I go there all the time. Its a big park where you can go jogging, play basketball, soccer, disc golf, and other stuff. Its not just a flat park, like a lot of other parks. The terrain changes all the time. With a lot of trees and other plants it has a lot of nice shade. It also has a dope skate park.

This place is easily one of my favorite parks in Portland. It is also, objectively one of the best parks. It has an 18-hole disc golf course that weaves its way through mostly forested sections of the park (challenging but very fun); a decent skate park with a mostly laid back group of people showing up (Ive seen veteran skaters show a lot of patience and kindness with newbies and kids, even offering advice and support a number of times); a basketball court, multiple playgrounds, baseball field, walking trails, a nice combination of forested and open grassy areas. Really, this park is great! The show Grimm has even filmed scenes at this park.

Pier park is a place for the whole family. You will find ball fields, a skate park, a play ground, a disk golf course, and lots of running paths all throughout the park. Visited for Disc Golf. Not an experienced played but had a good timeThe Disc Golf baskets were down on my visit, but someone had put sticks in the post holes.Relatively difficult to find some of the next holes, so we ended up going slightly out of order. The park gets very muddy so avoid visiting post-rain if thats an issue.Ive heard crowds can be a major issue as well, though didnt see them on my weeknight, Covid Times visit.

Another gem of Portland, Pier Park covers a large area and provides space for a number of activities. The park includes 3 baseball diamonds, an 18 hole disc golf course, a swimming pool(open in summer only for $5 per person), a playground, and loads of little areas to hang out in the woods. There is a tennis court hidden in the forest, but it appears unkempt and Ive never seen the nets up.The city recently installed some very nice public restrooms that are handicap accessible. Garbage is at a minimum in this park, and because of its location in the peninsula the park is rarely busy.

A Portland classic for disc golf. Excellent course with a great blend of challenging yet rewarding holes with good shot control. Pins all have flags directing you towards the next hole which is always a plus. Good year round course as it can be played even in the rain due to the coverage from the tall trees on almost every hole.

My favorite park in Portland, hands down. Disc golf, splash pads and pool, big playground for the kids, picnic table areas and covered structures for parties, walking paths everywhere, tennis courts, and a great skate park to boot. All of this is set within a Doug Fir forested area that is lush. Great way to get out of the heat and sun in summer.

Ci

Has multiple softball field, 2 tennis courts, and many picnic areas. Although my favorite attraction of Pier Park is the 18 hole disc golf course. Few disc golf courses are in heavily wooded areas like Pier Park. Many of the holes look very simple, 350 ft on a very straight drive. The complication is the corridor of trees you must precisely navigate. Fun times.

One of the only places in Portland to play disc golf. And it just so happens that the course is one of the better ones in the state. The park has soccer, baseball, basketball,a skate park, a walking path, a wading pool for the warm summer days, and the disc golf course. The course has a practice basket right next to the roundabout that people park at. Course has great concrete tee pads, multiple pin locations on each hole, and MachX baskets that are painted yellow. The course is tough. Most holes are 300+ feet long throwing through a plethora of beautiful trees. Quite a few holes have elevation in play. Overall this course is a must play if you are in the Portland area.
