This is a short but impressive trail that loops around. It can be walked in 15 minutes but youd be crazy to not slow down and enjoy all the things there are to see and notice. Everywhere you look is another interesting view. Parking is right along the road and you step right onto the trail. Within moments you are transported into another place. While the road is still nearby, the trail is laid out in a way that you dont see the road. Also you dont see the other people on the other parts of the trail as it twists and turns and rises and falls.

LOVED the plant life on this hike. So amazing. Note.... This hike was posted as a loop but its a point to point. We popped out of the trail and totally thought our car had been towed/stolen. Realized we were about 1/4 mile north of where we parked/entered the trail

This half mile loop is such a jewel! Within the first 50 feet from the trailhead, youre in this magical dense forest of various ferns ground cover, lichen looking mossy covered trees, birds singing. You forget youre literally just a few yards from the Sol Duc roadway. I highly recommend this short easy loop! It is filled with so much diverse plant life and landscapes in such a short nature walk!

This is a beautiful and well-maintained trail. It is an easy to hike loop that takes about 20 -30 minutes to walk. We saw a small black bear here during our trip.

Amazing short trail that loops in the middle of 750 old trees. Easy to miss, very limited parking on the side of the road.

The national park service does a good job with trails. This is no exception. Two parking lots, no toilets. The trail starts next to the sign and is an easy loop with huge trees, two ponds, walking an overhang and great river views. Easy hiking for everyone and the kids loved it. We even hugged a few trees. Enjoy!

A bit different than other things youll see in the area. A nice overlook down to the river, and lots of mossy trees. A half mile loop.
