Very disappointed with our return to the movies tonight where we went to see Tenet. First movie in months and we were excited... The Buffalo Trace bourbon drink was on the menu but we were told after ordering that they were using Old Forester instead... they said they could use Bulleit, but didnt tell us about the additional charge. Ordered a double, and got a tiny pour next to the cocktail. Ordered wagyu sliders with truffle tots and they brought it out with fries; charged extra for that too. They took the fries away while we waited for tots. Decided to eat sliders with no sides after a few minutes of waiting before our food cooled off. My sliders were edible but not great. 2 small sliders, maybe 2 inch diameter. Bread and meat were both tough almost like they were frozen too long. We knew this place was a bit pricey, but seems like it is even more pricey after recovery as they try to make up lost revenue. Wont be going back any time soon... Very disappointed.
I love love love the spacious seating and all of the staff were super friendly. The food was adequate but well probably just have popcorn next time. They also said theyd be by to see if we needed drink refills during the previews but we never saw anyone. Overall a great movie experience though. And very pretty bathrooms
Staff is always super even when they have a full house. ill return family next time. prices that wont break you. makes me feel like i am back in tucson.
This experience was very disappointing. The bartender had no idea what wines they carry and the food came after the movie started, which was distracting. The menu is very limited and the sandwich I used to love was tasteless. We won’t be back.
I WANT FRENCH FRIES! I hate tater tots. This was my favorite place to watch movies. I was told that it was a decision made by CORPORATE. I know that the staff doesnt like the tots and neither do many customers. CORPORATE refuses to listen and wont bring back the fries. To me, tater tots cheapen my experience and makes the ambiance seem juvenile. Until the fries come back, dozens of my friends, family members, coworkers and I will all keep going somewhere else.
So happy they are open. Had a great night and the movie was Tenet was amazing!!!
BRING BACK THE FRIES. Love this place. Perfect for a date night and their food is amazing. BRING BACK THE FRIES. The food is always fresh and the customer service is fantastic. BRING BACK THE FRIES. Specialty drinks are a bit overpriced, but you pay for atmosphere. BRING BACK THE FRIES. The only thing I wish theyd do is BRING BACK THE FRIES.
Very nice folks, comfortable seats, but terrible popcorn.
I cannot emphasize enough how horrible my experience here was. Despite having been warned by friends that it was not worth the money, I went. After sitting down, a young waitress came up to us and explained the process. She asked if we needed more time to look at the menu and we said yes. We did not see her again. At all. Another waiter working attended to every single group around us, completely ignoring us. Twenty minutes went by, and once the previews began, I went down to speak to the other waiter. I told him that we had not seen our waiter since the initial contact, and he laughed and said, I know exactly who it is. He then asked if I wanted to place my order now, with him, and I told him that I was honestly so frustrated that I didnt want to anymore, and he replied, so what do you want me to do?Appalled, I told him that he could send someone to talk to me. Not the original waiter, but a manager. After the movie ended, there was no manager waiting. I asked if one was available and could be sent to speak with us. When the manager arrived, I explained the situation. There was no apology, he did not ask for the name of either waiter, he just said, Ill get you guys vouchers for the next time you visit. And turned and walked away before we could say anything. He returned with two free tickets, and we told him, thank you, but we dont think well ever actually return after this experience. And all he said was, Im sorry to hear that. And then he wished us a good night and left. Both I and my friend work in the service and customer service industry and are typically extremely understanding when something goes wrong or there is a delay in service. However, the way we were treated and the reactions of all employees with whom we interacted were absolutely inexcusable. Not only will I never visit this facility again, I will advise anyone I speak with not to waste their money. But, uh, if you want some free tickets, hmu.
Staff super friendly. We were running late yet were never rushed.
