Rented our own movie theater room and was amazing to see a new movie in such a small crowd.

Very nice remodel! Its no longer a $1 theater. Great staff! Great manager! Side note, in about 60 seconds I accidentally would spill all that buttery popcorn!

This is our new favorite theater! The remodel made it very appealing. The reclining seats with lower-back heat are very comfortable. Aisle and seat numbers are clearly marked. My only quibble is that the scanner doesn’t always read tickets bought online and printed at home.

Extremely disappointed in Cinemark for taking away the only affordable theatre in the area. Now the price is 5x greater or more! They have closed another section of the economy in favor of higher profit margins and less market share. Thanks, Cinemark, for killing the industry one step at a time while further decreasing the standard of living in this corporate ruled society we call America. This is why our country is ranked #15 in quality of life and #56 in affordability world wide.

I love the new recliners and the smaller size of each theater. The chicken strips are restaurant quality. The Topo Chico is a great option for bottled water. The popcorn is not my favorite but of course I still have to order it because, well, its the movies.

I enjoyed the heated seats. The staff was helpful and friendly...Now the popcorn, it need some work. It taste nothing like the popcorn at the Cinemark in McKinney. Other than that, its a nice theater.

Theater is much nicer now that its been remodeled. Ticket pricing is fair, though I do miss it being the dollar theater it once was. Nonetheless,, based on my experience it still gets the five stars.

New theatre is nice! The seats are super comfortable, I love all the new options. Dylan at the front was very nice with a friendly smile. The young guy with the glasses and tie at the concession stand that helped me when I had reward problems was very kind and patient.

Unbelievably comfortable seats. Better than West or Legacy. They sink down and even have heat! My only beef was the ticket/concessions area. Still very small. And, only one modern ticketing kiosk. Not good for those of us who purchase ahead of time. You can see why my rating hit dead in the middle.

REMODELED THEATER REVIEW: (Id really like to give it 3.5 stars, but Im rounding up to 4.) Cinemark 10, the last dollar theater in Plano, shut its doors spring 2019 and reopened Nov 2019, completely refurbished, as Cinemark Central Plano, a neighborhood theater with first run movies.Note: Tuesdays are a great time to visit for a discounted ticket price if youre missing this being the cheap theater.The layout is unchanged, except for the concessions area, which took over the arcade area by adding expanded snacks (ex- pizza, flavored popcorn) and a full bar for a variety of alcoholic beverages. Concession prices generally are ridiculous. $4.95 for bottled water vs $6.50 for beer? That makes sense. We were unimpressed with the popcorn... was a bit stale.The individual theaters now have reserved seating, in the form of leather recliners that are very comfy, but not as wide as the other Cinemark theaters. The heating element in the seats isnt strong, so bring a coat or throw blanket because these theaters can be freezing.Theres finally new carpet and metallic wallpaper throughout, similar to the classic Hollywood vibe thats at Cinemark Legacy.I hope they leave the big Superhero, action, and kiddie type films to the bigger Cinemark theaters and to fall more in line with the intimate setting and size, show more indie, romantic, comedy, horror, suspense, and drama films at this Cinemark Central Plano.I wouldnt go out of my way to come here, but if youre in the neighborhood, sure.

REMODELED theater review - so, this used to be the dollar theater, but now its a first-run movie theater and it is OUTSTANDING! I read a couple other reviews and need to tell you that my family thinks this is the BEST Cinemark in Plano now! We LOVE the seats - better leather, they go back a little different than Tinseltowns and I like Central Planos better, and we LOVE the heated seats - they have hot, warm and off - and the hot will warm up your buns nicely! Not only did we love the seats, but the concessions and service were awesome as well. Honestly, we could pick Tinseltown on the Tollway or Central Plano on Coit for a movie - and well take Central Plano every time!

They did such a good job renovating this theater. The seats recline and have a heated option! Even updated concessions with flavored popcorn and alcohol options.

Nice reclining seats that are spacious. Alcohol is available. Food options are a bit better than the most basic but not that expansive of offerings.

Nice theater! We sat in super comfy recliners that were heated! Food was great and we were provided many options to choose from! We recommend.

I like the idea of electric reclining chairs but in practice theyre annoying during quiet movies. During any fairly quiet movie you will hear the high pitched whine of people adjusting their chairs several rows away.

