Evidence of homeless people leaving trash. Appears to be a congregating location resulting in abuse of the locations. Very unfortunate for such a symbol.

While staying in Port Angeles I discovered this nice park on a long walk. I liked the way it steps down to the water and provides a connection to the harbor front trail. I also saw a colorful variety of large cargo ships anchored off shore.

Has a pretty nice view. Park is kind of dirty. Don’t follow maps down that narrow road tho!

Johnathon Laine says this park is by far the safest, serene, and beautiful parks in the Pacific Northwest. Therefore his research and a knowledgeable perspective of the area has made this edit perfect thanks. . . Mr. Laine for your love of this county and city.

This area is a memorial site designed for residents & tourists but it has become a homeless camp. The homeless use the gazebo as a home.

Dont drive past the small parking area. It appears that there may be more parking down a narrow drive. NOT! Maybe 1 spot and then you have to back out an uphill winding drive. Tough task in a truck.

A nice serene site. A quiet place to remember lost ones. The 9-11 memorial is a somber remembrance of that horrible day. Once you move on amazing views of the harbor. Great place to go for a walk.

Francis St Park offers waterfront paved paths that are nice for walking, jogging and bike riding. No restrooms or water fountain. Nice views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. I have been here a handful of times and always see bums. Makes me feel unsafe. Dont go here after dark. I dont think its the safest place and suspect drug activity in the vegetation.

As a New Yorker, it deeply touches me to see such a beautiful memorial here for all those touched by the events of 9/11. Thank you, Port Angeles.

Very clean, great picnick areas, panoramic view of the harbor and Ediz Hook. Two main downsides are the limited parking (around 15 parking spots at most), as well as a VERY slanted access hill (estimate 45° angle) that leads down to the water trail and a tiny sand beach that should not be attempted to visit with small children due to a VERY unofficial side trail that leads to it...however, makes it an ideal spot for fishing off shore! If you found this post/photos fulfill the requirements for what you generally look for in a review, please be kind and let me with a . Looking forward to have helped!
