It is a nice park not gonna lie. But parking is very difficult to find. I parked at near the entrance where their were NO signs saying I cant park there and after about 15 min later I came back to see a ticket on my car. Kinda ruined the rest of my day. There should be some sort of indication for where I should park. Other than that the park was very nice and going through the tunnel is very pretty.
If your looking for a nice low impact hike this place is incredible and surprisingly the trail is a few miles! Love taking my pup here. Due to current events we parked across the high-way in a parking lot(3/4 min walk). We could easily walk along the grass to get to the trail since at that time no parking was allowed. Highly recommend.
Wow! I just love this park. While parking is a bit of a struggle, it is worth the bother. Enjoy the falls, nice walk along the creek, find sings for trails and enjoy the nature. Some trails connect to others and take you for a longer walk... just make sure you allow enough day light for a walk. As you take a walk, take quick breaks on benches and maybe even a picnic table. Definitely bring your camera or a fully charged cell phone.
A place with a very rich history. From farming to partying, train destination, to natural land infested with invasive plants. Beautiful falls and train tunnel
I was pleasantly please at how the trails were so easy and I loved the waterfalls the leaves were so pretty this will be one of my favorites
This is a great place to go on a quick hike, or a long stroll. Every season theres something new to see. Its a popular spot for families and dog watchers. Theres two entrances, one with more parking off Penfield Road and one off Glen Road. The one off Glen is closer to the falls and picturesque tunnel, but theres much less parking. I went to the one off Penfield Road a good half dozen times before I realized the other one was there, or that there were more trails near the water, so make sure you explore everything.
Great trail! Easy to navigate. Thought I got lost but theres enough loops to get you back. Notable that its big enough to feeeel you got lost.
Great view. Walked my dog but there were fences so she couldnt get in the water to cool off. She also tried to jump a fence and got hurt. So just beware if your dog has a tenancy to try and jump fences be careful.
Nice trails, there are some steep areas where you need to be careful, but very well marked and picturesque
Super cute little walk but you go behind alot of houses and private property.
Very residential, also felt like more of a tourist attraction rather than a real nature park. One of the entrances was temporarily blocked off and the other had some oddities as well including poor signage leading to the actual park entrances in terms of where exactly to go/park. Overall it was a fairly peaceful park. Strange that theres a property in the center of it.
Such a quaint little area. Enjoyed the easy trails. Perfect for families.
I lived in the Rochester area for 30 years and never knew that this trail existed. My father told me about it- we took my 8 year old and two dogs. It was a great trail. Not too intense- just pleasent. I was so happy to learn that this trail was an old fur trading trail used by the French and Iroquois dating back to 1615 (I believe). So cool!
Great Trails. Not too strenuous. The water is awesome! Great place for the family or a solo excursion.
Family friends. For little ones and furry ones. Easy trails with nature all around. Beautiful.
Another Nice little walkabout. Use all the trails. They all come back to entrance.
Decent hiking trail with a nice waterfall and stream, but the best reason to go (having the kids explore in the stream) is prohibited. We have also consistently seen dogs off leashes on the trail.
This was a pretty cool place, nice retreat I never knew existed.
Went hiking with some friends and my boys. Beautiful scenery and well marked trails occupy this park. There are a couple parking areas and you can also wade into the water in the creek. Enjoy hearing the trains passing by and the wildlife as you may see deer and other things. Crayfish and minnows are in the creek. Enjoy your hidden oasis in the woods!
I love walking on trails and nature its a wonderful walk though the woods to the falls which are absolutely beautiful
Fun little hike, nothing amazing but worth the visit if you want to go for a quick walk.
Great park for walks with the family. Unique aesthetic with the stream and the railroad.
Nice hike, cool space on a hot day. Everyone was respectful and had masks. Its worth the visit!!!