If you dont think about how much you spent for the food and movie in 2 hours you can enjoy. Place was spacious to enable serving food. Seat was wider but not deep enough or it is too up straight to comfortably relax to watch a movie. No bad odor with all that food served everyday. Place was very clean. But, some mosquito or bug bit me all over my hands. Service and food was good, and decent choices even for vegetarians. I hope they clear the empty plates and bowls next time consistently to everyone. We emptied most of the food we ordered before the movie started. But, we sat trying not to knock the plates and cutleries down throughout the movie. still like to go back again but will be wiser in ordering food :-p
AWESOME FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE! I was able to enjoy my movie (Creed Ii) and not worry about young children talking or crying. Th e leather chairs were very comfortable. I just wish they had a reclining feature. The fully stocked bar was amazing. My choice from the menu was the Garlic Chili Wings. You only get 10 but it was still delicious. My wife and I will definitely come back.
Two thumbs up for this place. I look forward to going back again.
Saw the 3:15 PM Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at CineBistro for the first time. What a great way to see a movie! The leather seats are roomy and comfortable, there is no obstruction blocking your view. Food was well prepared and delicious. Good selection of drinks range from mixed cocktails to wine and beer. Service was great too. All and all, it was a great experience.
Chairs are a bit tight for thick thighs and you can’t order anything after the credits start. Pretty much ruined my first date with my husband in 3 yrs. Thanks.
This is the greatest place to go see a movie! They have comfortable leather rocking chairs and a great menu of food. Today I had hot and spicy wings which were delicious and had tons of meat. My wife had the pimento cheese burger which wise juicy and piled high with meat and cheese. The reason Im not giving 5 stars is the waitress seem to be completely disengaged in her job. Normally when we go here the staff is warm and welcoming, and even though the gratuity is automatically included they still act as if they are trying to earn it. The waitress today made no effort Beyond simply taking our order
Great place to see a movie! We have been several dozen times. Has a great bar to hang at before or after. The bartenders are always very friendly. I rated 3 stars because they made some changes to their menu that I really don’t like. They went hipster and replaced their fries with tater tots. I’m not eight. I don’t want to eat tater tots when I pay $15 for a burger. Hopefully they will make some changes soon.
Far and above, the best way to experience a movie in the area. Ive never had a bad experience. Food is always amazing, great beer selection and some of the most helpful servers around. Nothing more magical than enjoying a great meal and watching a movie in some super comfy chairs. You gotta try it.
Super nice staff fun atmosphere and good food.
Took my fiance here for data night and really enjoyed the experience. 1. The venue and theater are really nice, roomy comfy chairs, even if the place is full it wouldnt feel crowded. 2. The food was good, definitely better than I expected and not terribly expensive vs what you get. 3. Very good prompt service. It is more expensive than going to a regular theater, but if your plan is dinner and a movie, I dont think Cinebistro is any more expensive, so its a good value for a nice night out.
Love the oversize comfy seats & the size of the theater. You feel like your in your own living room with a lovely big screen. The meals are delicious & the service is efficient & unobtrusive. I will be going back. The meal pictured below is creme brulee, meatloaf with kale & boiled potato, Caesar salad.
Love this place! This is the way a theatre should be and the good here is excellent. No one under 21 is allowed, so you get to actually enjoy the movie. The chairs are plush and they rock back and forth. The bathrooms are clean. Just an overall great experience. Little pricey (bout $100 for 2 ppl)... but worth it. Great for dates nights.
This place is always awesome!!! Foods great, staff is always friendly and prompt... and I love the fact that theres no children or people under the age of 21 in the theater so we can actually enjoy the movie without the unnecessary noise.
This was my first time at a dine in cinema and I love the concept. The food here had a great presentation but the meats including Salmon come rare so make sure you specify how you want your food prepared. I would definitely return. It was a great date night type of scenery.
I really like the concept. The wait staff is excellent and unobtrusive during the movie. The seating is very nice and there is a large bar that should meet any drinking needs you have. Other diners have been quiet and respectful. No kids yay! I think the food is a bit overpriced for what you get. The menu is creative, but after going a few times, I feel like Im more happy getting something like a burger and fries rather than something like ribs, which seemed microwaved or reheated. Id rather spend money on dinner, drinks, and a show rather than a tub of popcorn and 2 vats of soda for not much less.
