Update. Since the construction began the clean creek where children would play became a mud river, thanks to the deforestation of part of the park. Parking lot is closed but you can still access the park. The park is relatively small and peaceful. It has a small creek, a pond and minimal infrastructure to observe them. There are three trails which could be covered in 45 minutes. Children enjoy playing around the creekside.

An underrated park, this gem is nestled between Crabtree and Millbrook Rd. Easy to come back to once you find it and beautiful trails to explore. While going in the fall could be tricky to follow a trail (leaves everywhere),there are marked wood post throughout. I believe there are 3 paths to take around here. We took the Main Path which was a nice simple loop around. There is a wheelchair accessible path as well.

You can hear the traffic noise which kind of ruins the rustic nature feel to some degree. The pond is stagnant but the stream is really pretty. Its a short hike on the main trail. Maybe 20 minutes going slowly. Paved parts of the trail are destroyed by roots over the years, but that kind of makes for a secret garden feel.

It’s a nice local nature park with a small swamp too even. However there used to be wheelchair accessible trails that have since been not kept up, and I wish the city would repave and fix them.

An enchanting hidden gem. Quiet shady walks, a placid fishing hole, picnic tables with leafy overlooks. Id like to know its history.

Very woodsy, shady park tucked into the Brookhaven subdivision off Glenwood Ave. I came alone just to check it out for the first time. I would definitely come back with a friend or friends before hitting any of the trails. Though it is in a nice area, everyone, especially females, should use good judgment when out walking alone.

Nice area for a short little walk in the woods. I usually do not see other people so we mostly use it as a place to let the dog off the leash and run.
