Its a pile of rocks with graffiti. Nice grassy park and it does echo. Kids love climbing all over the rocks but I had a hard time and so did my Pomeranian dog. I think bigger dogs would slip on the rocks too.
Had a great time with my youngins here. They got some great rock hopping practice, which day are new to but this provides a perfect arena; while giving the constant fun and enjoyment of banging on giant geodes! We started out by rough lining a path to a destination point in the rock field they felt they could reach. They picked one of the large rocks with painting on it that provided a great picnic site.
Interesting if you like geology. Fun stop for kids. Bring a hammer.
Its a big boulder field. Bring a hammer to bang on the rocks.
Just a few rocks in a pile, they do make a ringing sound. Dont go to far out of your way to hear it. People in the area seem nice. The lady in the skate park not so nice.
Good for 1-time visit if your around the area .Its very small area with a pile of rocks, Kids liked it since the rocks really ring. Remember to carry a hammer . There are no information signs its just opposite to Roller skate park.
Just ok. Cool place for kids to explore and climb all over the rocks. You can hit the rocks with a hammer to hear the different sounds, but that gets old quick lol.
The phenomenon of a musical rock is fascinating and this is an easy access from the parking lot. There is a small loop trail which leads to a small waterfall. Not paved trails.
Love this place. The rocks are really cool and the trail is really nice.
Nice quiet little spot