I always love this place and the food options. Mainly because I love the atmosphere at Stony Point and it gives the air of romance. I feel like Im getting my monies worth out of here. Only thing I could complain about is that they dont really check for refills. I get why they dont, but I didnt notice any options to have it done. Maybe the service button? Im probably just being stupid by not realizing something, so I wont lower my five star rating for my own potential incompetence.
Back in 2019 (mothers day) I had my first visit here, and it didnt go well. I had substitutions for my meal, which werent made, had them remake it, and the chicken was burnt. I decided not to base my review then, and give another chance which bring me to February 17th, 2020. Again Cinebistro failed to deliver. The prices for the tickets, drinks, and food are high enough that the service and amenities should be present at all times, or warned about before buying the tickets if theyre not available. We bought our tickets, sat down, looked over the menu, THEN the waitress tells us that several items were unavailable (chicken wings, steak, salmon, and 2 other items i cant remember). I had my heart set on the salmon, and wings as a second choice, but none were available. After telling the waitress there was nothing on the menu I wanted, she walked off (didnt wait for my husband to respond with his order), and a different waiter came to tell us the same thing. I then asked about if the popcorn had any flavored salts which there werent any, and settled for a glass of water so i could hold myself over until the movie was finished. The waiter tried to say they ran out of food due to the valentines day turnout, but there was no warning given to customers before paying for their experience. I can now say with certainty that this place does not remotely meet my expectations, and i will not visit again. To each their own as this looks like a nice place, but i personally will not waste my money again.
This place is so nice and the service is outstanding. The food id delicious. The staff will explain and suggest the food selections. This is now my go movie place. EXCELLENT
I have been going to Cinabistro for a long time now. Servers are excellent however I am seeing the class of the place going down. Tater tots are children’s finger foods to me. Also bathroom napkins were a nice quality now they are a gas station restroom quality. For the price of the experience upscale amenities and food choices should be reflective in the price. Portion sizes have changed also! I’m bit disappointed in my favorite theater.
Always a treat to go to Cinebistro. Large, comfy chairs, small venue, great cocktails and wonderful servers.
Great place. Service outstanding. The food and drinks to die for. Add a great movie. What can I say but get yourself there. Perfect for adults to enjoy without a young crowd .I had the BBQ Pork Rib Stack. So good. I also had the Strawberry Mango Lemon Drop. A refreshing mix drink. I had a wonderful time. I will go again and again.
Great place to see a movie. Relaxing roomy and the sound system makes this place the best theater to see a movie. Also the food is unbelievable good. The crab dip and cheese steak are the best. If you want to see a movie and really enjoyed it come here.
I had no idea dinner and a movie would be over $100 for 2 people, no alcohol. The food was good but I dont really think the experience was worth the price. Ive had Movie Tavern before and I think the prices were much better for what you got.
I really loved the experience. The food wasnt too bad. I had the baked rigatoni and sausage but I think it couldve had more flavor. The waiters/tresses are so organized and well managed. They were so great and helpful for our first time there. Its clean and the seats are comfortable.
I often wonder why people do good in the beginning of business and once they make it big, they want to go cheap. The reason I said this because I ate their wings tonight and they were not fresh and I just going to say they were frozen and reheated which they use to fry them fresh. They were stuff and hard. I am just saying.
Top notch menu, a fusion of Southern and French cuisine based in Richmond. Seating is very comfortable, accessible to all, and the staff is very cordial and hospitable. If youre a first time visitor, they will take their time to describe the way serving food and drink operates. Their mixed drinks are delightful. Knowledgable mixers that craft a smooth beverage everytime. Highly recommend.
The entire experience was awesome! Of course the movie was great (Bad Boys For Life) and the food was amazing! Made for a great date night, 10/10 would reccomend! The price is well worth it.
Great place for dinner and a movie. Really comfortable seating with lots of room. You are not cramped like in other theaters. My burger was great but the sweet potato tater tots were a tad overdone.
