Great little museum with a ton of information, the staff was friendly and informative. The buffalo had just had her calf a few days before my visit and he is just adorable. they also had a wall of cattle brands used by the native Americans.

The small museum has exhibits featuring Shoshone tribal history, Chief Pocatello, old historical photographs of the area from 1895, artifacts from the Old Fort Hall and unique Native American beadwork—all from the local tribal point-of-view. The museum store offers a variety of Native American books, music, calendars, tribal artwork and beadwork. The attendant was quite friendly and answered my many questions inspired by the exhibits. Four stars only that the museum is small and there is a modest charge—given the proximity to the casino across the road it should be free to inspire more people learn about the native people of this region.
