Im surprised nobody has mentioned the hidden mountain biking trails here! I dont know who maintains these, but there are a good few miles of meandering singletrack that are pretty well-worn. Some varied terrain here, including a granny-gear climb under the power lines, plank bridges, one or two water crossings, downhill mini-berms, even a few jumps! I recommend beginning at the entrance behind the playground (not well-marked). Start here at higher elevation and run the trail clockwise to minimize the amount of climbing. Eventually youll come out near the boulders at the bottom of the parking lot by the community center. Check out the AllTrails app to see the riding routes.
This park could use a ctl+alt+del and get a restart. The flow bowl is by far the best part of this park. The main bowl is... well, what you get when a bowl is designed by a committee. Go check it.out, youll see.
A very good skate spot! Very friendly people and skaters of all skill levels. A chill atmosphere and a good sized base ball field across the parking lot.
So many pokestops and 3 gyms. Very poke-lit.
This park is awesome if youre into transition skating. Theres essentially nothing here for a street skater, but carving the transitions here is heaven on wheels so there really isnt any room to complain.
I give it one less star because we had a few skaters who came over and partook of some food who werent invited to our gathering. We let them have a few plates because we didnt want anyone hungry but wish we didnt have to worry about such things. Sometimes it was loud with the skaters etc. But hey, its Marsh Creek. Least theyre not skating on the streets putting their lives in danger and we are glad for that. ️
The go to skate spot in the Triangle area and possibly the whole state... Ive enjoyed the atmosphere and the skate facilities are quite possibly pro worthy. The regulars there are incredibly nice and supportive and you cant find a better place in Raleigh to skate. Easily accessible from a main road and plenty of parking. Tell Pinky I sent you! If hes not there hell be there soon lol!
Nice place for all your party needs. Air conditioned and children play area is very clean. Family oriented. Soccer fields are available
Cool place to roller skate at lately
Its nice for kids to play outside and I think it is safe
I visited to attend a Seminar given by AllThingsBrittany Jay/ Metamorphosis Coaching Solutions . Very nice atmosphere!!
Amazing layout. Helpful staff. Many places to walk.
Annual Skate4Life - skateboarding eventIt was an friendly diverse annual community event.People of all ages and nationalities gathered to enjoy a day of skateboarding, vendors, competition and networking.Fun was had by all!
Great affordable track out and before/after school programs are offered here. The counselors are friendly and my son has a great time here. They do so much with the kids they almost put me to shame lol. I never have to worry that my son will be bored or is just somewhere watching TV or playing video games all day. The staff is very creative and and they are always doing arts and crafts, taking hikes, and going on field trips when he is tracked out. I highly recommend. Sign up early though, slots tend to fill up fast close to the beginning of the school year.
Just left Marsh Creek Park Community center where they have church service Sundays at 11am. The church is Kingdom Christian Worship Center and the minister, Khalil preached a very good word. His points were real, applicable, and relatable. I loved how the he shared the scriptures without being super churchy. I had a good time.
We love this park! There is a cool skatepark and a fenced in playground in the back. Great place to take the kiddos to get their energy out.
Stale butt early grab
One of the best places to BMX... Wish there were lights tho
Nice, clean and quiet place to excerise, relax, read or have lunch!! Check it out
Park was nice but I plan to call management about the very dirty ladies restroom.
Too wet to ride much today.Big standing water in the bowls
Clean park and rec area .. Great location for family fun
I attended my first line dance class scheduled on Saturdays at 9am $5 per class. It was fun, non intimidating and instructor was a great leader.
This is more then a mark it is a home to all of the locals
Very nice and quiet for being in the center of town. Ample parking and good place for walkers. Theyve got a skateboard pool although smallish.. Cars go too fast through there. They need speedbumps
Great place to skate. Im from Greensboro, but they got a lot of awesome skaters in the Raleigh area!!! Hella fun!!!
Quiet little spot amid the hustle and bustle of New Hope Rd. Pull over and eat your lunch or snack
Was nice for a family BBQ at the pavilion as long as you dont mind graffiti in the bathrooms. Water hose hookup was a plus considering the 100 degree heat index.
Great place for parties and outdoor events
The skate park is great for skaters of all levels.
Wonderful couple of hours with the children riding their BMX bikes....clean restrooms as well.
Great skate park area- it is more of an intermediate to advanced skate park.
I loved the Little Shelter area that you are able to set up with food when you have a group or a little party there is also a nice skateboard park some people will be a little bit scared of that but it was not interfering with the shelter area so that was very nice its the way its set up the skating park is a little bit down the valley so its nice theres also a field park behind the tree area, across from the parking lot I also like how the park is off of a busy road but yet there is a fence that surrounds the park and some voilage so that it also feels secluded at the same time. My only concern is that you have to make a u-turn on New Hope Road in order to come into the park also GPS doesnt give the best directions on how to get into the park you might have to be changed on GPS but I love this park its one of the best parks in Raleigh in my opinion
This park and community center is a hidden jewel within Raleigh.
Alot of activities like line dance
Alot of activities and woods to relax and grill by skate traxks. .. Community center locacated in back way. N back wood follow arrows big building turn right nice panic tables along side for a brunch.. my son say open game for basketball is in April.. There us a baseball feild tucked n wood and it was so mux h i didnt get see all
I loved that the center was so clean!!! It wasnt dirty at all!!! The person who was at the front desk was very kind.
Lovely park...LOVE that its fenced in! Only thing I dislike is there isnt much shade where the benches are placed
Omg went to my nephew football game and had to use the restroom it was soooooo far away. Just use restroom before you get their.
No water fountains anywhere. Skate park area is decent, but theres too many small, unsupervised children, which are a hazard to themselves and others.
