Beautiful course with challenging setup throughout. Lots of elevated tee boxes. Greens were sneaky quick. Was a beautiful hot day. Pace was great started at 1150 and finished before 4. I usually walk but cart is highly recommended here. Especially if its warm. This course used to be closed to only Alameda county residents from what I heard, so if youve never been I highly suggest playing here ! Payed 65$ a person with cart via golfnow
One of the best maintained public courses. Also, very good Covid-19 procedures.
Course is fun to play, in decent shape.. lots of target golf, you can find lots of trouble, lots of bunkers in middle of fairways.. unacceptable 5 1/2 hour round on a Tuesday.. Wheres the marshal???
Fun and challenging course. First time we played it and we enjoyed ourselves. The greens rolled very consistently which is always nice.
A really fun course to play. Fairways are wide but the greens are challenging. Beautiful views. A good golfing experience.
Very fun course with interesting twists. Friendly staff! Will definitely play there again...
Amazing course loved it not an easy course if your looking for a challenge this course is for you
Great deal they have going on for the first hour of sunlight! $25 with coffee and breakfast cant beat it. The course is kept in great shape in light of the dry conditions California has. Their rental set was better than my own lol. Shot a great round and would definitely come back the next time Im in the Bay Area.
Callippe Preserve is and extremely well kept and well run golf club. The course is in excellent shape and everyone on the staff is kind and welcoming. If you haven’t yet, you must come and check out Callippe Peeserve!
Outstanding course and staff.
Course is in great shape. Greens putt true.
Best public course in the area.
Challenging and very scenic golf course!
Callippe is a real nice muni, maybe the nicest municipal course in the East Bay? Super fun to play, they also a decent sized range & nice putting green. I found the staff to be very kind & really appreciated the sense of community in the Vista restaurant with the regulars and staff. All in all not a bad place to spent time at.
This is a great public course with a nice layout and great scenery. Course was wet but it is winter and still in great shape. Challenging greens and you have to place a lot of shots
Tough course particularly on the back 9, but its still a great play. Should only walk this course if you are really fit AND a good player or you will struggle and slow everyone down to a crawl. Beautiful course and well maintained.
My daughters wedding was held at. Callippe and it was beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The food was outstanding! It was an all around perfect venue!!
Nature at its finest. Amazing view. Awesome place for weddings and special events
The course is always in great shape, the staff always friendly it’s worth the price, it’s a good test of your golfing skills
Course was in great shape, especially considering the time of year. Greens were punched a few weeks ago and a few were still bumpy. Will definitely be back. Great municipal course.
Course is in good shape.
Always wonderful and beautiful.
We came for a wedding not golf. The setting is gorgeous with rolling hills and oak trees. Its quiet and remote. The directional signs help but they could use a few more.
It is a 5 star if the greens are not bumpy. They need to be rolled or something.
Excellent track.
To be fair, Id give it 4.2. Well maintained. great landscape, greens are firm but will hold and roll true. Plays fair from the whites, challenge from the blues, havent dared the blacks. One of my favorite tracks in the Bay Area. Twighlight is a steal and pace of play hasnt been an issue through 4 rounds (all mid-week twighlight). Service has been great. Have not tried the food, so cant speak to it.
Great condition and all the staff was friendly. Will definitely come back again
Nice golf course, especial hole 18 very challenge.
I am going to be a wedding photographer here, checked venue pictures. I am going to wisit it soon.
Reasonable fee as the condition as always.
Well maintained. Challenging course. Friendly staff. Slow breakfast kitchen but no biggie.
Great course
Amazing course, got in for a great rate on a Sunday afternoon!
Fun tough course. Good times. Multiple blind shots.
Service outstanding.
Fun course and probably one of the better public courses around. Would be 5 star if the greens were faster and if pace of play actually existed there.
Its a beautiful challenging course, new carts with up to date navigation and yardage to hole screens.
Beautiful place, there is also a hike that goes around the golf, very easy amd family friendly, specially for kids
A very challenging and fun to play course!
Absolutely beautiful area, which is extended this amazing course. Its not the easiest to golf (there are a lot of hills), but its hard not to enjoy such a lovely place.
Good condition, some greens with lots of undulations.
Great condition, fast greens, computers in carts, beautiful holes / scenery...love this course!
I love this course because it offers excellent challenge for advanced players who have to navigate and plan out shots to score low. But its laid out where it gives intermediate players confidence if they can make something happen. Its a nice course to walk if youre in pretty good shape, the back nine being more challenging to walk. And the 19th hole? Well its pretty good.
Beautiful mountains view and the happening golf Course activities
Awesome for trekking. Most beautiful place, I recommend highly. Might get difficult with little kids
Must walk course! For me. Why bother, other wise.
