We. Love. This. Place! We couldnt wait for the splash pad to be used and my kiddos spend a minimum of an hour here every visit. The only complaint that I have is the number of children that seem to have no adult supervision. The older kiddos seem to not care about taking turns or being courteous to the younger kiddos. Parent supervision needs to be better so the park will remain a great place for all of our kids to visit!
Simply beautiful park, gated for safety, handicap accessible, clean bathrooms. There are picnic tables, artificial turf as a softened play surface, and multiple areas for children of all ages. The entire area is encircled with a path for stroller moms, and one section has exercise equipment. In the summer- a splash pad! This place has it all!!
Great fun park for kids. It is very big, lots of kids areas for different age groups as well as some handicap accessible swings and such. They have a music area, also a small splash pad that unfortunately was not really working when we were there. Lots of picnic tables, very clean park. There are toilets and some water fountains. Some areas are shaded as well. Beautiful park. Worth the drive to visit if you’re not from the Westside.
I feel that all parks should be open the city of Albuquerque has more then enough man power to maintain sanitary requirements if COVID is an issue but parks are important for our childrens mental well-being very disappointed that it is closed.
My kids absolutely loved this park. So many play options for them. Usually, when I take them to the park, I get bored in the first 10 minutes but here, I had fun running after them and playing with them.I think kids of varied ages would have fun. It was definitely safe enough for my 1 year old.The padded ground cushions falls. The music area is amazing. All of the equipment are nice and sturdy enough for adults in some cases. One criticism is the inadequate parking. But not a big enough problem to cost them a star, since street parking is available.
I absolutely love this park and the idea behind it is what a lot of communities should try and create for their own towns, the play structure is very well made and the location is safe, clean and ideal. The weather is usually beautiful and sunny and my kids really enjoy playing here. Parking isnt always the best but that is easily overlooked by enjoying being there.
This park is so cool, probably the best park in NM. They also have wheelchair swings and nice bathrooms. The attractions they have will keep you and your little ones entertained for hours. The only downside are the water fountains have not been working for quite some time. I tried calling 311 to notify someone but 311 doesnt work anymore. So, bring lots of water and get ready for an amazing day at this fantastic park.
Absolutely lovely and stunning park! Its well maintained and huge! They have sensory toys and instruments, climbing objects and so much more. A vast selection of things for disables and abled kids. Its amazing! I highly recommend this place to everyone! With summer coming theres plenty of places to sit in the shade and enjoy a picnic lunch. Its conveniently located down the street from RUST Presbyterian hospital. Take time to come and explore. Plenty of parking!
7/2020 Park is closed due to COVID. It is a Great park. We walk the blacktop on either side of the canal. Generally there is squad there when we arrive. Lots of walkers, runners and bikes. Wish they knew to announce when passing. Lots of dog poop from lazy owners. Watch your step. Masks are a NM requirement. Have one available. Can be enforced. Just sayn.
Amazing space on the westside. Huge park for the kiddos to basically do everything and anything they want. Music equipmemt, swings including handicapped accessible equipment and tue water spray park opens in may i believe.
Awesome! Busy! Water stuff in the summer (turned off in winter). Its unbelievable that this is a free park! I wish they had it when I was a kid, lol.
My daughter loves it here. Would give 5 stars if all of the rides were working and if the park was maintained better. Water fountains not working, AstroTurf coming up, needs some deep cleaning.
Dont hate it, but cant give it any score since they are still closed. So sad
Best park ever!!!! Highly recommend taking kids thier.they also have swims for handicap and wheelchairs.. seriously if u have not been there you should totally do it...
Great park for the kids! Love how it is accessible to kids of all ability levels even those with special mobility needs. Wish there was more parking. For a park this size always attracting a crowd, there sure is limited parking space.
Wonderful park. Lots of space, shaded areas, diverse play stations.
Activites for all ages and skill levels. Wonderfully maintained and easily our favorite park.
Nice park...... basketball goal, playground, a good walking area.....
It’s the best park we have ever been to it’s always so clean, & always so welcoming. People are very nice & friendly. Parking is easy, & accessible. I absolutely ️how easy it is to maneuver around with wheel chairs, strollers, etc.... You gotta see it to believe it!
This is the best park in the area! So many new and fun activities for the kids. There is an area for younger kids and an area for older kids. The first time we went here we thought we would pay to get in here. You cant see it from the road but when you get down into it it is huge! I would definitely take your kids here!
AMAZING! Very handicap friendly, accommodates many different types of disabilities... lets just say the ADA would give this park an A+ guaranteed!!!I took my 10yr old son and we had such a great time running around, jumping and playing on everything together!!! Theres so much to see and exlpore, wish we couldve stayed longer! However, my son did mention that he thought there wasnt enough things to do for older kids... and suggested they should put like a skate park area but make like it safer, so that maybe kids who have wheelchairs could enjoy it too and bust out some sick tricks. We will definitely be going back throughout this coming summer...
