outside like Bourbon Street exhibit. We will return many times, if you need inspiration and like art and memorabilia this should be a stop on your list.

I really enjoyed visiting this place! We attended a party, held at artisan works and I really enjoyed the art and the setup! I am unaware of if this facility catered or if it was an outside source, however the food was amazing and the servers were absolutely delightful!!!!!!!!!

Dont skip this gem. Full of quirky, thought provoking and fun exhibits. You can spend hours upon hours here. While walking about remember to look in all directions, theres fun surprises above, below, in and around every corner. Worth seeing and worth seeing again, support local artists!

Heres a different kind of restaurant for u. Its kind of half museum/half food. To me. A lot of neat stuff. The food was good. A lot of vegan choices.

Not just a wedding venue. Very cool... Art gallery? Its more like someone decorated every inch of a building with weird art, and for like $12 you can go exploring. I heard they have good tours of some of the buildings on certain days, but I wasnt there on one of those days.While we were there, they were definitely setting up some sort of event, but we were able to just wander through all the same.

Such a beautiful and inspirational place for anyone appreciative of art. Its basically an art museum with delicious food, and great staff. A must visit.

I can’t sing Artisan Works’ praises enough! Our wedding was incredible and went off without a hitch. If anything did go wrong, we didn’t know about it! The food was delicious and plentiful, the staff was so friendly, our event coordinator, Iggy was calm and cool and handled our event so well. We hosted in the Casablanca room and it was stunning. Needed so little decor. So many photo spots and even quiet places to talk to family and friends. Everyone was wonderful to work with and very accommodating throughout the entire planning process. I would highly recommend Artisan Works to anyone planning a wedding and looking for a stunning venue.

Such an amazing venue! Had my wedding here and everything went so smoothly! ALL my guests enjoyed the environment and never had a moment to be bored due to all the artwork! All the staff here is extremely friendly and super helpful! The coordinator for the evening checked in on me all throughout the night and ensured everything went as planned! HlGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place is a great place to explore art in Rochester, NY and makes for a fun and interesting wedding venue. It can visually stimulate conversations all around a reception. Art begs a response and anyone visiting will have plenty of opportunity to voice their opinions. I did not hear one political comment all night. It was refreshing that people could converse more about life in the presence of art. What a great place to bring people together!

I went to a baby shower there. They did a great job, the food and service was great. I cant wait to go back and spend time checking out all the rest of the place!

Such a fun place! A huge maze of rooms overflowing with fascination from floor to ceiling. Art, history, science, architecture, all under one roof and made exciting. A must-see!

ARTISANworks feels like the Baltimore Museum of Visionary Art meets DC Mansion on O, with a Burning Man flair, sprinkled with the curious decor of your childhood piano teacher. Huge fan :) (Only downside: had to pop mints in my mouth to ward off the building’s musty smell, as strong smells nauseate me...)

What a magnificent venue for a party! My fiancee Kim and I experienced Artisan Works at a work Christmas Party in December 2019, and shortly after got engaged. We knew just what venue we wanted, and just booked the main room for September 2021!

Those OHara white females are from your area who PGH gave well paid jobs to BUT they heard of PTI/PTC and jumped the broom. When in all reality it was Pitt and IUP acting up. Each year for the last 2 years my job held their annual holiday party at this place. Being an antique dealer I really appreciate everything about this place little bit quirky eclectic I say but also tasteful nice rooms nice antiques some great artwork had fun would return again would like to visit it outside of the party.

My wife and I decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception here in 2013, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. The unique nature of the layout and decor made for an unforgettable experience. They have a few options based on the size of the event, and offer excellent catering options on-site. The event coordinators we had the pleasure to work with were very kind and helpful, from our first appointment all the way thru our wedding night. We saved plenty of money by buying our own alcohol and having them serve it, and the cost to reserve this place is surprisingly inexpensive compared to other wedding venues we explored. We still get comments from friends and family about how much they enjoyed our wedding and reception. Id recommend this location to anyone, from weddings to office parties. A truly unique venue in Rochester, that supports local artists.You can visit anytime to see the art on display, so no need to wait for an event to enjoy the experience.

