The dog park is awesome! Great size, very well maintained and kept. As long as poop is cleaned its perfect. Bags and trash is even provided. The water fountain is great for the dogs too. Only issue I have there is no shade really once inside the play area, otherwise its great.

The park is large and has a small pond and Rowlett Creek runs through it. There were quite a few bicyclists on the concrete trail even at 7:30 am on a Saturday. Luckily after crossing the bridge we found Creek Trail and enjoyed being in a shaded area.

Such a wonderful place to exercise, or just have a relaxing stroll around the beautiful lake. Well managed park.

This is a great park! It is very clean and very well maintained. They even have a very nice walking trail! There is a dog park there. They have a total of 5 sections; 3 for small dogs and 2 for big dogs. These sections are rotated out to keep everything nice and green. So there will be only two sections open at anytime. 1 for small dogs, 1 for big dogs.

Its clean and has a good atmosphere for picnicking and such. Seems to get a little crowded on nice days. Its nice living next to the park so I can pick and choose my days.

Absolutely beautiful park. Had lunch with the kids here. Then played at the playground. The. Walked 4 miles through the trail. Theres horses you can see at times. You can fish here too.

Here is a great place for the kids and adults who likes walking, biking or even fishing maybe. Just the restrooms are awful. The worst, messiest toilets I have ever seen in Dallas.

Nice community park. Sambal take with a little over quarter mile running track around perimeter. Lots of ducks, fish, and turtles.Plenty of trees for shade and a jungle gym for kids

I took my family here and had my wife see how long people have been here since my children do not like others playing with them. 3 teens on the swing set and my eldest was threatened to swing next to the tall girl next to the buckle swing. Overall good park, well kept, just needs more swings.

What a great park! Plenty of space and it even has an ocean! Exciting!

I love this park, its a great place for getting away from the city. However going during a holiday has become a pain. People leave trash and bottles everywhere, really destroys the space for people to enjoy. If you enjoy this place please help keep nature clean.

Great place for biking, walking, joking or picnic spot

Nice open park with playground, riding trails, walking trails, and fields to play in or shoot paper rockets.

Very peaceful place to walk your dog and bring your family out for a picnic. Locals seem very nice. The trails are leveled so no issues on feeling tired from multiple hills. Keep in mind not to feed the ducks. There are multiple signs about that. There is a school nearby that has access to a basketball court if you have BALLERS in the group.

Enormous park with plenty sunny and shaded areas. Go for a long walk or a decent bicycle ride and see some of the beautiful covered bridges

Really good dog park, the park is separated to accommodate dogs of all sizes and is large and spacious. The park is well maintained and a good place to take your dog.

Very large and clean park. Has everything from fishing walking, biking, volleyball, grilling. Well attended park. Balloon Fest was there but move to a park with more parking and better view.

Good open space for dogs to run. Wish owners would pick up their pets poo more consistently... the park provides plenty of bags and waste recepticles.

All the dogs are so well-behaved and you can tell just loved.and just the social gathering always feels good especially that these times. everybody up there are as kind as their love is love

The dog park is great! Putting a bench at the far end of Large Dog 2 in the shade would be a good idea.

Quiet, peaceful in early mornings. Great for jogging around the lake. Lots of shady patches.

Loved this park. It’s beautiful with pond, ducks, turtles, geese, play ground, kids ground. Great for every day walk, jog, run, bike riding, play and get together. It’s clean and scenic.

Its a big park, have planty of place to walk around safly at this social distancing time.

This park is awesome. They have a little playground just perfect for my active 19 month old. She also loves feeding the ducks and running wildly through the open green areas

This park is close to my house and Ive always found it very enjoyable. Covered picnic tables, playground, sand volleyball and walking/bike trails.

Its a prototypical park. Big lake, quarter mile path around it. Bike paths, walking paths through the woods, large fields, ducks, playground, gazebos. And a dog park was built (almost) next to it

It is a great park with extensive trails, play area and lake. I generally go here to bike or run... you can start from the park and bike 10-12 miles on the trails. There are parts on the trail that make u feel so far away from city. Do visit the park if for kids play area, a run/walk, leisure biking or just seeing the ducks!

Really nice and large playground for all ages. Hiking trail around the pond was very well maintained. I am looking forward to returning to explore the trails in other directions. We only sae a fraction of what this park has to offer!

Very nice park. We enjoyed the playground area. There is a trail and a place to fish and feed ducks. Fishing is catch and release I believe.

Clean but very busy. Caught channel catfish and bluegill while fishing in the pond right off of the pier. Watch out for TONS of turtles!

Park connects to other trails. Great for cyclists, runners, walkers or families to exercise.

It was my first visit with a friend whos been before. We both enjoyed it, very clean and lots of activities to participate in. I loved the pond!!

Quite calm and a good place to walk

Beautiful park thats great for all kinds of recreational activities. Make sure to visit the Bicentennial tree, which are pictured here, its massive and worth the visit. Park is always clean and you may run into a horse rider or two on the West side of the park.

Enjoy bike riding, picnics and hikes at this park. The trails are about 3.7 mil love that it connects with Oak Pointe Park for extended riding or running!

Love this park, I am 30 minutes away from it now but still enjoy coming here. Cant beat the view with the fountain and it has a basketball court and volleyball court. Also had bathrooms in site. Its a little tucked away but its very relaxing

Plenty of trails to get a good walk in and around for a couple hrs. Theres also I playground and large pond area to watch birds/ducks. The sunset at this location was beautiful af. Theres a creek that winds through the woods... if you need a lil escape from city feels, come here and take a breather. I liked the place enough that I came back already a second time to explore more. :)

The playground is great for the kids, and we usually find a bench in the shade while they play and then walk around the pond. There are plenty of places to have a picnic lunch if you want, bathrooms and a water fountain, and a sand volleyball court.

Love this place to come and chill specially walking in the woods as it has trails to have a nice walk and hang out with the family as said. Nice views of nature!! N cute birds around if youre lucky to spot one!!

Ive spent time at this park since I was a little kid, countless memories. Its a beautiful area, great for running, biking, or just a nice walk to clear the mind.

Great park to ride a OneWheel. Long and wide paved biking path with multiple routes. Great wooded and dirt paths as well. Not to crowded but definitely popular park. This is my favorite spot to ride.

Best part of Richardson honestly. I love this park, good walking trails, some water features, park benches and picnic tables throughout. I go there to walk, and my children love the playground.

Nice big playground for kids to play and several benches for parents to watch. The park has a nice lake that ducks inhabit. Theres a paved trail that goes around the lake and around the park.

I would have to say I enjoy running the trails at this park because they just go on forever. I love how this park has endless trails to run with giving you a view at the same time.

Great park for everyone, kids, animals and anyone who just wants to get some exercise.

This park, in its entirety, is a great park to come to. Its spacious, with many different areas to accommodate many activities. The playground is large, and great for all ages, the bike path is very nice, and well-maintained, and travels over a large stretch of park and adjoining parks. There is a volleyball area, a very nice covered gathering place with tables to allow for even large parties with food, and lots of seating spaced out nicely for casual strollers around the park. This entire park is clean, and spacious.
