Open play table tennis is reliably ready to go with many good quality tables, in a spacious well-lit, clean and secure areas for over a decade.
Great place to swim!!! I loved this place!!! Especially the indoor pool!
Great Family friendly place. Great place for the kidos to splash around. You can bring coolers in with your food for the day. Splash area for the little littles. And nice 3ft 6in pool for older kids and sldes for older ones as well. They also have an indoor area that wluld be excellent except for one thing. The smell of clorine in tbere was so strong it made my head hur andmy eyes where stinging. Others didnt seem to mind but it sure did bother me. Other than that tho its an overal nice place.
I come for the kinder music classes for the baby I nanny. Love the teacher, Mrs. Carolyn (I could be miss spelling that, sorry!) Shes truly wonderful to work with. Exceptionally patient with everyone and child. She also explains how all of these musical practices will help your child learn and grow and become so much stronger in all aspects of their lifes. Personally I have seen my little guy blossom from a shy clingy baby to be happy to explore and learn new things every week! Definitely recommend!
Was here for an American Ref Cross blood drive the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
I can’t understand why anyone would rate this place anything but 5 stars. We went on a beautiful sunny Sunday and had a blast. I have a 2 year old and 4 year old and they had non stop fun. The life guards had to remind the older boys here and there that the rule was no running but they kept in good control. There were plenty of life guards and they took good care of this place. People cleaned up after themselves and there were good snacks. A must go to in town. If you have a chance take the family there. The inside will keep you cool and entertained. There are no big lines and they are keeping the slides moving. There are two inside and three outside. Whole family in with water volleyball and basketball as well as two splash pads and a fast river circle.
Whoever made the decision that masks shouldnt be required is an ignorant fool.
Love this place. Great price even if youre a non resident. Highly recommend
Had a good time playing ball with my uncle and fellow 50 and older guys. I do not live in Plano and found out that the visitor pass went from $6.00 to $9.00. That is very sad to raise the price three bucks. I may never go back. Thanks for treating your guest so poorly!
Excellent fitnesses center. If you want swimming in lanes, this is the best in Plano TX. There is a separate pleasure indoor pool.Outdoor pools are open only during summertime.
I love this place well maintained pool and fitness areas.
Love the indoor track and indoor pool. My special needs child loves the indoor pool because it is so roomy plus the lazy river allows him to work on his walking, balance and core.
Do you looking for the gym and swimming thats good for everybody with family 2 with a child you have a beautiful weekend with Tom Midland dont lose the happy time welcome
Great facility, great instructors. My child took swimming lessons and the instructor was AWESOME. She patiently took time with each student, almost like personal training. The indoor pool is nice and spacious with a bug waterslide and small slides for toddlers. Great experience.
My daughter goes for swim lessons here. The instructors are great and water is clean. The restrooms are maintained too. The staff is very helping. Love this facility!!
Good facilities... Ghm machines are good. Pool is clean and warm. Staff is hospitable..
I love this gym. It has everything....swimming. water aerobics, cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, ping pong, basketball and more. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean.
Recently celebrated pool party on my son 3rd Birthday and its was amazing all loved it highly recommend this place
Taking membership was easy and fast. It is maintained good. TT table needs service or replacement
Great recreation center with lots of workout equipment. Friendly staff and Nice clean facility
Well priced but the whole building smells like chlorine
Been a member for over 10 years. Great place, staff, & facilities. All you need.
I had fun. Thank you for giving me the good experience
I recommended the pre-school swimming lessons from TMC. My son has been in TMC for 3 months, and he made a lot of progress.Special thanks to swimming instructor Josh and Bob, since my son was with them in the past two sessions. I appreciate you both faithfully. You guys are extremely patient and kid friendly and for sure a lot of skills. As a father, I am so impressed with how they are training the kids. Especially my three years old, kind of stubborn. My son just loves to swimming. and being excited to go. My son are always mentioning Uncle Bob and Mr. Josh. Carry on the great job.
