Love this hike. Parking is readily available during the week. It gets a little busier on weekends. Shady until you reach the top. Then you have so many choices!Saw a mountain lion 1 Dec 2020

Nice trail. Theres a lot of incline but it does have flat areas as well. Once you reach the top there are more trails to follow. Takes me between 40-50 mins depending on my pace for the day. Also you get a great view of the valley once youre at the top.

I am not a glutton for punishment, and starting a hike that goes immediately uphill is not fun for me, but totally worth the cardio workout and the amazing view of the Pleasanton valley near 680. The trail is well marked and well kept, just dont park anywhere that you can be towed if you dont leave in time.

2milea each way. Easy to make longer if you like but 2 miles to the ridge. Starts off fairly steep and gets sightly less steep. I would say it is more of a moderate hike not a super easy one todo with kids. Nice views of the city.

We live in Pleasanton and love this hike. It starts off steep but levels off into a more gradual climb. You get great views of Pleasanton and Dublin along the way and Mt . Diablo from the top. The round trip is 4 2 mi and the elevation gain is 1000ft. Hiking at a moderate pace this can be done in under 2hrs. The hike is well shaded and I like to go up mostly in the late afternoon or early evening.

If you want a good outdoor workout in Pleasanton/Dublin area, this is the place to hike! 1000 feet of almost continuous climb 2 miles one-way on Courdet trail. Lots of trees. Restrooms and water fountain at start of trail.

Its a bit of an uphill incline at the start but nice panoramic views of Pleasanton when you get to the top. We prefer this hike compared to nearby Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park. Theres less people, a lot more shade and trees and just overall vegetation compared to Pleasanton Ridge. If open hills are you thing, Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park down the street is better but if you want to see something other than dead dry hillsides, some actual vegetation and trees with a decent amount of shade, IMO this place is preferred.

Big views of Pleasanton & Livermore for little investment of time on this 2 mile hike up on packed dirt of hilly terrain with plenty of shade.

Medium difficulty. About half as steep and half as long as mission peak but still a good view at the top. The first 10 percent is really steep the rest is not bad.
