Great spot for a easy hike, run, or bike. You can also park here for access to the greenway.
Quiet and peaceful. The trails are not well maintained, trees down, full on bog in some places. The trails go away completely here and there, leaving you to find your own path to the next marker, sometimes following a deer path that goes in roughly the right direction. Definitely not beginner trails.
Trail needs maintenance, especially the grassy areas. Bushwhacking through tall grass in an area with ticks isnt my idea of hiking.
No maintenance on this trail. DO NOT TRY TO FOLLOW THE LOOP OF THE TRAIL. Google shows a dotted line for the trail but DO NOT try to follow it. We tried to do the loop and it disappeared a quarter of the way through. Google showed us as standing on the dotted line of the trail but there was nothing but grass, not even a deer trail. We got very lost and had trouble getting out due to the bramble and poison ivy.
Great for wildlife.photos.bring bug spray
Great as a parking area for the Genesse Valley Greenway or for some more natural adventuring. Brookdale is basically untouched by man with the exception of a few sparse trails. Make sure you bring boots though, they dont call it a wetland for nothing! ;)
Very nice natural park. Good trails and some nice interpretive signs.
Trails are not marked very well. Tons of orickera and very wet
I love to walk back here. Not many trails but its very peaceful.
Love this place.