This is my favorite Plano pool even though they did have some strange no goggle rule. Forgot the exacts of it but my 6 year old was broke up about when she was told she couldnt wear them.
I generally enjoy a swim work out at the TM indoor swim lanes pool however, today they were letting little kids play among the lanes. There were parents who seemed oblivious and walking crossways across all lanes. The life guards said nothing. Explaining the swim lanes concept seemed to be like speaking a different language. Not a good experience today
Amazing facility. Amazing pools. Spent most of my mid 20s here training for triathlons. Favorite facility
Their boo Bash is an amazing set up for kids, good job Everyone, we enjoyed a lot
Excellent recreational center that is well maintained. They have a large gym, but an additional area with weights and ellipticals. The annual membership is very reasonable even if youre not a Plano resident.
Clean, safe place to be. Pools are constantly monitored by lifeguards.
The place sucks. It smells bad. Horrible staff members. They don’t allow teens to try and build muscle in the gym. They clearly don’t care about the future of teenagers and only care for older adults who will most likely die in the next few weeks. Their rules are unreasonable and unfair. Don’t go here if you are between 11-15 trying to build muscle. I’d give this place 0 stars if I could
I traveled so far in a hot sweaty car with 5 other friends and we were disappointed when they said we can’t go there unless we were their to exercise and the website said it was open.Would NOT send my worst enemy here!
This is a very good place to go to my kids love it but one little small thing when you guys do a drill on training can you please let the parents know because I was there this past Saturday and was scared thinking someone had gotten hurt coming down the water slide thanks other than that you guys are awesome and very helpful!!!!!
Great facility, staff is always welcoming and they keep the rooms very clean. Pools are very nice, just make sure you do not spend all day at the indoor pool the chlorine can be bothersome and not helpful if you have some respiratory sensitivities.
So good. Kind staff and great facility
Had a birthday party there..at 1pmThey told us we can get in 15 minutes before...and confirm twice, we get there 15 minutes before and lady at front desk Dana or Diana says no its only 5 minutes before...then the head lifeguard tells we have till 3:30 to clean up... oh and at 2:30 another person walks in and tell we need to get out. Just like she was so rude...we paid for 2 hours..if the party starts at 1pm why would we had to leave at 2:30pm...before we even got out the people stated clean pushing us out.
This is our favorite indoor pool. Splash area for the kids makes it a great escape during the winter months. Life gaurds are very strict, which I wouldnt mind but many of the rules are not posted so we had to get yelled at several times before we figured out all the rules. That was frustrating for me and the kids.Family changing rooms are convenient but the floors are really gross. Besides the floors they are kept pretty clean.
Its a clean and friendly place to go
OMG, loving this aquatic class Ive signed up for. I was nervous at first because I dont know how to swim...its on my to do list (yes I know Im doing it backwards, what happens when you have no real fear of shallow waters, and want to do low impact moves) back to the class. So its done in the lazy river part and is only like 3.5 to 4ft deep...bonus for me. Although its in shallow water let me tell you it is challenging, Im talking sore arms, glutes, calves, quads, and the core is constantly worked and challenged. I signed up for Tues / Thurs only but am definitely going back and will sign up for Mon / Fri.
It has two pool indoor & outdoor. We alwayes come here . It is so family friendly.
Love this place ️. $130 a year for Plano residents.
Love coming here at least every 3 weeks during the summer, love the outdoor and indoor pool. Just that the indoor pool smelled way too much like chlorine. very hard to stay inside with that strong smell
Yup love it. You should too.
