Did you say wine tasting?No further introduction past that. Yum yum wines. I definitely recommend the pinot gris. The patio and outside area is lovely.Theyre with it for covid times.Ambience high and photography esthetics.

Another great visit, sunshine in the valley, started snowing when we got there! Super service moving us into their barn for the first time ever! Great folks making great wine!

Good . Bought a bottle. Included cheese, crackers grapes and chocolates. They didnt really think through the snacks though because half of them clashed with the wine making me question whether or not the wine was really good. Helpful leading me to other great wineries in the area.

Great wines, among the best in El Dorado county. Friendly, courteous staff. Flight of wines to taste come in individual carafes and a snack tray with cheeses, crackers, grapes, etc. Nice touch!

Absoultely beautiful! Wine is so good! Great views of the landscape and Tahoe. The staff was super sweet! The tastings are only $5 for 6 wines and a glass is $7.50! You can also bring your own food and picnic. It’s perfect!!

Terrific dessert wines - love the Fashionable Late and the lighter Muscat of Alexandria! Best Red blend - Aboriginal Red and the classic 5PM, also love the Zinfandel and Petite Sirah . Beautiful view of the Sierras from the patio! Fun staff!

TL;DR: beware the owner if you plan to picnic.Grace Patriot was highly recommended by multiple friends so we decided to make this our first stop wine tasting with family visiting from Colorado.We visited on a Thursday and brought a picnic lunch (with expectation to taste and buy a few bottles for lunch). We were the only group there and they were very friendly and offered to do the tasting outside on the patio for us. The weather and views were amazing, and the wines are incredible.Unfortunately, mid tasting an older gentleman (we presume one of the owners) approached us and asked point blank what are you doing here in a very condescending tone. We said we were wine tasting mid flight and he asked, again condescendingly, if we were club members. He was clearly irritated that we brought a picnic lunch, even though there was noone else present and there was no signage indicating any impropriety.They dont sell food, and the two people helping us prior seemed more than content to have 8 patrons on a down Thursday.He really ruined the experience for us and our out of town guests, and ultimately we only chose to buy four bottles even though we liked more, because we were very frustrated by the encounter.Our out of town guests later commented we always heard winery folks are rude - guess its true. Thats such an unfortunate and inaccurate viewpoint they left with because of the owner. :(

Been wine tasting here for over 2 years. Never have had a bad experience here. Wines are very good. Love the blends and the cabernet. Always have brought food in with my for an outdoor picnics are great with amazing views. Best place in the foothill!

At Lewis Grace you will experience the best wine, a beautiful tasting room, and the friendliest service. After tasting the LG Graciano and other reds at a friends house, I knew I had to locate this place. I was thrilled to find that their whites are also impeccably delicious.This is definitely a spot to head for on your next trek to Apple Hill. Enjoy and Cheers!

Walked in to 18 people at the counter..We waited 15 minutes, to get a spot.The single person working, acknowledged us then....She should have phoned for help.We waited another 10, but never actually got to.taste.The person working was more concerned with a party of 6...We left, and 2 other couples left at the same time, all were tired of waiting...

My girlfriends stopped by on a birthday trip in mid-October. It wasnt too busy since it was raining out. The Sommeliers were extremely attentive and making sure we were getting our pours. All of which were good, I was partial to the Sirah. They have a great view as well. We hung out by the vines snapping some cool photos.

We were able to taste 6 wines and none of those wines are there flagship wines or wines that won awards. They offered there quality wines for sale but not to taste. Wont be back!

The sprawling vineyards, cozy bungalow and picnic area situated next to a majestic tasting room beckons to be experienced.Upon your arrival you will most likely be greeted by Trevor. Ladies, dont let his good looks distract you from the views and the amazing wines you are about to taste. This is truly a family run operation. Steve is the owner and visionary. His wife Bea by his side has a sweet demeanor about her and slight Southern accent that makes everything sound amazing. And Tyler, master vintner, crafting his delicious wines and ever so modest about the last medal won with his award winning wines.I am always thankful for a wonderful glass of wine but ever so thankful to share it with good friends and an amazing back drop as what Grace Patriot has to offer.