The falls were pretty. Do not follow your GPS to get to the falls though. Take 441 to Glen Rd. When you turn onto Glen Rd. the street forks, go left. There are signs along the road shortly after you turn indicating approved parking areas. After parking keep following the road to the bridge. Go under the bridge and youll see the first set of falls and the path leading to the Postcard Falls. If you like walking and dont mind some steep hills, you can go to the trail on the right (when you are facing the first set of falls, to the left if facing the house by the falls). That path will take you back to the main entrance of Corbetts Glen Nature Park off of Penfield Rd. The bugs are plentiful though so bring some sort of repellent if youre going on the trail.
This is nice place if you want a serene and quiet place for taking a walk or running. The falls are located by the tunnel entrance, not the main entrance. Paths are nicely paved. Parking can be limited. I would say it is best to come in the early morning or evening.
Fantastic variety of walking trails. Beautiful trees and plants.
Very quiet. Nice trails to walk. Great place to take walks and also selfies hahahaha
Love it here, its our new favorite spot!
Majestic sights to see. And you might be able to get up close to a deer.(not enough to touch or frighten.) We encountered a doe with no fear of humans. Not a great thing for nature I know. But it couldnt be helped.
The park itself is great but where tf do I park
Aside from them roping off certain areas to protect the natural wildness, this place is great. I bring the family several times a year and its always a good relaxing fun time.
Cool park/trail. Great for walking and running/jogging
A nice little peace of nature
Such a beautiful place. A hidden gem!
Nice trails, not very long but enough to get a decent walk in. Parking is road side only, which is a bummer. The little waterfalls are cute though!
Its so pretty and relaxing here!
Always a great free yourself hike
So, I have a special place in my heart for the Glen; its where I caught my first trout on a fly. As an avid fly fisher, I think this is one of the greatest spots in the are to fish. I have fished the park now for a few years and have fished the stretch of Allen creek from Penfield to the park and it is a great stretch of water offering some really exciting fishing. That being said, Im dissapointed with what the town has done with the park. She I first started going there, it was like stepping back in time and into a landscape painting with the sound of the passing freight train echoing in the distance, or right over your head; depending on where you were in the park. Now the fences are up, and I was just there a few days ago and they have added more fences and blocked more stream side access. And, this doesnt just affect the fishermen, I know many photographers who are upset about losing access to the prime spots to take a few pics of the waterfalls which are really spectacular in the right light. We love the Glen, it was our first hiking spot for our kids, all 5 of them have enjoyed the loop as well as wading and fishing in the pools beneath the falls. I will give the park itself 4 out of five, it can get very crowded and there is minimal parking, but I gave a rating of 3 due to the fact that they just keep adding fences. I know it is a conservative effort, but places like this were intended to be enjoyed.
Fun quick hike in a beautiful lush forested glen with waterfalls
Buggy, but an easy hike. They put up rails in sections near the stream to keep people out of the stream.
I had a great time at Corbetts Glen Nature Park with my girlfriend today. It was worth to take a walk through the forest to find the beautiful waterfall.
Very pretty to see the littel waterfalls
Moderate, urban, unpaved trail through the woods with a small waterfall amidst a stream. Definitely need hikers or boots at this time of year. Full trail experience will lead you up and down hills. Just did trail with our three and four year old that hiked entire trail.
Had a great hike there.
The park is just OK. The falls are nice. The trails are too man made and lack the rustic nature I expect for a park. The black tarp used to keep weeds from growing through the paths I too visible and less nature like. The falls are nice, very minimal, but worth the walk to get there. I have seen better and worse parks.
Minus some up hill stuff was nice walk
Bit of a hike to the water but pretty
This park is just a short walk from my home and it is a perfect way to enjoy the beauty of all the seasons in Rochester N.Y. I prefer to walk in, because the parking lot is quite small and fills up quickly during peak times. It is also a great place to walk your dog.
Pretty, quiet place. Good area for dogs or humans
An absolute gem. Its small but not too small. Great for exploring and hiking. There is a bench to enjoy food and relaxation. Great waterfalls to take in and also for pictures. Ill definitely be coming back to explore more. Also it is kid friendly.
