Its the happiest place in town when the sun shines, during this pandemic. We all het out walk or play different games. Or somevjust sit and talk. But its humanity interacting together. Its how our town is surviving these days.Ill never look at pur little city oark the same again, once yhe oandemic ends and we all have vaccines ir herd immunity. Its the happiest place in town. I mean that.

Great place to have a morning breakfast picnic. Park is clean & well maintained. I would go back anytime!

Family oriented. Saw lots of families with kids in the play area as well as on the green open field. Basketball court was popular among youngsters. Tennis court was also occupied. Good patch of green close to home for a walk!

My children love the jungle gym, and the wide open field. Its a clean and enjoyable park. Great place to get their energy out.

Music & Movies in the Park was a blast. Great job, Rio Rancho. This park is always clean and fun for us.

Courts are workable, ball gets stuck in net most of the time on some courts, on the good court the rim a little loose.

Very bad services. They need better services in the food area they false advertise its supposed to be stuffed subs not light and 1 slice of bacon really I didnt pay for what I paid for I will never buy from this place again it was my first time and it was the worst experience

It is a beautiful park. It would be better if the restrooms where open. People should be safe & take their own disinfectant, my family does.

Haynes park is a fun place for the family. I would recommend coming here for any summer activities you have planned. There is a pool, which is relatively busy. There are also restrooms, and even a couple water fountains. There are also a couple of basketball courts, and even a large field that you can use for soccer or other sporting events. It is right next to a church, which (used to/currently) hosts AWANAS. The park hosts annual events every fall, which includes fun games and prizes for children. (It is free). 10/10 would recommend.

Haynes park is another destination, I particularly love to go too. Its a spacious park with many amenities. The park is also a park friendly animal park people take walks around there n large field. They hold many different events during the summer as well as the fall season. Something for everyone,they have a nice pool there where everyone can come and enjoy the water, especially on those really hot days. They have a nice community center and have a host of activities for adults as well as kids. They also have a tennis court,a nice basketball court, boccie ball court, horse shoe court and not to mention a great playground area for the kids. Restrooms for men and women are clean and easy to get to, parking areas are clean and well maintained as well as the park as a whole. All in all a great place to spend the day relaxing or walking which ever anyone prefer to do.

My 1-year-old had a wonderful time on the lil tikes playground - was so excited that she could stand in the tunnel and walk through, or crawl. Great sensory experience and opportunity to see other (and bigger) kids and dogs, too. Grass was well-maintained, as were the wood-chipped playgrounds (it was super thick and fresh). The gravel areas were maintained as well, though I did find several pieces of glass and other bits of trash.

Excellent experience with healthy paws. Have had dogs and pet insurance for 40 + years. In my experience, Healthy Paws has been the best by far with ease of claim submission and payment. It is generally cheaper premium for younger vs older pets and you have options for level of coverage to fit your needs. Recently our 9 year old Weimaraner had an intestinal blockage and perforation and 90 percent of the bill was paid within 3 weeks.

Great Park! They always have something going on for the community. Pool is open during the summer plus you can rent picnic areas for big parties. Looks like they have other areas to rent for classes or indoor parties as well. Great play area for kids as well. The City of Rio Rancho takes good care of Haynes Park.

Nice park, the kids like the pool. Love that you can take a cooler packed with goodies, and spend the whole day at the pool. Only bad thing is not enough shaded areas. The park area is nice and clean, wish there was more to do for my 1 year old grandson. But for the older kids there are basketball courts, tennis courts, huge grass area to play soccer or football on. Also a nice walking path.

Great local park. There is a variety of playground equipment for all ages of children. The grass is always green, and overall its a very clean park. There are restrooms but sometimes they are closed, and as youd expect from public facilities. Rio Rancho PD frequents the area, so the rapscallions tend to avoid the area... and frequent the sonic down the street. On a side note; dont go to that Sonic- its rubbish. There is frequently far shows, and live music happening here. I dont know about the pool, as Ive never utilized it.

Nice, older City park and swimming pool. They let the dogs in the pool the last day of the swimming season, very cool!

Its a nice park and well kept the few times weve stopped by. My family and I dont live nearby this park but its a nice place to stop and enjoy yourselves if youre in the area. The playground is in decent condition. I cant comment on the pool because we have only stopped by in fall/winter but seems to be decently cared for.

Very nice community center in Rio Rancho. Has outdoor pool, a center, walking paths, a soccer/football type field and decent parking. This is a family friendly venue.

Parks okay but it sad the pool closed due to Covid.

Clean, big trees and shade, 2-5 year old play structure next to 5-12 year old play structure. Lots of monkey bars, double zipline. Bring your own water, drinking fountain doesnt work.

Its nice when the community comes together, and you get to meet new people, plus being entertained. And thanks to the mayor Greg Hull for putting it together.---Good Job.

My go to park until A Park Above opened. I still go here every once in while still.

Great nice little park! Has tennis courts, basketball courts, a field for playing ball, and a jungle gym, picnic tables, and nice trees. I took my little chihuahua there to walk her around while we are traveling .

Good park to go to. They maintain the park to a high quality. There are basketball courts, a track, and a playground. Also, it is easy to find parking, there are two big parking lots. There is so much to do. By the way around the track, 4 laps is a mile.

First time to visit. Took my dogs for a short walk and will visit again. Nice park.

Music & movie under the stars is always a pleasant treat! I wish they would show romantic movies for couples once in a while.

Harvest Festival with First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho last night. It was a great time and the kids had fun.

Was there to enjoy New Horizons band concert. Park was green and very clean. Except for NM spring winds and a few drops of rain, it was very enjoyable.

Had an awsum 1st bday party next to the playground for my grandson. Loved the area that was equipped with a grill and a picnic table. Only downfdall was pool was closed for the summer...

Good spot for Pokemon go

The park was very big and clean. the lunch provided during the summer is great and its healthy. there wasnt alot of shade other than trees so the playground was very hot and the tennis court had no shade or seats. same goes for the basketball courts

It is the greatest park. It has been a gathering place for families for over 30 years.

We had a wonderful family time. We walked our dogs around the park and talked the whole time. There is only one thing that we regretted. That it is our fault. We took no ball to play with. We took no fun with us. We were able to just walk around. The playground looked great. There was plenty of shade. It is a wonderful Park.

Love this park. Have lived next to it for over 2 decades. They maintain it and all around enjoyable environment. Theres a public pool with a slide and playgrounds for the kids. Tennis courts and more . Plus there are a few Pokemon stops in the park.

Great space, great time, beautiful landscape, the surrounding people were very friendly its in a nice area. I would definitely encourage others to visit this park even having birthday parties or any get-togethers.

Went here at midnight while i wasnt sober, chill place to be. You never realise how weak youve gotten until you try to use monkey bars, am i right? Also I lost my keys here. Nice vibes. I recommend for kids teens and adults, try the swings.

There were no shade structures over the playground equipment. It was close to 90 on Sunday, June 9th. Doesnt make sense that a childs safety is not first and foremost. Alot of grass areas that were totally dried up.

Very cool park. They got basketball, swimming pool, play place, wide open field to play 2 soccer games next to each other. They have a mini ampitheater. They have a dog park, with poop bags as well. Oh there are i think 8 pokestops here for pokemon go and 1 gym. Definetly be coming back.

A nice park, with running trails, benches and Tennis courts. Reserve a pavilion for parties. Game fields for Soccer etc. Parking is somewhat limited, but there is always a space available when I go.