Artisan Works is the best, most unique venue you can find! The staff is the best around. We had our wedding here last month and start to finish everything was perfection- we have received many compliments on the venue, food and staff. I can’t say enough good things about this place and am beyond happy with our experience!

Weve been up to Rochester way more times than I can count, but finally without the kids we could explore. The art was beautiful from all different places and time periods. I especially loved the retro room because Im intrigued by that time period. They were setting up for a wedding and it was amazing to see how much people that place holds!

If found objects and kitsch is your thing then youll be in absolute heaven. This was an incredibly painful way to burn 2 hours - this place is laden(not curated) with old old smelly junk. There were a couple interesting things here but not a single one worth making the journey for on its own. Its just a matter of time before a fire breaks out in this tinder pile of oddity. I cannot understand why Rochesterians think this is so cool - Id rather go to the Museum of Play and see the stick and the ball.

Saw the new additions of Bourbon Street and their version of Sams Americana Club from the hit motion picture Casablanca, both were wedding or party venues and I would highly recommend both settings.

I loved visiting here, themed rooms tied everything nicely and made viewing a pleasure. Those we spoke to were interesting and great tour guides.

This place has so much to look at! We were there for a private party so not sure how their normal food ordering is. Our food was very good. Its a great place for a private event!

This is more than an art gallery. It is a unique space that cannot be described in words. It is overwhelming, the amount of pieces and the way they are displayed is artistic. This place is phenomenal!

This is a GREAT place to host a party or event. The coordinators do a fantastic job. Madelines Catering is superb. The event space is interesting and engaging. I would do it again without hesitation.

We had our Isaiah house fundraiser last Sunday. It was fantastic and the staff were wonderful! Everyone and everything was lovely and the brunch was delicious and drinks were great. Thank you all and God bless you

This is the most unique gallery/museum/loving tribute to every art genre in Rochester, and I dare say, the northeast. Louis has poured his heart and soul into this amazing place and it shows. Plan to spend a full day (or more!) here.

One of they most unique places in Rochester! Tons of cool stuff to look at from motorcycles to photography, from oil paintings to welded sculptures. Our tour guide was great, and the food was amazing.

I actually visited Joe Bean Coffee and Roastery.

Why is this a wedding venue? The seating is terrible for viewing a wedding. Its very cramped. Their food was just Wegmans brand items. The overall layout is not ideal for a wedding. The bathrooms are teeny and I am not a large person. No where to change a baby either.

This is a most amazing place, tons of artwork from various artists as well as unique memorabilia such as antique automobiles and pinball machines. The way its set up makes it fun to wander and get lost in the displays. Great place for a date or something to do on a lazy afternoon. At $12 for a ticket its worth every penny. You cannot see the whole place in one visit. Highly recommended!

Went to a wedding there I thought the place was very cool I would definitely recommend it to somebody else

It was a place to feel the times. Especially the Kodak section remains in my memory. It must be a place for the children to like.

I enjoyed our tour through the museum. Was so disappointed that we missed the Casablanca tour of Ricks Cafe. I will say that my favorite room was the Frank Lloyd Wright room but have to point out that I found some of the displays exploited women and portrayed them as sex slaves or in some form of bobdage. Overall it was a good experience. So much to see and you really cant do it justice with a quick walk through.

I love ARTISANworks as an event venue! They serve great food, their Staff is helpful, and they have a very eclectic ambiance that appears to be ever-changing.There is plenty of parking, and the venue is a decent size as well. Ive attended numerous events here, all enjoyable!

Absolutely beautiful, the amount of art is staggering. Its a great place to spend a day, and I think it has something interesting for everyone. I took loads of pictures, but it would be better if you went yourself. :)

Andy was there to greet us at the door so we didnt have to hunt anyone down for directions. Its a pretty big place and the owner was easy to work with over the phone. Its a great spot for any occasion and they even have room for a live band.

Every city needs an Artisan Works. Art overload. So much beauty stuffed into a warehouse full of seemingly-endless themed rooms. What an amazing place to check out while visiting rainy Rochester. Very personable people work there. Prepare to spend hours getting lost in the place. Truly a unique experience not to be missed if you are visiting. Personal photography allowed.