I enjoyed this park very much. There were plenty of wildlife. It was very peaceful and there is a mini waterfall at the end with a big tunnel.
Not enough parking. And the other entrance on glen rd had temporary no parking by order of police signs. Very dissapointing
Nice easy walk in a pretty park.
Very nice. Exactly as pictured
This used to be an awesome park, but some overzealous townie regulator is trying to turn it into a snapshot rather than a park for patrons to use. Fenced off public creek. No more fishing or letting the kids wade in the water. Bicycles are now deemed engines of the park. Someone buy this regulator a Prius and point them out west.
Beautiful walk
Beautiful place year around!! Had my engagement photos taken here!
This park has a special place in my heart. So glad for this magical place to be so close.
It is gorgeous here. There are two places to park. A bit away from one another. One seems to be a parking lot (judging by what the signs said.) Then another (where I parked) was down this dead end road with a few houses. The road had signs telling you where parking for the falls started and stopped. Then you walk down and you will see a tunnel. You can follow the path to the falls. There are many small ones and a bigger one. It is kid friendly, and stroller friendly. Definitely a unique and beautiful get away right in Rochester!
Nice country walk feeling
Lovely views, mostly flat trails.
Me and my family have frequented Corbetts park for years now and we love it, its a bit more restricted than it was in the past but thats an unfortunate consequence of people taking advantage of a great hiking park.
A nice walk in the woods. Last time I was here I saw 2 pilates woodpeckers. Today I saw a downey woodpecker.
Beautiful park. My family loves it!
Great hike. Fun. Wonderful scenery and s great creek to cool off in during warm weather
Its a nice place for a break from regular chaos around the bustling city, abundant nature in the park will give you positive vibes, we can even get into the stream to take the heat off in summer which gives you a relief.
Love this park! Its a perfect nature escape for 30min hike
What a nice park. Perfect for a short hike and to enjoy the cold creek on a hot summer day
Wonderful park, lots of cool and unique features. Good hiking trail.
Favorite place to run
Great trail with lots to see.
Corbetts Glen is pretty much the perfect hiking adventure to have with smaller kids. Its a smaller park with short level trails that pass by multiple little waterfalls, through pretty grassy fields, lovely forested areas and even over boardwalk clad wetlands. My toddlebeasts and I splashed in puddles, hunted for acorns and through stones in a waterfall. It was a pretty perfect afternoon.Unfortunately parking is rather limited in spots on the street outside the park, although Im told that there is a larger parking area at the far side of the park. So if youre going on a holiday or weekend afternoon this is something to keep in mind.
Really enjoyed the hike here! Water to play in if you have kids. Small waterfalls! Very scenic!
Awesome hiking! Wish there wasnt so much fencing though
Beautiful scenery but where bug spray
Ah. Maze. Ing. ... I grew up other side of the creek in the 1990s.. how surprised I was to see one of my childhood retreats has been hooked up and preserved! The homes too, just wow! SUPER cool place to bring the kids!
Beautiful park, a very nice, 2 plus mile walk.
Great nature hike with the pup!
Very quiet place for reflection
Very pretty and family friendly
Lots of fences now. Pretty lame.
A small park with nice trails. It is great to have a place like this so close to the city center but that takes us into the woods, with so many plants and animals!
Great place to go swiming and walk thru the rivet, so much fun!
Mosquitoes were out lol but we managed to have a nice time together ️
Went midweek on partly sunny day and it was serene. Quiet except for gurgling falls. First time for me and only did a short route but was invigorating. I also envy the residents of the OG farmhouseDefinitely a place for roots.
Beautiful park! Loved seeing the falls. The only thing I think can be improved is marking the trails better!
Easy to follow trail with a small hidden waterfall.
Great place to get away from the stress of life and get some exercise!
Cool little park mot usuall busy very quiet and peaceful.
Hidden gem! Great for a nice little hike. Found our first cache too!
