Very nice, well taken care of park. Not large. The different memorial are both heart warming and sad.

This park is right next to a library and a post office. it is very quiet, lots of places to sit, and lots of shade. the memorial is beautiful.

Nice quiet place to read next to the library. The flowers are blooming in the garden and it’s beautiful. Dogs allowed, bags at entrance of the library parking lot. More kids should utilize it!!!!

I love the garden part of this! Very cool native plants and a nice dog park. Theres always bunnies and squirrels.

This is a favorite of mine! The entire place is gorgeous, no matter the season. Such beauty and tranquility. A great tribute and a wonderful spot in our community. It is pup friendly, but fur babies aren’t allowed on the grass.

Im a vet and cant tell you how much the visit ment to me. Made me cry. Grounds are well kept and the office folks are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly.

Any place that gives positive light to veterans and sacrifice is good. This park is a large lot that has a veteran themed idols in areas. Large clean ok lot to sit and reflect that in. Free and without squatters to which are found thru out city. No bathrooms that Ive seen.

This is a lovely park. I go often to visit with my uncle and share memories of him with my children. Unfortunately a local business is ruining the peace and beauty of the park. Yes service dogs are allowed but that’s it. The park is not listed as a dog friendly park nor is it a dog park. So shame on K9 rehab on Southern Blvd for thinking this is her own personal playground. She trains dogs at the park every weekend. All behaviors are welcome to join according to her. The area they train on has become brown and patchy. It’s very upsetting someone can be so disrespectful.

A quiet and reflective place for the soul. The parking lot is frequent place for meet ups with the post office and library on opposite ends. Over the years the gardens have expanded their botanical beauty.

We love coming here to take our son on walks and love the atmosphere with all the assorted flowers, plants and trees.

The Veterans Memorial Park is a little visited gem of a park dedicated to the veterans and to law enforcement. Officer Daniel Webster happened to be shot down across the street, coincidental to the location. Nice peaceful location and dont miss the tranquility of the water feature. There are also 3 Pokestops.