- Played while there was a wedding going on. Really a beautiful couple; I wish them the best.- They paired me with a legend from San Ramon named Mike.- Mike sneezed while I was chipping on the first hole. Hey, hey, hey!- I almost drove the green on #2 with my mashie!!! I doubled; f@#!$%!!!- Mike nicked a couple of ronas from the wedding after a rough nine. Really turned it around after that.- Played like Brian Harmon on the back nine.- Good luck with #18; your only chance is to have that patented Schenone P-wedge backswing.- The pros usually deflect it off the fence on #14. Goo goo Gachoob!- It takes a lot of balls to play this course. In the bag and in the sack, if ya know what I mean!- Walking the back nine really activated the glutes; I think Im putting well- Its good to be back, boys; its good to back . . .
GREAT golf course, great eatery... join their preserve membership you get a box of pro v1 2 free rounds 10 buckets of balls and 5 free golf cart rentals. Plus other benes... well worth it! See Kyle, Jake, or Devon theyre the best.
Well maintained course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all great when I played.
Great track! A wonderful diversity in hole layouts with challenging greens. Not a course for the faint of heart!Ranks right up there with Silverado - maybe even better! Yes, better.Dan Randall
Great place for a wedding!
Challenging course overall fun to play
Greens were a bit slow but in great shape otherwise. Couple tee boxes need help because they are like hitting on a mound. Rest of course and clubhouse were fabulous.
Well maintained.. nice place to play
First time there went with 3 other couples. We all had a great time. Challenging for all levels. Greens in great shape fairways nice.
Beautiful course! Great shape
I have never been here, but it has a nice aura
I played golf for 2 years and love the terrain
My sister got married there and I was the groomsman
Great course. Test all your skills. Fairways and greens usually in great shape. 18th hole is a monster. Stay left after tee shot.
Its drive from the city but worth it. Great range. Good greens. Only complaint would be a couple par 5s make you take 3 shots. Other than that the course has a little bit of everything.
Great condition course and 4.5 hr round on Sunday...I will take that any day
Challenging but a fun course.
Great course.
Local favorite public course. Backside is the toughest of the nine.
Good food friendly staff and amazing views
The course is in great shape, and challenging as always. It is also a bargain. Come soon, but preferably not when I am there, too many people spoil the equation.
Tough and a little expensive yet good quality and fun-to-play course. 5/5
Golf course is in good shape. $39 for seniors with a cart is fantastic price
This place gets busy but is absolutely awesome
Great staff. Great course. Great time
Was a great course. Greens are true. Course is set up very well and gets harder as you get to the back side. Lots of undulating fairways and elevation changes
Beautiful, a golfing challenge you need to have
How could this course be bad when you get a hole-in-one on the 16th
Great course in Bay area.
Tough, but fun
Great round of golf, course was in good shape with enough challenges to keep it fun. Sand traps need some work though, like playing off of clay most of the time.
Course is in great shape and the green fees are very reasonable.
Very nice course, unfortunately a lot of bunker work. But tha.t should make it better.
Nice tight little course. $63 a person with cart. Not tooo bad on wallet. Club house bar was good !! Secret spot in Pleasanton. Went with some buddys and had a Great time !!Dave McWilliams
Was here for my 20 year high school reunion fast efficient and friendly service and staff
Wedding was perfect
Wonderful golf course in Pleasanton. The back 9, especially 18, was tough. We had a tee time of 11:30 AM and didnt run into any one else on the course until Hole No. 6 which was nice. The golf carts have GPS and their BBQ Tri-Tip sandwich is so good.
Not a bad golf course, but was a 5 hour round, even on a Thursday...a little too pricy (50.00USD) for a senior with a cart. I would play there again, but 5 hour round would would make think twice.
It took a while for me to like this course. Now, I consider it a regular in the rotation. The course plays much different from each set of tees. You can play one hole from the back tees and play aggressive and have to be conservative from one of the forward tees on the same hole. That makes it fun and still enjoyable to play with different skill levels. One thing I cant stand is that 2 of the par 5s are forced 3 shotters just because of their design, with a 3rd a maybe to include on that list. For that I knock it down to 3 stars.
One of the better courses in the East Bay for your money. Always in great shape.
Entertaining 18 hole course, easy access, nice staff. The pro shop has everything you need and the food and drinks are refreshing.
Though back nine but generally speaking a nice course.
Courses in the best shape in years a pleasure to play I cant wait to go back
Course in excellent shape. Always a pleasure to play on this beautiful course.
Tough course but enjoyable
Very nice and beautiful place...
