This Zoo was so much fun! Its small but so very perfect. There was like no one there. We went on a Monday. Masks are not required to walk around. Just inside the gift center. The animals were so close and they were walking around. We even saw some eating their lunch. It was a neat zoo. We took our stroller and it was great. Some dirt and some paved areas. Splash pad and a few little play areas. My kids had a blast and we stayed for 3 hours.

This place was wonderful to visit. It is so clear that everyone that works there truly cares for the animals there. The animals look happy and the grounds were very well kept. Every animal there has a story and we are so thankful that places like Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary are around the help. The staff was also so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. If you are in the area it is so worth the trip!

We went to the Heritage Park Zoo and, to be honest, it wasnt the biggest zoo Ive ever been to by far but it was really nice. Easy going, not a ton of people to contend with, and we got to take our sweet time without feeling like we were holding up the line. So if youre looking for the crème de la crème, this isnt it. But if youre looking for a zoo with chill vibes that you can see the animals pretty darned close, that the family would like (there is a nice little playground by the entrance/exit for the kiddos as well), its definitely worth checking out.

Heritage Park Zoo was wonderful! Well kept zoo with a fun variety of animals. The lemers and brown bear were so fun to watch! Friendly staff that really wanted to tell about the animals and answer questions. The animals are a safe distance away but also close to watch and find. Fun farm animal area for the kids with play ground. Also, another play area near the front with grass that was great for my kids. Lots of picnic tables throughout the zoo for lunch or just a snack. I highly recommend it! My kids loved it and my kids range 4 to 12!

This was really fun. I am from the UK but was visiting a friend in Prescott. It is a small zoo but had a really good selection of animals, some of which are native to the local area. We got to see the keeper feeding the Mountain Lion and the Clouded Leopards and she was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions about them. This is a nice, half day activity if youre in the area.

So sad they lost Cassie the Tiger this year, she was our favorite, and will be greatly missed! This place always holds great events for the kiddos, and the staff are always friendly and do not mind educating you on the animals they tend to. Only thing I wish they had was concessions. Very great deal for admission, as you get to be so close to the animals! You can tell their animals are loved and cared for, as they do not seem to mind people much.

Any time my daughter and I visit Prescott we make it to Heritage Park. We easily spend an hour and a half walking around talking to all the animals. We love reading and hearing about each of there stories. As my kiddo says, This place renews our faith in humanity because they do what is right for each pet. We are clearly animal lovers and enjoy seeing how each team member knows all the animals names and stories. Each team member is so friendly, kind and helpful. We love Heritage Park and are thankful for all the fantastic care they give to each individual animal. Thank you for all you do!