What a great experience! Located beautiful Stony Point mall. Ambience is relaxing and modern, gorgeous decoration. Staff was very nice, polite, and accommodating. The food: delicious!! We had the the burger, crab dip (lots of real crab meat and delicious cheese on top, with smoked bacon bits) - the dinner rolls that came with the dip were to die for! Crispy on top and so buttery and moist - and warm! Popcorn was served in a ceramic bowl and there was a lot of it: price was comparable to regular movie theaters (size: bigger than a medium, but a bit smaller than a large - perfect!). Jasmine tea: real dried leaves in a bag (like Tevanas quality). The menu is fantastic. We are thinking about trying other items next time. The only reason I gave a 4-star is because of the seats: they are spacious and all, but not very comfortable on long movies. They look like recliners, but they are not. Also, there is no foot support. If they changed that - it will be the best place to treat yourself and others, here and there. On Tuesdays they have promotions, so - it would be a great time to check them out! Weekdays is perfect: not crowded at all.
Place is great. Needs to work on the cleanliness of the theater seating and dining. Saw Doctor Sleep last night which was pretty good but, the seating area was in need of better cleaning. There were crumbs all over the tray area and our seats but, new eatery was placed on the trays as if they had been cleaned. This is the 2nd weekend in a row we have encountered this issue. I hope this place does not start to slip to the point that it becomes like most rundown theaters. We have enjoyed this place for years and would like to keep it that way.
Very Very Nice place to catch a movie. Food was good, pleasant atmosphere. It can be a little pricey thou.Like they say - you get what you pay for.
The chairs are comfortable and the wait time is short, however, not being able to be served during the movie provides little chance for getting desert or seconds but does ensure guests movie viewing experience is not hendered. The list of food is short and whoever is in charge of the food is not the brightest. They often take some of their best dishes off the menu including classic French fries. Youre better off eating Applebees before coming here
Ive been before and tonights visit was Good just not quite Great. The atmosphere wasnt lacking(perfect for a premier movie Date Night)...the service was cool(extremely helpful..when they were available) and the food options were plentiful(in some cases, lacking flavor). I do suggest they consider an option for the servers to return to retrieve the many used plates as a result of an overindulgent night(me eyes may have been bigger than my actual appetite). In their defense it is made clear that your full order will come out at once and no one can come to assist you once the movie starts, BUT should you require additional help; just go out to the bar for service. Comfortable chairs and even a foot ottoman (IF you dont mind being front & center of the 1st row of the theatre) can help create a memorable experience.
The bathrooms were not clean or stocked. They stopped offering extended service. They took French fries off the the menu and replaced it with these nasty undercooked tots. The service is subpar. I had the popcorn chicken and it wreaked off old oil and they were so burnt and flavorless. Really over priced theatre and service/food as gone downhill. All employees look unhappy. Unfortunate!
The best place to enjoy a movie and a meal. The bar is conveniently located inside, the mall offers high end shops and tasty eatery.
CinéBistro is awesome... what else can I say. Dinner served at your seat and a movie after dinner. Probably not something that you can do every weekend as its a bit more expensive than the regular movie theater, but its well worth the money every once in a while to have the experience. Friendly and helpful staff, good food, and good fun. Highly recommended... 10 out of 5 stars.
They keep changing the menu, and the prices went up! I used to come and get a good portion of food I would leave stuffed, but the portion sizes changed significantly and they stopped selling French fries and sweet potato fries and now they sell burnt, crispy, nasty tater tots!! I’m not 2 why would I want to pay these prices for tater tots!!! And more expensive tater tots!!! I’ll probably go back because no kids allowed is nice but I know to eat first!
Well done! It was an effective way to combine the cinemas and the cafe bistro. The facility was clean, the staff was absolutely fantastic. The menu selection was pretty impressive, and for the prices, they were fair - the food was very well prepared. Would recommend to anyone visiting Richmond and wanting to do something different.
