It’s just an industrial over flow water from the canal... isn’t a museum. Few signs stating history. But that’s it. It’s not much and not worth the drive to see.
This area is best accessed from the 5802 E. Indian School Rd. parking lot. Climb up the stairs to see the SRP Energy signs, then take the stairs down again.By the falls, there were some concrete cubes (presumably seats that you can sit on), however it was too wet to sit on any of them. The falls have 2 sections- one is a gentle cascade that falls over a rock wall and then in front you have to 2 falls that face each other on opposite ends of the bank. The falls werent the huge waterfall I was expecting, but still a nice view.Downsides were- the area by the falls was wet, looked drab in colors, and the water fountains did not look too clean to drink from.
If you want all the canal smell with the added bonus of great architecture and some history, look no further! Best canal overpass. Not sure what else to say, still a canal
Nice park with some hydroelectric knowledge. Enjoyed the falls.