Nice, clean facilities,Basketball, pools indoor and out, pool table, pingpong table, shuffleboard foosball, clean restrooms with showers and lockers
I agree with people said about inconsistency rule.Their staff are really inconsistent about the rule and regulations. One minutes say ok the next day say not ok. They seem to have disconnected communication with each other. They really are not a good team member.I have bad experience with kick board rule which I don’t know if it doesn’t allow to be used on friday-sunday during kid hours. They didn’t tell me after 45 mins, I was In the water. Which make me feel very bad in front lot of people looking at me, when someone came and talked towards me.I had to talk to the manager there and made almost 45 min conversation about the rule.It just doesn’t make sense to me as kick board is not allow but shooting toy is allowed. Kick board is for learning swim in the pool. If weren’t allow during kids hours then when can kids will be able to learn to swim. Not everyone have pool backyard or have community pool. I think it doesn’t make sense at all for me, just because for safety reason. Kick board foam : make overcrowded? make other injured? What about a plastic toy, it can injured somebody too, right?Common what kind of reason if that.I personally think they should allow it, since it is one of the tool for learning to swim. This is make me so furious and angry terribly. Each facility doesn’t have the same rule throughout plano center area. I really want to give 0 too if I could.
Good customer service. Clean place. Good Staff
This place is so nice and its only $3 to get in! Indoor and outdoor pools, big slide in the indoor one that my kids love to get on (you fall into 3ft of water at the end so you dont go very fast on the slide).
We had a birthday party on the pavilion. Nicely covered with a great breeze. Plenty of room for all the guests and multiple pools for the kids. A fantastic experience.
This place offers very convenient event spaces. We were looking for a hall to host about a 100 people. The center offered us two adjacent 50-people halls with a removable partition between them. The venue allows food to be served in the halls. They also provided us with chairs and tables all at no additional cost. Due to various logistical reasons, we had to move our event thrice and the center accommodated our rescheduling request with no difficulties at all (and no additional expenses).
Awesome time with the family here.. coming back next week!
Great workout area, indoor and outdoor pools, well maintained facilities, and friendly staff.
Great to be back!
K.C. Was ver disrespectful to me and every time i come here he’s disrespectful and he treats people here terrible!!!
We love visiting when were in Plano! Great facility!
Great recreation center. Best in plano for its swimming classes. Awesome instructors. Good gym and badminton court. Best in plano.
What a fun place. Indoor and outdoor water play area. Great for all ages.
Wonderful place to work out. It is clean, the people are nice, parking is easy and overall a great place for a good work out.
HaveThis place is great. I come here with my mom as a visitor sometimes just to take a dip in the pool. If you go really early you can avoid most people.Everything seems really nice and sterilized. You would expect such a nice place would be overrun and worn down after so long. But either the staff is really on top of maitenance or this is just one of those unicorn oasis that not everyone has caught onto yet.Just walking across the bridge with all the beautiful trees flanking the doors gives this place such a nice vibe. The only complaint I have is that their road bumps are really high. Its fine for people driving Suvs and trucks etc. But it grinds against my moms car every time she goes over one.
If you go in the morning, make sure to get there early to get the lanes that the Masters class isnt using. Fills up quick.
It was just ok!! Couldnt really enjoy the events to many people. And crowded slides and ent.
This is a better place with all sports. Kids will love to spend their time in the pools.
For eleven years I have had the best work out and the best time there. Great staff and basketball court.
This for need it ask her my take people to work the same as signs been upgraded for sown in their next deal?
Good fun family day out. Great value for money. Restrooms very clean and modern. Will be going back! Great job guys.
Excellent the staff is very polite. Also on Sundays when you guys let half of the court get taken by a ping pong tournament, thats my only problem I had today Im not sure if its every Sunday but we were unable to run full court basketball because of that.
A superb rec center with great workout equipment and facilities. Only major problem is the televisions in the workout area are often only tuned to Fox News. Not everyone wishes to be exposed to this.
Most obliging reception. Reasonable rates. Inadequate space during vacations making for overcowdiding. Many facilities would benefit from major redesign and updating. Generally an exceptionally worthwhile facility having greater demand than space. Introduction to 21st Century architectural renovation would make it marvelous. Covered parking would be a blessin
Very clean with a lot of life guardsvery safe for kids
Always a great place to get a workout in
We recently relocated to Plano and we are loving this rec center! Theres something for everyone in our family, so its a great investment. After being part of a big fancy gym for awhile, I really appreciate the simplicity of the fee schedule and memberships here. Were super excited about having this recreational center available for our entire family, its much more economical and family oriented.I usually walk the track and use cardio equipment, my husband plays basketball and uses weight lifting equipment, our boys play games and basketball. We havent had a chance to enjoy the pool just yet, but it looks amazing! The outdoor pool is like a resort.Everything from the locker rooms to the track is always clean and its never too crowded.
