Nice park. but Town of Raleigh doesnt support the bike park, which could be a lot better and bring in more money if they worked together
Two great playgrounds! One ages 2-5 the other 5 and up. The tennis courts are in good condition for a city park.
Great city park. Well maintained tennis courts too!
Nice playgrounds and good trees for climbing.
Good fields to play on. Could have bigger bleachers.
This facility has 8 tennis courts and the courts are in good shape. Based on what day and what time you show up will determine the experience. I have played there before where it is peaceful and calm and all of the courts are open BUT I have played there on days where the BMX track (right next to it) is in full swing and there are locals that walk through the courts and the facility is really busy. Some people may not like to play here just due to the location. If you need a place to play and you usually have a hard time finding courts then I recommend Lions Park. But be sure to bring your own water!
Very nice area. Was visiting a friend.
The bmx track is the best place to take a kid to introduce them to something other than standard organized sports. They have rental bikes and helmets for anyone interested in trying it out as well. Just make sure to wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt to aid in protection in the slight chance you or your child may fall.
I came here as a child, then with my own boys when they were children. It still is family oriented and safe!! The bike trails are fun and challenging.
Really cool BMX Trail Park is nice. My kids loved it.
Clean, nicely landscaped facility with tennis courts and dirt bike trails as well as playground equipment surrounded by a lovely tree lined neighborhood.
Nice park peaceful
Both the indoor and outdoor basketball courts are great to use. Make sure you have an ID if you want to play indoors.
We had a wonderful visit to the Lions Park playground this afternoon. The whole play area sits in a grove of mature trees, so it is considerably cooler than the other parks we frequent even though it is June. Each section of the Lions playground (2-5 area, sandbox/beach section, and big kids area) has comfortable benches for the grown-ups to rest on while they supervise the kids, and all the play areas have that soft squishy turf around the equipment. Most of the kids ran around barefooted while they played.Four different ethnic groups came by while we were at the park, which I think indicates a very healthy, strong park. Many visitors came from the park athletic fields, looking for something to do while parents or siblings played basketball or softball. I s pleased to see that all the kids got along well with one another. No bullying, nitpicking, or arguing. A few people had dogs, but they were leashed and clearly kid-friendly.All in all, we really enjoyed an idyllic afternoon. If you are looking for a cool place to play and dont want to fight the crowds at Pullen, I highly recommend that you try Lions Park. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!
Played pickleball there for the first time, excellent lighting, roomy and the floor was in great shape.
So Many GREAT Memories There
Tennis courts are in pretty good shape, and the rec center is clean and new inside.
Good clean park. Restrooms were updated and decent parking
My daughter loves it, and its walking distance from my house, just wish they did classes in the rec center.
Took my kids there yesterday and it brought back so many memories when my cousin and I used to play there as children. They are doing a lot of renovations but the BMX track, baseball and basketball courts are still there. The neighborhood around it have changed dramatically. It used to be rough back in the 90s. The playground is awesome with tall trees and shaded areas so it doesnt get too hot. May consider buying a house there soon.
Beautiful park with lots of things to do
Was my first time here it is very nice and neat they keep the grounds really clean I love the volleyball pits great for kids
Its alway a blast to take my little girls here. Its like an outdoor YMCA. Playgrounds, basketball court, baseball tennis and more. No to many shades areas but still enjoyable.
Good, quiet park, well maintained.
Beautiful there very quiet
I dont know much about this park but I ride by it a lot. I have been here for baseball which seems like the main commodity really but overall they have good amementies and it is a very secluded park.
Nice park there is a BMX track that is really nice. Baseball fields tennis court. Playground.
There needs to be shade at the bmx track otherwise this is a great place
Awesome cyclocross venue.
Heaven for active kids and a release for their parents :)
Great place for a walk around with a dog, kind of sketchy at night though.
Nice park . The trees give a nice of shade.
Great Parks Kelsey for the kids
No place to buy water, drinks or food. Brought out a community water jug with a spout. NO bathroom!!! Portable John that was NASTY!!!
Great tennis park.
