Such a beautiful little park, great for little kids to explore and walk around a small loop. Mushrooms, logs, moss and even an owl have kept us looking in wonder and awe of nature’s beauty.

Wide trails through the woods, carpeted with pine and fir needles. Theres room for more trail development, I hope they do build more.

Even though the park structure itself is smaller in size, it is still good quality. The nearby open grass fields, trails, and sports feilds/courts make it possible to have fun for hours!

Its a good park, base ball fields and a soccer field. Parking could be a little better and the bathrooms are a literal joke. Looks as if a homeless person lived in there for weeks. No locks on the stalls??! Oh yeah thats a good idea especially since KIDS play baseball and soccer at this park. Yeah lets not have a child beable to lock a stall when going to the restroom. Stupid idea and its the sole reason why Im rating this park low.

Awesome dog-friendly trails they give you the feel of being in the mountains while youre in the middle of Redmond. Sports facilities off also seem well kept and plenty of options for parking.

The trail system here is first rate. In addition to the state park trails, the National Ice Age Scenic Trail also runs through the park and links up with the other trails. Kayaking on the Upper Chain o Lakes here is much more relaxing than fighting with the powerboat on the main chain. All of the lakes here are slow no-wake. I havent used them but there are also mountain bike and horse trails and accommodations for horse trailers. A great example of the WI State Park System.

By far the best park Ive been to. There are many things to do there, including a mountain bike course. (I do not suggest the hard course unless you are pro at mountain biking)

This is my favorite place to disappear with a walk through the wooded area. You cannot tell you are less than quarter of a mile from a residential area. Its quiet, peaceful and relaxing. After a long stressful day, its a wonderful place to walk and think. A great resource for our community.

Very cute little park. Relaxed for a bit on a Tuesday morning before work and it was nearly deserted.I noticed lots of people parallel parked, but the parking lot was empty except me and 2 other cars. Not sure if other park goers realize theres a lot or if they were doing non-park activities somewhere else nearby.Several sets of restrooms (though not sure how clean they are, I didnt go in), walking paths of varying difficulty, and lots of benches and tables. I didnt see any playground equipment like there is at Grasslawn.Im sure it has its busy times but I was so pleasantly surprised to find this quiet little slice of green space! Will be back for more reading and strolling!

Great park for baseball, walks and general play and picnic. Theyve spent some resources improving the fields over the past couple of years so its perfect for little league. Could use more bathrooms and maybe a bit more parking and covered seating by the fields but otherwise its great.

Review №65

The park is well kept and nice. There are several fields, mainly set up for baseball. A couple of the baseball fields have turf and several with grass. There are many practice batting cages (self-pitch). The lower parking area has an outdoor concrete basketball court. There is limited space in the parking lot, but lots of street parking across the street and along the road that borders the park. The baseball really carries in this field and it seems as if it is a little easier to hit an out-of-the park homerun with the thinner air. There is a conveniently located snackbar and shaded grassy areas in the outfield of the upper fields to watch the game from.
