Nice park! Its has acomidationsfor children as well as adults. Great pond in the upper sections with ducks and turles. Theres is also some good fishing in the pond species range from bass to blue Gill.

Old duck poo pond is what we used to call it. Theyve put in a nice play structure and the meadow picnic area is kept nice and clean. Its really quite beautiful in wet weather. These pics are from a sprinkly morning. The waterfall and creek are dry in warm weather.

It should would be a lot better if they had restrooms there and they actually did something with the pond like maybe put an aerator in there or something so there isnt so much murkiness in sludge

Beautiful, peaceful setting. Cool reprieve. Nice breeze. Good company. Nice groups of people here today all doing the same... enjoying the day w/friends. Thank you for this place! No where in Pville is it this cool on a hot, muggy day.

The park is a nice size. The bathrooms are horrific though. Either way, my 3.5 year old had fun.

The park is cool for kids but the 3 times weve gone there were creepy vagrant dudes hanging out and as a woman it makes me uncomfortable because theres not always other people there. So just be aware of your surroundings

No good....No trespassing signs everywhere you look! Homeless and transients in every direction. It was a big let down when we got there!

Nice park with a lake. Lots of cool rocks. Paths were a bit overgrown.

Used to a better place to go with kids, but theres so much transient population growth that sometimes its difficult to feel safe.

Needed a shady area so I could do some drawing. So I decided to go to Lumsden Park . I went to the Upper Room for dinner and then back to the park. There is a pond there. I forgot to bring the bread for the geese and ducks ( they love it!) .

Lumsden Park has been there forever it seems in Placerville. Before all the new additions of Wal-Mart and Big 5 and so on. Our town is growing and getting more diversity.

It was awesome. Peaceful and I didnt want to leave.

This place would be nice if there wasnt a homeless camp there. Would not let the kids be there by themselves. Also, you best leave before dark.

Fun for younger kids to play and lots of chickens and ducks to feed. But stay in the lower parking lot always has suspicious activity in the upper parking area and the grass areas. Also watch for snakes.

Small park in the heart of Hangtown. Small pond with geese and fish. Small playset for the kids. Homeless encampments all around.

I used to come here as a kid with my grandfather. Its in a great area, and the park is fun for the kids but the bums have taken it over and I can no longer enjoy this pond with my son like my grandfather did with me.

Nice place to take your kids to play also nice picnic area. With a pond I use to take my dog lady sif Ingles there until she was stolen or taken from my own home.

Cute park but need to get the junkies out if the restrooms and stop the drug deals by the goose pond. Lots of families go there.

Lots of garbage from homeless encampments all over the trails. The play structure is fine but dont wander far on the trails. Disappointing.

A time- honored tradition here in Placerville! Even saw kids fishing with their parents this summer as they stalk the pond with fish!
