Such a pretty spot to walk along the beach. We had tons of fun skipping stones and playing in the sand. Tons of parking which is helpful. Not very accessible for those who are unable to walk over rocks as that is how we got to the water on the north side.

We went while it was approaching high tide. I used to live here years ago and I feel like this place has a pretty unqiue scent and feel to it. Lots of birds in the water. I remember back then also seeing crabs, seals, and whales. Be prepared to climb over huge rocks if you plan to cross to the ocean side, some parts are a bit unnerving but its great fun. On the calm side of the waters, theres a house off in the distance with a huge USA in their front yard, if you have binoculars try to see it!

Awesome place to grill a hit dog in the tail gate, read a book or beach comb, a good but of parking and beach line to explore given such a small outcropping.Dont be put off when you drive through the paper mill, just keep going a bit further, well worth the visit.

A wonderful detour as we headed to the Hoh Rainforest. Kids wondered if we could see Canada, and yes we could on the day we were there. It was neat exploring the rocks and waterfront. Saw a lot of fishermen on their way out to go catch something. Saw some Cats nearby and food stations I guess for those cats. Someone was adding food and water. Must be to keep the rat population down.

The description is very misleading. This is a pothole parking lot along the long strip of rockery built to make the shipping port. Its an industrial area. Definitely not rugged nor serene but yes you can see the mountains, sea and islands, like you can from many places. At least its something along the water with free parking. I have no idea how this is a reservation for birds.

This place is amazing. If youre a local, its a great place to take lunch to and eat on the beach. If youre a tourist, its a must-see for Port Angeles. I grew up coming here on little trips with my parents and plan to continue doing so with my own kids.

Based on other reviews, we decided to go here thinking it would be a nice natural reprieve and it is a concrete monstrosity with nice views back to the peninsula and across the water to Canada. The spit itself is not very nice at all.

I have enjoyed Ediz Hook for many yearsHowever, the amount of trash on the beach is a sad downside of this area.My girlfriend and I picked up trash for 6+ hours, and only made it about a half mile along the beach before running out of trash bags and sunlight. If you visit Ediz Hook, or any other beach.....Please take a trash bag and show some appreciation to the planet that gives us EVERYTHING we have.

Great place for a stop, walk, or have a day out on the water. Cool place to stop and see the views! But I have one very major issue... if this is a bird sanctuary, who thought it would be a good idea to feed the feral cats?Where is the humain Society or Fish & Game? Not only are the cats being fed, some idiots are housing them.Highly disappointed about that.