There are no entry fees or reservation fees, the park is free for all families to enjoy. The play equipment is designed for andy person with any ability. They have a restroom facility that is 100% ADA accessible, musical instruments, water splash area, labyrinth, basketball court, special equipment, hills, tunnels, slides, wheelchair swings, and shade structures. Tables and benches sit under the shade structures.
I love this park people come here to have fun not fight or argue only FUN its the best my family feels safe out here
Great place. Currently closed due to covid.
If only we had a park like this when we were kids! Great place for parties, picnics or just to have a good time. They even placed adult swings and a workout area for when you need to get your pump on while the kids are playing.
Wonderful park, perfect for ALL kids. Always busy so get there early! Wish the people were better about picking up their trash but not the citys fault people are slobs. Overall, great place!
I love visiting this park! There are so many things to do and play on! Theres a music area, water spray area, play ground for small children and a separate area for big kids. There is a bathroom and water station, too. There are a lot tables under shade. This park specifically has a lot of things to do for people in wheel chairs like swings and teeter totters. This is such a great accessible park for everyone!
This park is closed due to COVID-19! The website shows it is open, but when you get here the gates are shut with a warning on them.
Love this park! My little guy loves the splash pad. Love that there are bathrooms and so many covered picnic tables around as well.
This place is always fun. Some might complain that there are too many people, but hey its all what you make of it! Remember to love one another the way you want to be loved!
This park has equipment for all different ages of children and is an amazing place for sensory play! It also has beautiful views!
Super fabulous park for kids of all ages. It is a must experience for kids
This park is our autistic sons favorite place to go especially in the summer time. Best park ever! Always so clean.
So much fun even on a cold day like today!
This is a wonderful park with activities for all ages. From a musical section to the splash pads, your child will have something to do. It is handicap accessible. The only problem is that parking is usually pretty full so plan extra time to find a parking spot.
Nothing bad. This place is all good for the kids. You will not regret going here it is awesome and so much fun and things to do for the kids. A++++++
Great paved paths along the arroyo next to the park. You can walk a long ways. Very well kept!!
A fantastic place for all ages but specialty for ages 2-12 and/or any physically challenged youth that wants to play. Huge space, tons of seating, a musical section and a splash pad for the warm days.
One of the best parks in Albuquerque. Its partially covered, so the kids can still play when the weather isnt so great. There are things for all ages to do. The splash pad is awesome in the summer.
We love taking our son to this park. Its such an amazing facility with so many fun things to play on.
I love this park. It is the only park I go to. My younger brothers love rolling down the hill. I love shooting some hoops. There are tons of things to do. Ive been here too much to count and it has never gotten boring. I recommend bringing tons of water bottles, because youll be there a while. It is very interesting. My 3 year old brother loves the little water park they have. I love the picnic tables by the basketball hoop so I could hydrate myself before shooting some 3 pointers. I am fifteen years old and I love the park. If you go to this park comment whether you like it or why you dont like it.
Its awesome lots of fun and lots of variety love it.
Such a great park! Lots of stuff to keep the kids busy and I also enjoy playing there too! When we go, we always stay till it gets dark because it’s so much fun!
So much fun! HUGE park with multiple areas of activities. My kids and I were passing through town and theyve been asking to go back ever since.
Great family spot. also has a great little gym that is handy while out for a run
Great my kids had so much fun
Had a fantastic time!! Best park ever!! Clean, things to do for all ages!! Even workout area too or walk around while kids are playing, gated all around, dog park!! Just amazing, kids loved it!!
This was the most amazing park I have ever been to! It has something for any age or ability. They even have fun things for those in wheelchairs! High recommend it and I look forward to going back again with my kids (and whoever else tags along)!
One of the best parks we have ever been to
This place was really fun! Great for birthday parties and has a lot of stuff to do. Your kids can even cool off with some water fountains they have there.
Its a very clean and safe park lots of excitement and fun.
Great park for all ages. Also has a dog run on the far left side. Has a splash pad for summer.
A unique park that my son and granddaughter live to go too. More entertaining than most parks such a musical instruments, sand pit, excercise machines for adults, padded walk way a and play areas etc.
Good Place but a bit crowded. Also there is a bit of trash on the equipment.
Lots of grass, nice playground and decent running/walking trail at base of park! Trail leads to some cool graffiti and rocks in the Arroyo.
Beautiful park! One of the nicest parks we’ve ever been too! Really clean and lots to do for the kids the also have a lil water park for the kids to get wet when it’s hot in the summer! Really cool wish we had more parks like this around!
Great place to take kids to play. Well maintained and good variety of activities for kids. Gets crowded on weekends though.
Park is closed. City needs to update hours on google so people don’t drive all the way to the park to find out it’s closed.
Completely Handicapped wheelchair accessible park. Has to be the nicest place I have ever visited. Lots and lots of handicap parking. But beware of goggles algorithms. Seems they want control who is going to be president of of USA.
