Probably good for young children, but not big enough for adult hiking or football, soccer etc.

This is a very small park. They dont even have bathrooms. There is a port-a-potty however it was acceptably clean. They even had hand sanitizer inside. There is a picnic table as well. There are plenty of trees, shade, and benches. I believe there is a trail and pond but I didnt explore that far.

Great little neighborhood park with plenty of shade. They have a seperate area for little kids (2-5) as well as for bigger kids (5-12). There is also a nature trail.

Great little local park with plenty of trees for shade which is always welcome especially with little children. No kids, no problem!! There are several little walking trails through the woods, great for a little escape to connect with nature.

Quiet neighborhood park with newer equipment. There is also a trail around the lake there that can be a nice walk. There is a porta-potty which isn’t something I enjoy but some parks don’t have restrooms at all, so there is that. They have play areas for younger kids as well as kids 5 and up!

Good playground for children.Definitely would warrant a dog park. Theres room f in r it too..Nothing on North west side of Raleigh in Leesville district, and lots of dogs that need exercising. With traffic, its hard to go all the way to Milbrook Exchange. Please consider adding a cyclone fence for dogpark. Land is there and wouldnt cost much

I often take my 3 year old to Strickland road park to run off energy. I love the park because it is shady, the equipment is in good working order and its rarely busy. The landscaping is nice and there are plenty of trash cans and recycling bins, picnic tables and benches. The only downside is that there is a port-a-potty and it is often pretty dirty.

I love taking my 4 year old here to burn off some energy. Another bonus the park is well shaded so the heat doesn’t bother you much.

My 2 year old loves this park, has slides, swings, sand box, and much more in the older kids area. Only wish they had nicer bathrooms. Its a portable potty.

Small park with relatively new equipment and decent shade on sunny days. Short trail around the pond features a number of fish, skinks, hawks and other cool wildlife. A good spot for younger kids, but no attached community center with real restrooms as of yet.

Great park for families with kids of multiple ages. Stays shady in some areas which is nice. The sandbox is always a crowd-pleaser.

Super close to our house so we end up here quite often, even though its not the biggest or best park. The play structure has 2 slides, and there is a smaller set of slides for toddlers. The sand area could use some refreshing as of the last 6 months or so. Only porta potties are available on site. I wouldnt come from too far away for this park, but if you are close by its worth a stop.

Love the shaded areas. Play equipment is nice, but sand was full of leaves and pine needles. Not a big deal though. Bathroom is a porta-potty and no sinks

Not enough old school play things too ergonomic which makes it boring for a toddler.

Mi

Needs more picnic tables only has one and the equipment needs a cover so in the summer it doesnt burn the little ones. It has a porta john instead of bathrooms and no where but the water fountains to wash your hands. Also the toddler area has a dangerous rock down the hill next to the slide that kids like to run down, my son fell and his head missed the rock by a hair! Very nice area though and not a lot of troubled kids hanging around like some places!

The play area is mostly shady with several benches and a few picnic tables. Its not a big park so its not much fun when its busy, but nice for a quick outing.

It would be even better if there were a real bathroom instead of the porta-john unit (although its usually clean, but not practical with kids)
