Ive been using this trail for over 40 years. Nowadays I usually just walk the lower couple of miles. It is a beautiful shady trail in good condition. It has some fine views of Scout Mountain. Except for the Elk Meadows area, the trailside has been closed to livestock grazing for 75 years, a rare treat in this country. It has a large parking area. On weekends in June and September, the best seasons, it can be a bit too crowded. It connects to several other trails in its upper portion.
It was a great ride today. So pretty
Baby Moose!!! Ok, ok, juvenile. Just Awesome!
Great walk for families
Nice trail!
Great trail, medium shade, not too busy usually.
Great place to go when it is hot since it is well shaded. I went early and didnt see many people until I was coming down, but Ive heard it gets crowded. I missed the trail I wanted to go on birthday, but I know where it went wrong so Ill hit it next time. If you do elk meadows, I recommend going counter clockwise.
It was pretty icy today. Sunny areas were muddy. Just need to wait for a warmer day, or when its all snowed over.
Fun trail with gradual climb... Recommended to go up West Fork and come down Corral Creek...
Google is stupid. It was a trailhead, not a taco truck.
Perfect place thats close to pocatello, but still allows you to get back to nature!
Great