Listen to me when I say this... If you wanna go to the Movies and have a Awesome experience with your Lovely Wife or Date then this is the Perfect place because its setup perfectly for Adults. You can sit back in a Beautifully decorated Theater and enjoy your favorite Adult beverage and order a 5 Star Dinner right from your theater Recliner seating while your nicely dressed waitress handle all your eating & drinking needs. Its so Awesome to have Dinner & watch your favorite movie at this Place. The Bar is Awesome and the Drinks are Perfect. The People are very Professional, very helpful and very Nice... Take your Special someone here for your next Date Night... Enjoy
Movie started at 1:15 and website said arrive 30 minutes prior to the movie when we arrived at 12:45 the place was closed with a sign that says we open n at 1:00 we used the bathrooms and returned at 1:08 to be told that last call already happened and we had to order at the bar and go pick up our food from the bar. We informed them that the place was closed and they argued that it was open at 12:45. The facility was nice and bar waiter was nice but the ticket lady was rude and refused to do anything to do anything to help or accommodate us.
They did not have French fries, instead we received a handful of tater tots. I consider this to be an upscale adult theater and to get tater tots with my meal was disappointing not to mention overpriced. Other than that, I enjoy the experience most times.
Not much better than you can do watching a movie here. Good food, good wine, comfy seats. This is the place!
A great experience. The chairs are comfy the food and drinks are delicious. Take date night to a new level.
Our first CineBistro experience. We really enjoyed the experience. We found that having a nice glass of wine really made the experience. My only complaint was listening to others eat during the movie.
Kid friendly. Good food. Great date place.
First time ever having a movie experience like this, I loved it! Great for the kids or a date night!
Great movie experience, staff can be quite disinterested, food is overpriced. Easy to spend $120 for two people. But remember, the movie experience is great.
If you are in the mood for a first class movie experience, this is the place for you. We finally got around to wanting to see the new Avengers movie. I love being able to reserve my seats in advance. I would recommend looking at the menu prior to arrival. The service staff is friendly but they want to get everyone order in the 30 minute window prior to the movie. So, they definitely kind of rush you a little; bit its understood. The chicken sandwich was amazing. Good beer and wine selection. Comfortable seating. Very wide aisle. Endless refills on popcorn; shut the front door. Its a little pricey than a traditional movie but I think its worth the upcharge.
Kind of pricey but its a nice place to eat and watch movies with decent food.
Food was great. I tried the spare rib tots and was amazed. So tasty
Love the service and ambiance here! It was our first time going and well definitely be back. We splurged and ordered a full meal since we were visiting as part of a birthday celebration. Really good food, but would likely opt to just get appetizers or eat dinner elsewhere and enjoy dessert from here during the movie. Staff were on point throughout the visit, and the theater was really clean.
Love the movie/dinner concept. Although movie cost are high no matter where go to see a movie its also a money saver to purchase food right there so you dont have to go out to eat, waste gas and then attempt to make the movie on time if stuck in traffic. Ita pricey but of a good value with good servers, good food and a good movie environment.
Best place in Richmond to go to the movies. Huge comfortable seating, good screens and sound. The meal and service are always quite good. Never had a bad experience here. Our go to movie place.
Every time I go here (I don’t care if it’s for a movie or just to grab and drink and lunch/dinner) the food and service is beyond great! I never have any complaints!just a great time honestly! I love the crab dip and salmon, shrimp, collards& mashed potato dinner! I tried the banana cheesecake for the first time it was delicious as well! Must stop by and check them out if u haven’t been
What a great date destination. Husband and I always have a good time here. Great movie selections and great menu selections.
Came to see the movie US (what a good film) and the whole night was great. We had drinks at the bar before the showing (a little pricey but they were good) and we had some dinner once the movie started (again pricey but good). Huge credits to the staff both at the bar and within the theater who tended to us with getting our meals etc. Very courteous and will return for another dinner-and-a-movie-night..Also I appreciate that its 21+ in there which is great. Thanks CinéBistro!
