Beautiful park. My absolute favorite part is the Haida House, I love the beautiful totems on the building. Its next to a river/creek and it was really calming to meditate here. Even though its next to the street, the walk from the parking lot I parked at was really lush and quiet. I will be back regularly to enjoy this spot.

Wonderful, hidden gem!! I hope in the future that an artist in residence is able to utilize this space. This is beautiful living history.

Wonderful scenery all through the trail. My phone is full of photos. Mr Dudley Carters wooden carvings are just amazing. There are so many different types to trees and plants to look around. The river gives a calm feeling. Love walking here. The Samm river trial connects to different trails Marymoor park, idlywood park, bear Greek trial, Sammamish.. I dont get bored walking here everyday, infact everyday I look forward to. Must visit. Best place for cyclists, for a stroller ride with your kids or a jogging and walking. Or just sit and enjoy the nature!

Dudley Carter park is along the Sammamish River trail. Being close to the Redmond Town Center, it provides a good place for kids play and for adults to spend family time with a nice walk in the park while watching the wood carvings by Dudley Carter. The parks history is interesting. A nice place for a nice break.

Its a small park with a couple picnic benches, a workshop carved by Dudley Carter and carved pole. The view of the river is nice and park has lots of shade in the summer. A nice place to bring a lunch. No nearby parking so you need to walk a bit.

Beautiful scenery. There are all kinds of different plants and things to look at. The trail is even demarcated with a yellow dashed line for cyclists. Perfect for a relaxing stroll, jog, or bike ride.

I miss Dudley.... He was a really cool old man... was willing to talk to everyone and teach any little kid who happens by some simple wood working skills.