New theather...... yes we use to come when it was a low cost theather but my husband and I are both retired and we always do movies during the day so we love this place. Low prices during the day works just great for us. Very nice. If you are older and not stable be aware first the floor is slanted toward the screen so Watch that first step when you get out of the seat. Enjoy

Movie theater has been remodeled and looks wonderful. Only down side is it is no longer the $1.50 movie theater it once was. Regular price and current up to date movies. No longer the last chance movie theater of the past.

The seats were amazing!!

The Cinemark Central is a little smaller than other Cinemark theaters in the neighborhood, but it seems more intimate and less crowded. It has a nice complete snack bar and the chairs recline to almost totally horizontal. Very comfortable.

We enjoyed the upgraded seating (the heated chairs is a great idea!), the layout is better, we liked the atmosphere. Its no longer the dollar movies, but it still less expensive than the regular theaters. It will always be a favorite for us!

Went to see Bad Boys on opening night and it was the first time Ive been since remodeling/reopening. It was nicely revamped. The customer service (dealing with only the ticket person) could have been better; he was extremely short and stale with his response - could have been the person in general. But those seats!! It was plush and had a soft cotton feel when sitting in them. The seats also have heat elements, along with the recline feature. Felt like I was sitting on cloud 9.

Great renovations and amenities with the remodel, but sad to see the old dollar movie theater concept go. Popcorn was a little stale and cold. Young lady at concession stand was super friendly.

Now that this place is new and improved, it has good food for snacking on while you watch the newest and best movies. Have and good time and dont miss a second of the movie.

Not happy its now like a regular theater and costs have gone up. It was affordable for some families to take their kids to the movies. Now they wont the able to.

This theater was recently remodeled and the place is now amazing. The new seats are absolutely perfect . . . oversized and very, very comfy!

The renovated theater is mostly the same as is was before, but with nice big recliner chairs, and probably some other technology upgrades I didnt notice.

Newly renovated cinema with plush seats/ recliner with controlled settings. Now serving alcohol near the concessions. Become a movie club member to get more disvounts.

The theatre was clean, the seats recline and heat up if you like and they have closed captioned inserts to be able to watch the action while understanding the words for those that are hard of hearing or deaf. It was an amazing thoughtful addition.

Comfy chairs with heating. Only negative is that the theaters lack stadium seating, which means youll end up craning you neck upward more than you would in most other movie theaters.

Seats are fly comfy and it can be heated too. Should have known that they renovated the place sooner. Will come here from now on.

Since it became the Cinemark, it has become a much more pleasant movie viewing experience. It is clean and spacious.

This isnt your typical dollar theater. Usually I have zero desire to return to a dollar theater once I visit but that is by far not the case here! The seats are new and comfortable with some recline to them. The concessions are typical theater prices and there is a good selection. The staff was great and the entire place was clean. Im not sure Ill be paying 5 times as much to see movies at other theaters anymore. Im so glad I found this place!

Im beyond sad. Ive been going to this theater since it opened many years ago. It was always a treat because of the price. Not anymore. They redid it, put new seats in and jacked up the prices. Typical Plano, screw the people who built this town, we just want money.

Always a favorite. I went every weekend as s teenager and I still go often. Other than smaller screens, its just as nice as a first run but much cheaper. Cant beat it.

I always enjoy movies here. The bathrooms and movie theater are looking cleaner than some other larger movie theater. Great popcorn but ease up a little on the salt.

I was searching high & low for this theater.. To only find out it’s no longer the same This was the only theater to catch older movies I’ve missed and cheap pricing just in case I want to see a really good movie again ...This was the only one now it’s gone smh .. Greed is the root of all evil..

This theater is cheap to enter and inside the food is just about the same cost as any other theater. Every time Ive gone, the theater has been kept pretty clean. The seats are pretty comfy and not too tight of a space to sit next to people.

Pure Awesomeness! Prices are too good to be true. Took my wife to see A Star is Born at 6:30 pm. Went to purchase the tickets and the total was less than $6!Will be going to the movies here more often. Its worth the drive.PS. Tuesdays ALL movie tickets are only $1.25 per person.

Good family movie watching place. Some screens are really small. Some are big. Good sound. Comfortable seating. High priced concession bar with limited selections and two cashiers. Sometimes waiting line gets really long. Most of the time Arcade has out of order equipment. Theater could have been cleaner. Whole place has musty smell. Sticky floor, spilled soda and popcorn. Friendly staff. Overall a nice theater with good selection of older movies.

Great way to see movies that are available for rent, on the big screen. Newer comfortable seats have been installed, making for a pleasant viewing experience. You cant beat the ticket price, but the snack bar is still ridiculously expensive (as are ALL theaters). My only complaint would be the strong smell of room deodorizer. But Im sure it beats whatever it is covering up!