Great place to work out, clean, up to date. Three pools.!!
Recently visited, was expecting to have a good time with the family. Not what I expected, got multiple conplaints about my kids when they were simply having fun in the pool....definitely wont recommend this place to anyone, not worth the time. The staff is very rude and make you feel so uncomfortable by constantly staring at you. The lifeguards are mostly glaring at you “to make a mistake”. The front desk ladies do not even bother responding when you say Hi and give them a friendly smile. One front desk gentleman constantly gives me a point blank stare when I smile and say Hello to him. Bathrooms are many times stinking so bad that I end up not going there. I wish I could give a minus five star. Thanks but no thanks.
Great pool! I love the combination of indoor and outdoor pools, with slides and other fun features on both.
Super fun, worth the membership
Great swimming pools
Best in Plano (naturally It is West Plano). Seriously. Very good workout areas. Wonderfull array of pools, gyms, classes and more.
Really nice place. Kind of a tight layout, but its still nice.
Awesome Place for a family workout
This recreation center is very poor. the kids in the classes were very rude, and the kids who were playing a game of basketball were very loud during my photography class. the pool is too intense for some people, and the lap pool is way too deep. the only good thing is that there are lifeguards in the pool area to keep you safe.
We did my daughters 8th birthday party here today and it was great! Perfect place for 18 eight year olds to run around and swim. Party spot was perfect, kids had a blast, fans in the party area kept it cool for the parents despite the Texas heat. Best value for a party, in my opinion!
This is a very nice pool and rec center. The outdoor pool area is all shallow areas and the indoor pool area is deep.
Awesome family plano rec center, we love this place, its so clean and there is just a ton to do. Also a great gym and pools!!
Fun indoor and outdoor pool is awesome. Even a lazy river 5 slides ???? What is wrong about this place.
No fair conducting place it is like it belongs to certain group of people
Pool is great and able to workout anytime of the year and great prices too.
The facility itself is great, no doubt. However, the place has been converted into a de facto daycare for kids from the adjacent middle school. Thus, despite the quality of the facility, the exorbitant quantity of individuals dilutes the quality of ones time at the facility. Additionally, the facilitys rules seem to be overlooked often (including the mandate of wearing a shirt while using workout equipment, which protects all users from staph infections).
Nice and clean swimming pool and gymnastics equipment
Another one of planos good rec centers. I only started coming here recently because its close to my daughters job, I usually go to Carpenter or Liberty. Muehlenbeck is pretty similar to Carpenter, but the weight room is a bit older, which means the machines are a little more creaky/loose. I wouldnt say rundown, cuz its not, its just not new and spiffy like Carpenter. The design and architecture are much nicer than Carpenter, and the staff seem pleasant. The lap pool is bigger than Carpenter. There are no racquetball courts, unfortunately.A great place, but depending on your needs and preference, you might prefer Carpenter.
Nice pool and clean facility.
Beautiful rec center with indoor track, large workout area with state of the art machines, weights, gym, pools, and much more.
I just moved to Plano, and discovered the Tom Muehlenbeck recreational center. My family joined up right away to take advantage of the huge swimming pool and the amazing waterslides. The kids love it. We play basketball, table tennis and air hockey all in the same. The staff and the members all very helpful and friendly. I wouldve given five stars but my kids goggles got lifted, perhaps by accident, and I wish there was more than one ping-pong table.
Its not very good...IT IS AMAZINGLY OUTSTANDING! There are 4 water slides, indoor and outdoor pools, a diving board inside, a slide that drops you in a twelve feet pool, and so much more awesome stuff!
Its nice place, except its too dirty. Ive been going there from six months and I always saw something unacceptable. Its swimming pool, there is a lot of people and the cleanliness should be priority.