Great for kids and parents alike. Shaded for the kids and parents with a water fountain and bathroom. One of the best safest parks in the ABQ metro area
Wow! This park was huge! ADA wheelchair accessible and many more activities. This would be a great place for anybody. Lots of activities to choose from.
Hard to beat this park. Its clean and theres so much for the kids to do, and ADA facilities. Also, two Pokestops and a gym, if youre into that sort of thing
Great park! Best to go at non peak times if you have small children.
The direction took us to a back road. And it is closed due to covid
Great place for the kids to burn there energy. Ive never seen so many things for kids to do in one park.
What an amazing place to let the kids run around! They have a great assortment of jungle gyms suitable for all ages and also a musical experience for children. Very secure as well. Overall a great experience.
My kids loved this place. Water park wasnt working but it was so much fun!!!
The park was wonderful, a great place for kids and family but the parking is horrible.
Super Fun. Super Clean.Splash Pad was too cute. Kids had a blast. Definitely a must try. And its free. Good job city of Rio Rancho.
Great place to bring your kids. Kids having fun sliding down the hill with pizza box, instead of playing on the play ground...
This park is amazing. My kids never want to leave. We played on the splash pad and it was just enough to cool off my kids without being a huge hassle.
This place was AWESOME! The pictures dont give it justice. Multiple playgrounds, shaded areas, a splash pad, and its all gated. Ill definitely be visiting again.
This is an amazing park. Lots of swings and activities for all ages. The splash pad is very refreshing and the musical park is a lot of fun!
This is the best park I have ever been to. Its all fenced in and hadycap excesable.
Clean fun place to entertain rhe kids with its multiple sections of different things for them to do. Including a dog park and exercise area for those who wanted to bring their furry animal family. Everything nice partially shaded except the adult workout area that with the sun made it too hot to use.
Great place, and fully fenced! Great place to take my 2 Autistic children. Just ignore the absent parents who are on their phones, or chatting with friends instead of watching their kids!
Blast!! In one word. Cousin from outta town said she has Nothing like this back home. Always clean and stocked bathrooms. Thank you
I love that its a park that all kids regardless of their abilities or age. My daughter and my niece just love going there, specially in the summer with the water splash area.
Wonderful park! Like a true wonderland. The toddler park has sand. The ground has cushion so if kids fall it won’t hurt. Swings of all types and huge slides!!! Best park I’ve ever been to!
Wow! A Park above is a great place for evey member of the family especially those with children who have special needs. There is a variety of playground equipment which is wheelchair accessible. My 4 kids beg me to to take them.
Very nice park. Kids everywhere were having a great time. One thing you have to watch out for is the plastic slides and obstacles being exposed to the sun when the temperature is hot out. It is very hot to the touch. This park has restrooms!
Driving: Its in Rio Rancho, so pretty far for anyone in ABQ east side but still a doable 30 to 35 min ride. Nice malls, restaurants along the way to make a stop.Facilities: great games for the kids. Splash pad has very, very little water. Conservation maybe? It would be great if a canopy covering the west side of the pad were available. Setting sun is pretty ruthless for younger ones and those with disabilities during summer.Seating is comfortable for parents and neatly located in the shade to keep an eye on the kids.Several groups were theyre celebrating birthdays, and there was plenty of space for everybody.
Best park Ive ever been to!
Amazing park. Really the best public park we have ever been too. Things to do for all ages and abilities. Even a little splash pad in the summer!
Awesome park with something to do for all the kids. I brought all six of my kids ages 9mo to 11yrs and everybody had a great time. With everything fenced in I wasnt worried about anyone straying too far. It was great to have bathroom facilities on site and lots of covered equipment in the shade.
Love this park! Only did the 4 stars because the splash pad should be open until at least 8 during the summer. 6 is way to early given that it’s the hottest time of the day
My kiddos love this park!!! They always ask to go!!! Their slides are fun, love the water splash pad in the summer and the bathrooms are clean and well stocked!!!
I love this park. Not only is it for able children but children with disabilities as well. The swing set have regular swings, chair swings, and swings for wheelchairs. Everything there is wheelchair accessible, including the bathrooms. The grass area is fake grass with foam underneath for safety. There is even a seasonal water play area.
Except for the crowds, this is the best free spot to take the kids in the entire metro area
Good park probably the best one in New Mexico. A must go to if youre visiting from out of town. It is however too crowded like way too crowded at times. I recommend going during a school day when most kids are at school, early morning before noon, or late evening. Other than those times you wont really be able to enjoy yourselves.
We love this park. Worth the drive every time
Such a great way to spend time with your children! And its FREE FREE FREE FREE
Really awesome park! Has everything. Water till bout 6pm. Handicap accessible. Swings slides and so much more.
Great space for kids of all ages to play including sand for digging and a splash pad
Great place for a birthday party, make sure you get a spot early.
