Very interesting exhibits of the history and culture of the Shoshone and Bannock people. Thank you so much for such an instructive and educational experience. Keep up the good work.
A very neat little museum. The lady that was working there the day we went was so friendly and informative. We loved visiting with her.
I love this place would love to have more time here when passing threw it’s a great place to stop. Definitely going to plan a trip just to stay a night or two.
Great muesem! The woman at the front talked about the history of the tribe. It was really fascinating. Getting to see Honey the buffalo was neat as well. Really informative and super experience. Thank you for making this available.
A must see place. If you have the opportunity to stop in do so. Lots to see. Even has a real Buffalo named Honey.
Suppose to open at 11. Got there at 11 n waited awhile and still closed. Walked around back to see the bison and there wasnt one
Absolutely Beautiful . This is an amazing place . Love to the native Americans you can also visit with a real Buffalo who lives on the grounds
Great history shared
Was a great historical place, glad we stopped.
Very informative. Enjoyed!
Nice place! There was an alive Bison behind the museum
Nice informative museum with Honey, an orphaned Bison in the back yard.
Amazing stuff to show the world! Thank you!
Small but well done. Very informative.
Interesting museum to know about Fort Hall reservation and Shoshone and Bannock tribes
Friendly manager
The small museum has exhibits featuring Shoshone tribal history, Chief Pocatello, old historical photographs of the area from 1895, artifacts from the Old Fort Hall and unique Native American beadwork—all from the local tribal point-of-view. The museum store offers a variety of Native American books, music, calendars, tribal artwork and beadwork. The attendant was quite friendly and answered my many questions inspired by the exhibits. Four stars only that the museum is small and there is a modest charge—given the proximity to the casino across the road it should be free to inspire more people learn about the native people of this region.
Very nice, do see!
