Nice open place to bring your pup. Has large and small dog areas.
I voted at this center but also enjoy the center itself. The city of Plano has done a great job in providing a center full of activities.
Great inclusive park. We walk here and enjoy it all the time.
Park is designed for people with Disabilities. Great place to picnic snd plsy Pokemon Go or Wizards Unite. Watch out for the group exercise classes in the parking lot.
Lots of room to let the fur babies run!Doggy water fountainSeveral waste disposal stationsShaded park benches and seats
I didnt dislike the park. I just viewed a web page.Ive never been to this park. I stumbled onto a web page reflecting this park one evening.
Fun place. Toddler friendly. Nice people around
Walking trails are too good and scinic.Park is very clean, good for kids and family .
I think its awesome the park has accommodations for kids who physical limitations to be able to play and enjoy themselves.
Perfect for kids. Not super shaded. Water sprinklers to keep cool.
I love this park, near Schimelpfenig Middle School on Maumelle road. Its got a big playground, and full bathrooms, which is really helpful with kids. But, be careful visiting when school is starting or letting out, because its slammed with parents picking up their students. The bathrooms are right by the parking lot, near the water fountain.Jack Carter park is a little confusing. This is the original site of the pool, which was filled in and turned into a park. A bigger pool with slides and water features was built off of Pleasant Valley. So, now there are two Jack Carter Parks in different places, but nearby.
Nice park, needs more shade
This is a fairly small park, but its great for little kids. My kids are under 5 and they love the easy-to-access playground. The floor is soft-surface instead of wood chips, so thats nice too.
Went to Dog park and I wont be back anymore. Dog park is unclean and smells. Way to many irresponsible dog owners not cleaning up after their pets. Really sad to see as its a nice large dog park and very convenient to my house.
Nice staff, fun pool and clean!
Lots of trails, dog park, public pool. The City parks in Plano are really great. We have plenty of places to enjoy outdoors.
Great for the kids and family !
I love this park. The equipment is extremely toddler friendly and it is very easy to watch yourKids in this park. There is also plenty of parking. It also has a nice small trail attached if you want to just walk a little.
Nice, quite, turtles in pond
Awesome kids friendly place. My kids love it. You also can take the kids at night time because theyre open until 11pm
Very nice playground for children, plenty of seating places, and picnic tables. Great place for exercise
Beautiful park to take your kids to. I see a lot of boot camps going on their as well, so if thats your thing this seems like a good place for it. It has a pretty extensive playground area with what I think is safety ground material.
Took our pups to the dog park. Always clean, never had an issue with aggressive dogs, owners are friendly and almost all clean up after their dogs (there is always one in a group that refuses) but for the most part, great place to let pups, get socialized and make friends while getting exercise
Hit up a Camp Gladiator workout there at 11:30. The pavilion provided the perfect amount of shade. The sand volleyball courts and playground kept our two year old busy while we sweat it out. That playground had some really interesting toys that make the kids think and learn about science. There were these sliding discs on a rail with a notch on the side. You had to actually twist the disc to slide it along the rail. My son was a bit frustrated but I thought it was a good leaning tool for problem solving.
Great place for small children! They have lots of little areas where kids can make music, a trail to walk and sand volleyball
This park is wonderful if you have a toddler. My extremely small 5 year old didn’t stay long.
VERY NICE, MORE LIKE FOR KIDS BUT U CAN GRLL WITH FAMILY N FRIENDS
Great dog park, great dog owners and volunteers.
Is has a pool in one side and other sides has walkways, soccer fields and kids play ground. Also a nice bike trail all the way to independence Pkwy.
There are loads of water fountains, bike trails for miles, and a playground, volleyball pit, dog park, and pool within walking distance of each other (the pool is only open during the summer). Plenty of geocaches in the area too.
Really niceLittle bit over crowdedFun funExcellent staff !!!
We love Jack Carter Park! The walking trail is great, playground is perfect for littles and the pond and covered pavillion just the right size for most events!
It is awesome great things to do theres slides a babies area and more
Wonderful family place!
What a huge resource for the City of Plano! This place is ideal for kids with lots of energy during the summer break. They recently remodeled and added the surf generator and high dive/cliff.
Its a nice place to spend time with love ones or family
Always loved this quaint little book but just know during the school year kids are encouraged to walk here to be picked up in a non regulated pseudo carpool line that gets kinda crazy
Great park for 2-5 yr olds to play!
Great park like all plano parks. Awesome lacrosse fields all things considered
Beautiful, well maintained park with a lot to offer!