The policy for those under 21 is completely confusing. The movie has to be before 6pm AND on their “Family Approved” list. Why a 16 year old can’t attend a 4 pm PG-13 movie is asinine. You are most definitely losing revenue because I can tell you teenagers eat like adults. I understand the after 6 pm restriction because it’s nice to have an adult only option, but lift the restrictions before 6pm.
Won’t see a movie anywhere else now. Good food. Great staff. Super comfy and large seats. No kids. Perfect adult movie venue! Well worth the money xtra cost!
The service is great! The movie experience is very intimate ambience and spacious!!
A beautiful place for dinner and a movie. Perfect for a first date.
This may be a lengthy review due to the Content containing two parts but please read, especially if you have anyone that is under 21 intending to Patronize this establishment in your party.1. About a year ago my wife and I, for my birthday, decided to see a movie and have dinner as a celebratory date night. We ordered our meal as we waited for the movie to start but it never did. I understand technical difficulties can be unpredictable so I did not leave a negative review at the time even though we were still made to pay for our meals and we’re only give it a voucher to return at a later time and see a movie. Which we never did as this location is 30 minutes from my home on the west end of Richmond and with children date nights can be few and far between. So basically we still wasted a night to eat at a table in a movie theater where we never got to see the movie.2. On Thursday, November 7th, we decided to give it another shot for my birthday again ironically. This time with my 20-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter with us to see Joker @ 2:45pm. We purchased the tickets using fandango. (There is fine print when purchasing in the terms and conditions that under 21 will only be admitted prior to 6 PM -our showing was- and in the company of adults over 21 - which my wife and are- ) during the checkout process there was no authentication needed to ensure that all in the party for the 4 tickets we purchased HAD to be 21 or over, NO POP UPS stating no one under 21 would be allowed at ANY TIME for this movie “Joker”. Just, as I previously stated, under 21 is admitted for showtimes prior to 6pm in the fine print on the fandango website and again our showtime was at 2:45pm on a Thursday. Now looking at their website there is a large disclaimer on the landing page stating that it is 21 and over however that is not the case on other platforms at which they allow tickets to be purchased. The reason for the detailed explanation above is because when we arrived as a family we were immediately turned away because our two children being 20 and 16 were obviously not allowed in due to the “21 & Up Rule”. No apology was offered and I had to ask for a refund before that even became an option. I did ask why it wasn’t communicated when we purchased the ticket and was only given the exclamation of that it is explained on the website. Again we bought our tickets on fandango not through their website. So I am assuming that if I was more investigative and went searching for reasons why we could be Not allowed to see the movie, I would’ve found The fine print stating this very obtuse rule but I was just purchasing tickets from my family and I to see a movie and have an early dinner for my birthday and what I consider a cool concept experience.I am giving them the lowest score because now there has been 2 separate occasions where part my birthday celebration has been negatively influenced by this establishment. The first time as I stated I just marked up as an on foreseen Technical error so I did not leave a negative review... that’s the time I guess you could say it was the straw that broke the camels back.I sincerely hope you have a better experience if you visit this theater but remember EVERYBODY has to be over 21.
This was our first visit, and it was generally great. The food was outstanding and the portion sizes were good. The only negative thing was it took almost 20 minutes to get our drinks in the lounge. The seats were comfortable, but we were surprised they did not have the option to recline.
MEAL WAS FINE BUT NOT QUITE RIGHT HOWEVER THE SERVER ONLY OCCASIONED BY TO TAKE OUR INITIAL ORDER BUT THERE WAS NO FOLLOW-UP/FOLLOW-THROUGH. CONDIMENTS WERE NEEDED BUT NOWHERE TO BE HAD. NO SERVICE AND TIP WAS ALREADY INCLUDED (18%) IN THE BILL. TO REITERATE: THE SERVICE WAS LACKING.
