Great trail to ride. Sunny and shady spots, lots of benches and a good paved trail. Just wish it was longer.

Walked up on a Deer and her fawn Sunday evening after a beautifully brief rain storm. Wow what a walk. Got some great photos. It was neat to photograph the Deer. To my surprise she did not run (the deer) but allowed me to take some photos. Sunset was beautiful as well. Enjoy the photos. Love this area!Some photos of the deer maybe a bit blurry. I was so shaky. This was my first time being so close to a Deer and fawn in its own habitat. We like walking this area with our dog, we went this day with small children. Cyclist have been an issue in the past, but rather than announcing their approach they go through the kids and then swear at us. These werent kids, but 30 yo adults. They should:Slow downAnnounce their approachThis group blasted through our group twice

Sacajawea park is a real Pocatello gem! Clean pathway that winds around marked points with fun interpretive signage. This was a real treat when I biked this portion of the freeway trail with my wife last week.

Nice path to walk, run, skateboard, bike, ect on. Benches provide around the plath and a variety of wildlife including various waterfowl and occasionally deer.

Nice walking path. I was super impressed with the fact that walking path was plowed! I wore my hiking boots expecting to be walking on snow and ice. But 99% of the path was free from ice and snow!

Its a peace full outdoors place that is close theres trees, the river, animals.and nice trails to walk on with my grandchildren . we saw ducks . swans. Geese, and a deer all in less than an hour

I love this park, its peaceful, there are paved trails that follow along the portneuf river. There is plenty of wildlife everywhere. You can feed the ducks and sit at the benches enjoying the river. I go to this park regularly, it is a gem.

Wonderful place to spend time outdoors! Paved pathways to walk and bike. Fishing here is fun, but Ive mostly only caught carp. The trout are quite timid.

An oasis from the city noise. Beautiful ducks and geese (spoiler, poop everywhere) even saw a doe eating leaves...

We used to live a block away from trail, most parts are beautiful, love the trees, and ducks, however, the river is very dirty, being from Montana, we know what clean water looks like, and portneauf definatly doesnt compare,

Great Park and theres miles that you can walk and see different animals plants trees and water.

It would have 5 stars but if your dont keep your eyes open you might run into a rattle snake, other than that they have great walk ways plenty of ducks to feed, an of your eyes are open by the river you may even see a beaver.

Sacajawea Park is a beautiful place. Just a little road noise. But well worth it.

This is a beautiful and family friendly trail to take a quick walk or to meander and enjoy nature. A short walk or bike ride to the river and the geese and ducks will come flocking over for bread. We see all sorts of critters along the river and the kids like to go up on the bridge, walk the trail to Raymond park to play, and climb on the big boulders depending on how much time we have. Our favorite Sunday afternoon destination in Pocatello.
