Solid park for kids of all ages. One of the structures is great for kids 3+, however, sections of it are closed off for repairs. The other is for the younger kids.

Big park in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of space to run, walk, picnic and play area for kids. Its very near and am awesome park overall.

Held my grandsons 2nd birthday there last year. They have picnic areas and even trees to hang the pinata from. Clean bathroom. And the water area was refreshing for young and old alike. Highly recommended.

Great fields! When you first see them, you think its turf. Once you get closer its a great cut of grass!

I always love going to the skatepark to just scooter around with my family.

We needed to kill some time, this park isnt amazing but if you have some little kids they could probably entertain themselves for 30 - 45min . Bathroom is pretty clean, there are some picnic tables and BBQs, not sure if they are first come first serve or if they need a reservation. No playground area for bigger kids but theres plenty of grass where they could play ball games.

A nice park that has plenty of tables. It can get a little windy in the afternoon. Theres a water park for the kids.

I have been coming to Val Vista Park since its inception. Its a jewel of the Val Vista development with its impeccably kept green fields; hard areas for skaters, and nice picnic facilities for families and groups. The amenities continue to unfold with the childrens play area including slides, swings and its ever popular water features. The thought of having assigned garden patches for our local amateur green thumbs was a brilliant idea. Zucchini and tomatoes abound !Idont believe there has been a time when all the plots were under utilized. The explosion of colors and textures catch your eye as you continue to stroll by on your walk towards the Zen garden and the meandering connecting paths.

Love to bring my dog and let her run off some energy! Fetch is her preferred game.

Brought our young kids here on this weekday morning for the first time because of the good reviews. It turned out to be the worst park experience. Some weird (at least weird, if not crazy) men out there. We saw at least three. One was taking off his pants. One was screaming and eventually came to the slide and play. The other one came up to me and asked if we use recycle bag?? It was awkward! All middle-aged men! It all happened within 10 minutes after we got there. And they acted weird near the kids playground. Not a safe environment for kids. I had to drag my kids to car and leave that place as soon as we could. If these people did have special needs, I didn’t see any care takers nearby to watch and help. Middle-aged man taking off the pants or screaming in the kids playground is too extreme for general public to take.

Pretty sweet place. Has a skatepark on North end and playground on South with at least 3 or 4 acres of grass connecting the two. Kids love the water Jets and bathrooms are clean.

Good park, but in an odd location. This park features a roller hockey rink, skate park, a few soccer fields, a general group picnic area, and a park.The odd location part is that its right next to a water facility, which produces some pretty fowl smells..

Skatepark is very open with a circle bowl, 2 spines one being curved, 2 rails, 3 ledges, a pyrmaid, a five stair, and good people!!

Pretty much right off the freeway. Great parking with a skate park, soccer field, kiddie playground (with water spouts) and most important bathrooms that are clean.

Disappointed we couldt use the soccer field although it was empty. Also, there was somekind of weird gathering of people who didnt make us feel safe. Unfortunately not going to this park again with my children.

Beautiful clean park with lots of walking and big fields

We had an awesome time at this park! We went all the way to the back this time and we had no idea that there was another playground at the other end of the park!!! Kids loved it!!! Also take your own soap. Wish they would put soap dispensers in the restrooms.

Best skatepark in the area

Flat and easy path way roller skating ring along with scoccer and baseball fields. They also have many play structure and a.water park for the kids ranging in age. Very nice community garden. A really nice wandering path that is occasional covered with trees and drinking fountains along the way. Bathroom are clean and tidy

These fields are what soccer fields should be. GREAT, grass not turf. Kept close to perfect. A very nice soccer complex. It sits next to a water treatment plant, so it gets the smell once in awhile from it.

Has everything for a kid - park, picnic area with lot of benches, big play structure, water play area for kids. The only bad thing there is a nearby sewage plant or so causing frequent stink.

Would be a 5 if the people who planned this place had not placed a park next to a water treatment plant; in other words, it smells horrid, but you dont notice it as much once youre here for a short period.Two locations on either side of the soccer field. One with a smaller play-gym and the other with a more larger play gym and water The smaller has a swing set and water set.

Great play area. Its clean. There are bathrooms. No bums. BUT water treatment plant is next door and you get a wiff from time to time.

If you play there in the summer when its hot, be prepared for some odors. The fields are adjacent to a Pleasanton water treatment facility. After 3 days of this at a tournament, its a bit noxious. Also, and especially for tournaments, parking is not ample, so leave buffer in your schedule, so you have time to poach a spot. The upshot is that fields are always green and well manicured and maintained. And, access from highway 680 is easy with good short access to shopping and food.

Perfect place for the kids. Different areas with water to play in.

Rock climbing for 3 years and up. Great water park with large flowing stream. Several ponds for playing in. Theres a community garden around the back. Only major downside here is that on a hot day, the waste water treatment plant can be very off putting since its right behind the park.

We really enjoy going to this park, especially because we discovered the other end of it!!!

Update: the main mens restroom (near the soccer fields) now has a soap dispenser. It only took 2 months after my complaint. Very nice park for walking. There are soccer fields (by reservation only) a skatepark and a roller hockey rink as well as picnic areas. The mens restrooms lack soap dispensers. Seems kinda odd that every other park in Pleasanton that Ive visited has soap in the bathrooms but this one doesnt. (The lack of soap in the restrooms cost a star in my rating).

Plenty of parking, well maintained area. Great for walks and Pokemon quests with your family.