Never been here, Hey google... If your gonna follow me, at least get it rite..
So close to my home. My son loves playing on the playground here.
Great BMX track ... they take care of it well!
The gym is under construction and theres not enough swings for three or more kids to swing on, the tables under the shed are horrible. The bathrooms are out of date. Theres dog matter in the grass everywhere.
It would be so amazing if the bathrooms were open!
It was nice to see people playing kick ball! I havent played in over 50yrs!
We visited for the first time a couple weeks ago. Its a nice and quiet park. Only thing--we had to walk a country mile to get to the restrooms in the community center because the outdoor restrooms were closed for winter. It was a long walk with my two year old and a full bladder.
Cool place very chill
People enjoying it
Nice place to take the kids to play and relax..
Its a nice place to ride my bike
Nice place to walk
Good place to just relax spend some time outside
We met and played soccer on one of the baseball fields, and it was really good. Pretty park.

What a great Park tennis courts playground they said dog park but I couldnt find the fenced-in area.
Great park for the family. Nice and clean.
Bmx
Great Baseball field #4
I had a very bad time at the park. There were kids smoking weed, playing rude music and cursing at each other. I went in to talk with the staff. And I was told that there was nothing they could do. Because by the time the police come they would be gone. I ask the staff, how could you have all these after school programs. And can not provide a safe environment for them. The city really needs to investigate, this park. If your providing a service to the public, better yet our children. It should be in a safe environment, away from drugs and violence.
The restrooms are locked; no running water. Lots of parking.
Great tennis courts. that is only reason i go but lots of different sporting activities there.
Great experience! There were some great aromas from there too.
Great playground area, separated out for 2–5 year olds and 5–12 year olds. My son isnt yet 2, but still was able to use the playground with supervision and he LOVED it. The equipment is new, clean, and age appropriate. I was surprised there werent more kids here on a Saturday afternoon. I can tell well come here often.
This neighborhood park has a lot of great things going for it- BMX track, plenty of tennis/softball/b-ball facilities. Relatively new playground.Parks department needs to renovate the picnic shelter, however. The picnic shelter has seen better decades.
Great park
Community friendly
Greats sports field. Plenty of parking.
Though I often play tennis here the courts have cracks and are crumbling in places. The nets are fine as are the lights. I have had a couple of instances of being harrassed from neighborhood kids once to the point that we got in car and left. Most times its fine and courts are certainly playable. Ps... this is all in reference to the tennis courts.
Great place to play ball, walk around, do anything really. Theres also a sweet bmx track.
Nice play stuff.Odler kids use it as a trashcan. Used condoms and fast food trash everywhere.
Great park with athletic fields, a nice play ground and a good community center building. Lots of shade and the restrooms were very clean!
Love the tennis courts...quiet and always clean...great play area and grilling area for families. Plenty of activities and has a bike track and a baseball field.
Nice quiet park for dinner
Hate it period .
Love it. Has baseball and community center there.
A great park who has a lot of activities for all ages
Great Park, basketball is OK, but great tennis courts. Theres also a BMX track, a playground and a lot of open green spaces
My kid does bmx here. Its a nice park.
1st time there. And last. My wife and I are playing tennis, and 7yr old daughter watching us. Group of neighborhood kids comes by, 2 of them starting a fight with each other in the middle of our court... another kid takes my daughters bike and chucks it over the fence! So sad.
My son loves it we walk there all the time
Good place to go with the family and enjoy some time with the kids at the playground
Good place to play tennis. It also has a MTB track.
Complete chaos. Need RPD there to at least direct traffic and parking. People parked anywhere and everywhere
Watch the parents there over rated its a kids park .
Great playgrounds. Great shading for summer.
Great multi use park. Still has a BMX race track.
Nice quiet park to walk through with my dog. Basket ball court, tennis courts, BMX track and baseball fields.
Good place to take your kids to have fun
Nice clean and quiet
Beautiful park. Great venue for sports especially cycling
Kids loved it..

Checkout Raleighs only BMX track in the park. Opens at least once a week for practice and Sunday for racing. Find CCBMX on Facebook and Instagram