Lots of vert. The bowl is enormous, unskatable to probably most.
If you cant skate marsh its cuz you been skatin weenie hut general
The playground equipment is in reasonably good condition. The park has ample parking and good options for track out camps or just bringing the family on a nice day. I have never used the skate park but if I ever reverse the aging process I will be sure to try it.
City park with baseball fields and skate park. Also has recreation center with workout facility for 18 + for $10 month. Gym and great events hosted. Will even pump your recreation balls; baseball, football, etc. For free of u bring. City residents get discount.
Great park, good flow, friendly skaters.
Great park with trails, a place to eat, bathrooms and a skate park in it
Great place to chill and vibe and skate and bmx
This is more for a open field to play and they have a baseball beside. I have not seen a trail or kids playground. They do have a skateboard area. There is also a facility that can be rent for meetings, gatherings, party, etc.
Beautiful park with nice playground equipment. The entire play area is encompassed by a gated chainlink fence and the surrounding landscaping is very pretty and serene. There was no one else at the park on our summer morning weekday visit. Both play structures have a little bit of covering from the sun, and the ground is rubber. Overall, I felt like my toddler was very safe playing here and he seemed to enjoy himself checking out the different equipment. I did notice small bits of trash and empty water bottles on the ground, but just picked them all up and placed them in the trash can and recycling bin provided. The adjoining community center was open during our visit, so we went inside for the bathrooms (very large and clean) and water fountain (the playground fountain is non-operational). Staff there was very nice. We will visit this park again!
Normally very quiet place to think for me. Today someone was blasting rap music bit normally very peaceful.
Fun skate park
The park itself is good. There is a skate park, hockey rink, playground. There was litter everywhere. No one seems to pick up after themselves at all even though there are trash cans very conveniently located.
Marsh creek doesnt just have skateboarding here I saw people doing tricks on bikes and skates but my favorite was being able to get some beautiful pictures of the flowers here.
Use to run here until, my knee said your done. It has a soccer and baseball field and a skate park. Great for family reunions or get together. The best part is the community center which has a lot of activities. I personally train capoeira there!
Great Nice place To unwindIs it a good place to meet friends?
Very hot but for the price it was ok
Nice size which includes lot of seats, with shared areas.the community center will house birthday parties, family reunions, etc. Very inviting.
Definitely one of my go to parks in the area, especially for my 2 yr old. Its clean, shady, and not too crowded. Im glad to see that they fixed that squeaky noise one of the attractions use to make. This park no longer keeps my 9yr old entertained.
It was relaxing, quiet, cleaning and very enjoyable.
My son loved this place. Its a good skate park, but there are adults there as well and some parents may be uncomfortable with that. I was not. I was also told it wasnt the best place to be after dark.
Great park, many activities, plenty of parking. Good place for birthday party or any events.
We a picnic there. Has plenty of parking and a community center.
Good old school free public skate park. Surface is old and rough but still a great park.
No signage for the multipurpose field, which is actually rather small, meaning it can only be used for one thing at a time, yet there is no schedule posted nearby. Laid out strangely.
Pretty good place to play hockey!
We had our family reunion here. Nice place to gather, & plenty of room!
Good place for family reunion and cheap
Its a great place for everything!!!
Great skate park! Came here with low expectations, but the pics dont do it justice! Good variety of obstacles, like bowl, ramp, grind, and stairs. Lots of space. I will return!
Good park, it is shared weekly at 4:10 by the community center by older children however I havent had any issue yet and they play okay with my four year old.
Hockey rink is trashed. Beer cans and graffiti everywhere. Wouldnt mind paying a bit for access if it means upkeep is kept up with. Lots of kids/adults decide to skateboard on the rink rather than the skate park and leave trash everywhere.
Fun for whole family.
Great hidden gem. Not very noticeable from the road so it’s not very busy. Play sets are in good condition too.
One of the few parks that has soccer field, in Raleigh parks need soccer fields not tennis courts that nobody use to
Its pretty fun
Great park good area
The big bowl is insane one of the best parks I ever rode.
Excelent place for walk with the family and you can have relax in everyday :) i am very happy with this place, and i used visited in weekend!
Nice park great amenities, free and low-cost classes
Love this park. Have gone here for over 30 yrs
Staff great with kids, lots of fun activities. well run and resources despite being one of the smaller parks in Raleigh.
Went here for the annual Skate4Life event. Had a lot of fun!
Wish they had more restrooms.
Love the park great near my neighborhood, Awesome to go after school!
Nice park with a good recreation center, baseball fields, skateboard park and other amenities.
Great skate park (no charge), as well as other fields, play areas, and a community center.
My child goes here for the before and after program and he loves it. I like it to but is on the pricey side
Needs more tables for visitors to sit and enjoy the sites
Nice skatepark
A very nice park, tucked away in East Raleigh. Has a baseball field, skate park, small gym, and full basketball court. Also hosts the raleigh parks pre and post care program for school.
Cute park. Attended a birthday party here and my little one enjoyed himself.
Didnt get an opportunity to visit inside the community center but looked nice.
This park has the only outdoor inline hockey rink. Everything was adequate until the skate park was built. After that, the hockey rink and shelter are almost unusable. Vandalism and negligence of public property have damaged the hockey rink, hockey nets, and hockey boards to a deplorable state. Bathrooms and water fountains are barely ever open or functioning. The City of Raleigh made a mistake when they decided to put the Hockey Rink and Skate Park together.
Cool skatepark.... you have to watch what kind of crowd is there at times.
Perfect for the family. They even have community programs, which shows that the State of NC is using Federal funds for the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Good for outdoor time and relaxation park