Wife and I went there this weekend. We were one of the first couples in the theatre. Server came, took our order right away. Popcorn and drinks came out right away. Dinner didn’t show up. The lights went down and the movie started before our dinner got there. I ordered sliders and wife had bbq rib dish. Every single person in the theatre had their dinner before we did. We’ve been there 20 times and this is the 7th time our dinner was wrong or delayed. One time i had to go ask for our dinner. We could see plates coming in and there they go back out. Maybe they had wrong theatre or wrong food, don’t know. We quit eating there for a while cause they kept screwing up our dinner order. So we tried it again and we almost didn’t get our dinner. We were there 2 weeks earlier and everything went perfect. Seems to be hit or miss with dinner. Theatre is very nice, drinks are good. Now I have to eat before I go and just get popcorn.
The food is good, not great so dont go overboard. The seating and staff are excellent. Quality movie theater experience.
Been a while since Ive been here. Im not a big fan to the changes of the menu ..no crab cake sandwich ..the sweet potatoe fries are now tots..etc water down drinks after first round..
My husband and I are frequent customers but not anymore. Tonight was our last visit. This place is too pricey for the service and food quality. We have had too many experiences with undercooked or cold food. Also the menu changes and the service lately has brought this place down. Tired of throwing our money in the trash.
Nice place, trays are small for your meal, but had a nice time. Good food. Took a Togo box home.
I come back because the service is always great and the food is good.
Very friendly and accommodating. It was my wifes birthday and she wanted to go watch a movie at CinéBistro, something weve never experienced. We purchased our tickets online for us and a small group for an 8pm showing. On the way we got caught in the most horrendous traffic while passing through downtown Richmond from the east end, a drive to Stony Point is usually about 25-30 minutes, it took us over an hour to get there. We arrived at 8:17pm which meant we missed the chance to order in the theater and would have to wait in the lobby to get food missing part of the movie. I asked if we could exchange our tickets for the later showing and before I could finish the friendly associates at the counter already had a seating chart pulled up and helped us select even better seats than what we had purchased online. Within 3 minutes we had our new tickets in hand, were able to relax, and had an amazing time. Food was very very good and service in the theater was very prompt. Two dishes that stood out was the Chicken and Churros as well as the Meatloaf Marsala. I will be back.
Be advised, the best thing about this theater was there were no kids allowed. However, when I went this weekend, there were kids running around so I guess they now allow kids. Too bad!
CinéBistro is far and away the best dinner-and-a-movie experience in Richmond. The atmosphere is classy and peaceful. This is enhanced by the fact that this theater is at all times 21 and up, so you never have to worry about kids making a mess or talking during your movie. The menu is on the smallish side, but this allows for every dish to be delicious. The service is always professional and quick, it really makes you feel like you are in a high class restaurant, and not at the movies. Now, the only downside is the price. Dinner and a movie here will easily cost more the $60, which is a bit hefty, but the experience always feels worth the splurge. Definitely a must for movie lovers who want to elevate their experience once in awhile.
I would go again if only I had a chance. Loved loved the idea of food and a movie plus a comfortable seat.yes please
Its a little higher than regular theaters but well worth it. Bathrooms super clean and nice. Nice comfy seats and good food and drinks while you watch movie. And theater is not as crowded and people arent on there phones and stuff its great
Great food! Lots of options. Nice seats. All seats reserved. All food served before the movie starts. So plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early. Refills on drinks and popcorn require you to step out into the hallway. This keeps service staff out of the way during the show. 18% gratuity is added to all orders. Great way to catch a movie after work.
Very enjoyable place to sit back in comfortable seats, eat, have a beverage and enjoy a movie. The staff is almost invisible while doing their jobs. Great place.
This is a pretty great place for a date. The growing trend of offering food and beverages to moviegoers in an attempt to get people back into the theatre is perfectly demonstrated here. While it is pricier than big box theaters, its still pretty cool to be able to sip on a cappuccino while watching a movie. Its a great date experience, combining food, beverages and first-run movies, all while only having to find one parking space.(Originally posted to Yelp 10-12-2015)
Great movies, good drinks, however vegan options are very scarce.