Great price for tickets if you are willing to wait a couple of months after the movie is released in the regular theater. Super clean. Best of all, the seats are SUPER comfortable. However, the food is SUPER expensive, so be careful, otherwise the money you saved on the tickets will be lost in the concession stand.

Went often when it was a budget theater. Came back this year and its upgraded with $10 tickets. Oh well. Gotta make a buck I guess.

A very inexpensive way to see a movie! Only $1.25! Concessions are the regular price but you still cant beat the ticket price! Since I had been there previously, they have added much nicer chairs that lean back. I will definitely be seeing more films there!

This place is nasty! Trash all over the floor. The bathrooms needed cleaning as well. The food is ridiculously high and the games are a dollar to play and are clearly rigged. I have played these same games at many places and can tell when a game is set up differently. The manager stands in a suit and barely speaks, just stares at you. Kind of puts you in the mind of a mortician at a funeral. The nachos were stale and they barely give enough cheese to cover 5 nacho chips although they were generous with the jalapenos. The movie did not start on time. It costs less to go to studio movie grill.

I love this movie theater because of the fact that the prices are low and you can still see the movies that you missed. There is always good customer service and the food and drinks are great. Its not like the Cinemark on Legacy with its XD advanced technology. But it serves its purpose and everyone loves it.

This is a clean theater that offers movies that have been out for a while. The price is economical for the movies. Concessions are the same price as the regular theater. The seating slopes but if a tall person sits in front of you they will block your view which will require you to shift positions to try to get a better view and at times no matter what you do its not possible to get a better view. The seating is open so you can move to a different seat. I could not because the theater was full that day.

Good place to visit for the movies you missed in the main theaters.An old theater that doesnt offer many amenities if latest, including reclining seats or reserved seats or better studio and visual or even theater seating.But if you like to watch the movies a second time or first time if you missed in main theater, this can come very handy. The price is just right for what they offer and it will do for any one.

If you go to the first movie of the day, its reduced price. Adults are $1.98 with tax. Not quite a Dollar movie any more but pretty darn close. Because it is cheaper, beware that a lot of families with little children go then because they can afford it. Tuesdays are reduced prices all days.The theaters are small and this is an older theater, but they keep it clean. The picture and sound are always good, and they have 3D movies here, too, for a little higher price.

My fav place in Dallas. I have watched so many movies here. Great shows at cheapest price.

The new renovated theater is not much different. Only thing is no more sticky floors and nice seats. Same ol everything else. Not much of a fan so Ill be going back to my fav at legacy!

Theater is made for fun! Clean, it even smells clean. Comfortable temperature, volume was just right. Comfy seating.

It’s not bad... half the sinks in the men’s room were missing handles to wash your hands. It’s got everything you would expect in a theater. Dirt cheap tickets as it’s a dollar theater. Wish the seats reclined but you get what you pay for. Very packed out theater no matter when you go because it’s so wildly cheap. Seriously it’s like 3.50 a ticket or less.

I have never experienced such superior customer service from a movie theater like Cinemark 10. Every team member behind the concessions counter is professional, friendly and goes above and beyond to customize your order or make it special for you. The popcorn is delicious and the seats have recently been replaced!

$2.50 per person, not too badly priced concession stand, cute little arcade, clean bathrooms, not too overly priced merch stands...yes please. Cute little theater. We watched Dumbo on Fathers Day 2019. It was great. There wasnt a large crowd. We did get a large popcorn and a drink for the movie. They have loads of parking, handicapped accessible, inside and out. Nice chairs in singles and doubles in the back row. Reclining seats where the armrests go up. Oh, and not only was it Fathers Day, it was our childs first trip to a movie theater and the laid back vibe provided for a perfect experience. No worries, no troubles. Nice quiet afternoon movie. It was great. Totally plan to make the trip again very soon.

This is probably my favorite place in the world. You can take the entire family for 1/3 of the price. Especially for 3D movies, which we love to watch. The theater itself is outdated, but they updated their seats and theyre comfy.The staff is always friendly and helpful.

As a total poor chick I will absolutely not go anywhere else to see a movie. The prices cannot be beat and Tuesday all regular shows are $1.25!!! As for quality, the theater is always clean, and the food never has disappointed me. This place is a true gem if you need some entertainment but are too broke to see the latest movies. Right up there with dollar tree as far as pleasing the poor people goes xD
