I love this park if your traveling with pets great place to stop. Not far off the highway, gives dogs room to stretch out. Several different fenced areas, so if your pup likes alone time youll find room for him. The local people were so kind. Area is full of shade for dogs, so Im sure bugs could be rough on damp days. You might need a jacket on cool days, but the dogs love it... There is a water station and serveral buckets. We travel a lot this is one of best dog parks I have been too.

I take my dog to Carolina Pines almost every day and he loves it! The large dog park is so big, he loves running around and sniffing every inch. I like that there are three sections of the park: one for small dogs, one for medium dogs, and one for big dogs. The park has lots of trees which means lots of shade in the summer! There are also lots of picnic tables and chairs to sit at. My only complaint would be there is not regular maintenance work done. There are often some overgrown areas and tree limbs on the ground. It also gets muddy very easily especially after it rains.

Beautiful dog park thats spacious and shaded. There are three separate dog areas, which is perfect for small or shy dogs to have their own space. Theres picnic benches to sit on, dog bags, and water for your pups! Its the best dog park Ive been to so far in the area.

Love the openness of this park and how shady it is throughout. Just be aware that not every GPS will take you to the exact location of this park. Its towards the back, behind the baseball fields. Everyone I met was always friendly, and most watched their dogs closely. There are pools for the dogs, buckets of water for them to drink from, and potty bags all around. Theres also a separate section for smaller dogs. Plenty of seating for you to enjoy while your dog socializes.

Awesome dog park with friendly owners. Its separated into 3 fenced areas - one for small dogs, one for large dogs, and one thats not labeled. Be aware that while the area is handicapped accessible the ground is natural cover and slopes away from the entrance so you probably should avoid it in a wheelchair unless you have somebody to push you back out

Very nice wooded dog park. Shady and natural, very relaxing. There are three areas for dogs, big dogs, small and I guess just special dogs? When we were there the dogs and people were all very friendly. Other areas are available of your dog needs a little less stimulation. Probably or go to dog park even its a bit more of a drive.

One of the better parks in the area. For the most part people are good about their dogs.I did have to forcefully remove a dog off of mine one time. The own tried to reprimand me about putting my hands on her pet. I simply explained that if she was paying attention to her dog instead of being in the corner on the phone she would have noticed this to begin with, and would have been able to help when I was asking whose dog is this.

I really enjoy taking my dog to this park until a few days ago when he was attacked by another dog. This is the second time the same dog tried to attack my dog and other dogs for that matter. The guy who owned the dog didn’t even try to break it up nor give any apologies. If you go and see a large white dog that is not neutered and his owner, a tall bald black guy, don’t go!!!!!

Best dog park, absolutely huge, decent seating (for a dog park), mostly in the shade, even a doggie pool for the hot months. Almost never any serious dog fights that Ive witnessed, most of the owners are watching their dogs. Bugs get terrible in the summer because of the tree coverage, but thats just NC

Nice dog park. Lots of shade and seating options. Might have just caught it on an off day but we were visiting from NJ and the vibe here was really different than the dog parks Ive been to at home. Most owners werent really paying much attention to their dogs. A young dog my dog was playing with got bit by another dog that had been wearing a muzzle. Im not sure why youd even bring a dog like that to a dog park. Then another dog chased the young dog and was circling and lunging at it and its owner. She had to lift it on a table to get it away and no one could figure out whose dog it was for a few minutes. There were also 2 older dogs lying under a table that were snapping at any dog that got near them and another dog that seemed aggressive with anyone trying to play fetch. We didnt hang around too long because my dog seemed a bit intimidated and wasnt really playing after the bite incident. It might just have been a bad mix of personalities that day but it spoiled what was otherwise a lovely dog park for us.

A good size dog park with plenty of shade. The people I’ve met here have been very friendly so far. There is a spicket for water and an agility “ladder” (?) you can have your dog walk up and down. Plenty of space if you wanted to walk to the other end and have some alone time or enjoy the smaller area attached to the larger section if your dog doesn’t get along quite as well. Best dog park I have found so far in the Raleigh area!

I love this dog park. It’s a nice mix of younger and older people, but everyone watches their dogs so there’s no ugly scuffles. Unless it’s been recently mulched, it can get a little muddy when it rains, but just remember to bring a towel! There’s tons of water buckets around too & a water filling station. I wish I could give this an outstanding rating, but your visit here will be only as good as the the number of informed & responsible dog owners that are visiting at the same time. Be very careful also about keeping an eye on your car at ALL times. Break-ins occur in broad daylight w lots of people in the park. Never go close to or after dusk - lots of prophylactic items on ground that are health hazards & choking hazard for you & your dog.

I loved bringing my pup to this place. All of the owners are sooo friendly & sweet. however, my car was broken into. back door smashed in (tried the front window, didnt work out for them) & stole my wallet. this was midday like 3o clock, and i was parked right by the dog park & in sight. then people told me this happens all the time... in broad daylight & no one ever sees/hears them b/c everyone is focused on their dogs. they are experts at this. the park is great, but the local crime is definitely not.

This is a great dog park for dogs big and small old and young. Theres one large main dog park and then to medium size smaller fenced-off dog park areas for dogs who may be on as well socialized or who or if you just dont want your dog out in the big dog park. In the main Dog Park area there is a spicket to fill water buckets and there are plenty of balls and toys lying around so you dont need to bring your own but you can if you want to. Theres also a small plastic pool which you can fill up with water if your dog likes to play in pools which mine do. Plenty of seats and benches all over the dog park. There are several posts in the dog park that have doggie bags and there are well-marked trash cans just outside the fence.

The dog park itself is great. As for the people, you get some cool people and some not so great people. One time there was almost a fight because one man started getting feisty about another mans dog because it played rough, although his own dogs were engaging too. Thoroughly unnecessary. People there can get overprotective sometimes and split up dogs when theyre play growling, which is annoying to me. Luckily my dog doesnt play rough so it didnt impact us much.
