Basil Marcella Park is on English Rd in Greece NY. It used to be called English Road Park, and most people who live near it still call it that. The park has soccer fields, a modern playground, a skate park, disc golf, tennis courts, walking trails, and other things that I will remember later. The large wooded portion of the park is great for (ungroomed) cross country skiing when there is snow. The park is one of the gems of the Town of Greece.

The trails are beautiful it was very peaceful and quiet ..this park also has a basketball and tennis court and a kids playground and lastly a big field for baseball . Overall im very happy i went here

Beautiful park in suburban Greece. Wonderful paved trail through the woods, with smaller trails winding back for a more secluded hike. Well-kept and very clean. Only downside is that its right next to 390, so you can hear highway traffic throughout the park.

Great Frisbee disc golf course. Its almost completely in the woods but easy enough to navigate. Just go back into the woods after hole 9 so you can play the back 9

Basil Marella Park is a great park in Greece with lots of different things to do. There is a decent sized playground with individual room bathrooms with exterior doors. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, a fenced in football field, and lots of soccer fields. There is a skate park that gets very busy - but all the ramps have been removed - not sure if this is COVID related or not, but the timing lines up. There is an 18 hole disc golf course that gets quite a bit of traffic. There are geocaches hidden all around the park. There are walking trails and a fitness trail. There is a creek here that is a fabulous place to explore. There are a gazillion parking spots around the place - but it does fill up if there are sports occurring! My dogs & I walk here and have figured out a loop to get almost 2 miles in with very little backtracking on the same path. When I was in a walking boot and using a scooter we came here to use the paved path - though it made me discover it isnt exactly smooth. It is good enough for a stroller, motorized scooter, bike, probably a wheelchair. My dogs love playing in the creek, and we see families hanging out there, too. This is a great place for a lot if different things!

My only experience with this park is the disc golf course. Top notch. Well marked. All shade. Lots of trees. Some water and elevation on the back nine.

This park has a very nice scenery. I love to go here to take the trail walks. My younger brother also loves that there is multiple Pokèmon stops, which might be a plus if you are interested in Pokèmon Go. A nice skate park that I plan on skating at soon. Overall very nice park. Also, this place is very dog-friendly, and even provides doggy-poop bags and trash bins to throw those bags out if you plan on taking your dog(s) here.

Pretty scenery, nice walking trails. Not a bad park other than high school kids smoking pot regularly there.

I go there for the disc golf wich is very challenging in the woods. Many hiking trails and sports fields

It has so many soccer fields, a bike trail, playground, skatepark, basketball court, tennis court and frisbee golf course. There is a small kids field towards the front entrance on the left looking at the park from English Rd and 5 other soccer fields. The playground is pretty big and loved it when I was a kid. Never used the skatepark, tennis courts or basketball courts but I know theres more than 1 court each and theres a gated soccer field used for night games under the lights. The frisbee golf course is great despite all the trees getting in your way, the holes are well labeled and you can stop at hole 9 or go on to finish all 18 holes.

Walked through the back nine of the disc golf range, and enjoyed the hike back and forth across the creek.

Nice size with little kids, not too big or too small. The bike path is fun to walk and there is one hill that is big enough for young kids to sled on.

I live close by and go to this park almost daily, as the bike trail goes directly through it. I often find myself cleaning up after total strangers, because they have no morals or common courtesy, or respect for themselves or others. There are trash cans all over this park... Do your part. You are raising kids with zero respect. I shouldnt have to clean up after you, nor should my 6 year old child.... Heres a perfect example... The trash can is literally 4 feet away....

Nice park with lots of recreational spaces for different sporting activities. The location is nice and it is a good blend of open field and wooded trails. The disc golf course is the real kicker for me but be prepared to ding up some discs, you really have to just go with the flow or you will get aggravated. Last time I was there the skate park was looking pretty run down, I do not know if they were planning additions or repairs but I have seen it in better conditions.

There are a ton of soccer fields plus a pretty decent playground,tennis courts and a skate park. There is also a fenced in football field, frisbee gold courses and a few miles of decent trails with workout stations along the way.

One of my favorites because its close to home and has a nice paved path for a stroller. Nice disc golf course too.

Its so peaceful and a beautiful place to walk with the dog...kids could play on the swings and slides...I love it there...I go 3 times a wk to just walk the dog on the trail...and people there r so nice.

Really nice and well-kept park with many amenities, including disc (frisbee) golf which is what I go for. You should know that the whole disc golf course is in the woods. This makes play a little frustrating since many throws will go doinking off trees. Still, a fun course if you dont mind the woods. Nice and shady for hot weather.

Nothing special. Just a nice solid park to walk or bike through, play some field sports in, hit up the playground, have a picnic in, or even use the disc golf course.

This park is well maintained and also has hiking trails, streams, tennis, skate board, basketball courts. Added bonus..clean bathrooms! : )

Basil Marella park might be the best park in all of Greece. It offers a wide range of amenities for nearly all park visitors. The major attraction is probably its athletic fields and courts: soccer, football, tennis, basketball, and volleyball. Of course theres an awesome three-story play structure, pavilion, swing set, bathrooms and water fountain to compliment the sports activities. What makes this park super special is the addition of a skate park, disc golf course, and beautiful walking and biking trail that runs through the park.

Great golf course, it would be even better if high schoolers didnt break bottles and litter everywhere though... Also the town needs to put some trashcans out there and allow the disc golf community to put in bridges/ make other improvements that benefit everyone.

A nice park with nature trails through the woods, and a wandering creek. Theres a disk golf course which meanders through the woods and results in a lot of the trees being badly scarred by impacts from discs... There are sports fields and tennis and basketball courts, and also a skate park and sand volleyball nets....
