We took a lunch break here and it was peaceful. A few people out enjoying the park. Due to Corona Virus the park benches were off limits.

Look I dont care.. normally. The homeless need a place to rest and get out of the heat. BUT.. ffs. The trash is aweful.. theyve taken over the entire north side of the park and its disgusting. Even the people who work for the city cant do their job and mow. Because THEY WONT MOVE FOR A MOMENT.. JUST EWWW

No water WHY? CITY PARK RANGERS! CALL THE PLUMER THE LOCK SMITH AND THE WATER COMPANY. THEY HAVE WORK 2 DO.

Very large park with many sports areas and even a pool. The downside though is the number of homeless and there is trash EVERYWHERE.

Not a good place to visit during this pandemic; theres a lot of homeless people around, plus public restroom are closed...but yet smell like crazy for people using them outside. However, its a nice park to take a walk, very shaded.

Arizona Parks are not as nice as California. Because of the desert it takes a lot of water to keep the grass green here but the park was nice. Is green grass underneath the trees. December and everything here so its hard to keep everything green it was a nice park.

The neighborhood park...has changed alot over the last 35yrs and can be quite sketchy at times but what can you do? No different than the rest of the neighborhood except were now the minority. Its easy to stay to yourself when you only speak English and not Sudanese or Spanish.

This is a nice family park, and good to meet up with family and friends.

Grew up across the street. Now there are homeless people always sleeping there and for some reason people just sit in their vehicles there. Not illegal, just weird, go to work or go home after chilling for a bit I get that. Just sit there for hours though? Hmm. Anyways, it still has a playground for kids, baseball fields, pool area, abundant parking, plenty of soccer fields. Last year it smelled like sewer all summer. Hopefully thatll be better this year.

Its fun for exercise, Pull ups, Jogging...you name it, you can do it?

A great place to hangout with friends and enjoy the weather during free time and weekends.The park is very calm and very relaxing.

The park workers keep it c2the best they can but on the weekends this place gets packed with kids soccer teams and if you dont like kids dont come here and a lot of people bring there dogs here also so keep that in mind. I spend my weekends here is a great place to unwind after a long hard week of working.

Its full of homeless people and in a bad neighborhood. My family actually found a little boy wandering the park alone we were able to find his dad but I wouldnt take my eyes off any little ones if youre stopping here.

Is not as nice and safe like it used too, cant trust kids at playground without keeping an eye at all times, after dark theres always people smoking marihuana, sometimes cops show up, but just check around parking lot and not in the actual park sidewalks.

If your looking for a place to go that dosent have a splash pad .... It would be this one. This is an abosultly fun park. There are so many things to spin your kids on or so many things they can climb on its a blast. I really wished however that there was more than just one bench in the shade avaaible. There is no good seating here that isnt directly under the sun.

Lots of parking, close to work, & lots of trees. Not a bad place to have lunch at.

Courts for Tennis,Basketball, fields for Soccer, Football, etc. & swimming pool. And its the most tree shaded park in the entire West Side!

Nice place to walk or jog but too many homeless people around that make it feel unsafe. Clean public restrooms and nice pool area with many activities for all ages. Flooding the green areas may be good for trees and grass but the odor is disgusting and promotes mosquitoes making an unpleasant and unsafe environment when picnicking.

It is a nice park big and beautiful just need to run the homeless out

My kids LOVE this park. It has multiple play areas and lost of grass. The one drawback is the number of homeless people sleeping. They stay out of the general playground area, but it definitely controls how far my kids can run.

Swing on hill overlooking the city. So Phoenix.Only in this city would there be a swing on a hill with one of the most gorgeous views of AZ. Its a shame Im terrified of heights and could not even sit on that thing for more than 10 seconds without freaking out. My friends had fun swinging on it though. And if youre like me who has borderline acrophobia, you can still enjoy the pretty view and take some awesome shots of the city!Tip: watch out for mosquitoes!

Very nicely landscaped with extra large shade trees. Great for a tin or a stroll, I didnt check out the kids area. Picnic tables are few. Its best to leave before dark but daytime is nice park to be at.

My favorite place to jog! Beautiful views and never too crowded... Just beware, some of the ducks will try chasing after you at time! Just see it as motivation to run a little faster. Haha

Great park for recreational activities, such as soccer which is what i went there for. They have soccer posts set but there is no nets. They have jungle gyms for kids. It has a pool for those hot summers. Restrooms seemed somewhat maintained. Not a whole lot of transients, plus they keep to themselves. It also has tennis courts.

Park is good plenty of playing area. Restroom are terrible no door in male toilet.

The park is ok but the parking lot needs some work. My daughter enjoys the swim class they offer and the instructors are great with the kids.

Awesome place awesome place grew up across the street a lot has been added since then like a extraordinary jungle gym setup the pool has had a few adjustments more picnic tables an grills have been added as well theres also a gated mini soccer ring with astroturf use to be a tennis court but noone really used it place is irrigated every other day for the trees an grass here just a all around great park strongly suggest bringing the little ones to participate in future events an awesomeness this place has to offer
