Love this place. Been here before and its still cool to check out the Penske racing heritage. The upstairs has a cafe and many awards that the Penske Racing team has won over the years. There is a gift shop up there too Plus when you are done with the museum it is always great to walk the lot and look at the next amazing car you want to buy, be it a Bugatti, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley, McLaren, Land Rover and down the ladder from there!
Very cool place. The staff was very informative and friendly. Absolutely recommend for anyone looking to kill an hour or two
If you love cars then this is the promised land, small but quaint. Has a beautiful collection of different style race cars, history, and trophies upstairs as well as a cafe. Its on a car lot with other exotic cars so when your done at the museum you can go look at the GT3 or maybe a Lambo admission is free as well I will be going back
Fun little museum. Its very small. Friendly staff. We spent more time looking at the cars for sale outside.
This was a fun stop during our visit to Scottsdale. My husband enjoyed it immensely and I even had fun looking at the cars. The building is very nice and the cars are displayed in an interesting yet classy way. The best part: it’s FREE! Do yourself a favor and stop in at this racing museum.
The museum is really awesome. A lot of racing memorabilia and history can be seen here and the facility is immaculate. I cant say as much for the car dealership as my wife were here on two different occasions over 2 days looking at an exotic. We asked for help and ended up buying elsewhere because nobody would come and help us. Maybe we were a little too casually dressed? We likely wouldnt go back to buy a vehicle here but would definitely take friends who are in town to the museum!
This is between the Bentley dealership and Ferrari. What a cool asks unique plave to visit. On Scottsdale and Chaunsey just south of the 101 on Scottsdale. I would look at the cars next door too! Its like a museum too...
Its not just the museum... all of the dealers in the complex make this a worthy stop for any car enthusiast. Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, McLaren, Bentley and others are waiting for you to visit!
I would definitely visit again. Very impressive and staff is excellent. Susy at the front desk was very informative. Thank you!
Awesome no-entry-fee exhibit illustrating Penske’s history. The staff is is well educated, knowledgeable and kind. A pleasure to speak to.Connected to the museum are dealerships for most high end luxury brands: Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Bugatti, Lamborghini et al.Upstairs boasts a nice cafe and unique merchandise retail post.
Very cool place to see if you like cars or racing.
A tremendous dedicated museum which introduces the public to championship racing history.
Nice small museum. Must see for any car fan.
Nice collection of race cars. The deli is amazing with great food. Nice outdoor seating overlooking the dealership so you can watch exotic supercars come and go...nice place for a free peek at the upper crust of sportscars
They are so welcoming. You would think because of the high price luxury cars they would not like the kids to look at the cars but that was far from the case. Had an amazing experience because they allowed us to enjoy our self with no worries
What a little jewel of a museum situated among fast cars and fast money. Such elegance holding such incredible horsepower. A must see for the whole family. Its really hard to get the grin off of your face once you walk through the doors.
Racing history is sitting next to a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley dealership. Some fantastic IndyCar and NASCAR winners from Team Penske. Worth the stop for sure
What an awesome place to visit if youre a racing fan! Its located on Penskes massive retail auto property. The museum includes a bunch of historic stock cars and indy cars that have won Penske a lot of races and championships over the years.
This place is immaculate and pretty interesting to visit, but theres also not much to see so I would definitely call this a must-do unless youre bored one day. The staff are excellent and I can absolutely see it as a great corporate gathering space.
Love The place as a Penske fan its a great Museum
A small museum but some of the best cars over there.
It was a treat to watch so many cars and some of them iconic. Different car manufacturer showroom within a mile. U can easily spend half a day here and head to Scottsdale to have some food :)
This is a great place to see both open-wheel and stock cars. Free to the public and excellent eye-candy. A wonderful piece of recognition to Mr. Penske and his contribution to racing. Take the kids or the family, good friends and racing buddys. You wont be disappointed.
This place was very amazing. It was fun and we enjoyed it.
Susy Driver receptionist was great to talk to. Very knowledge and entertaining. We loved all the cars and information that came along with them. Quite a history. I never knew Iroc camero goes back that far. Thanks for a fun time Susy!
If you enjoy information about the team and the cars. it is very clean and nice!
I got to start up a Ferrari F12. The young guy at Scottsdale Ferrari was wonderful.A dream come true
Great spot to view an Icon in racing. Its free and very interesting
Some amazing cars and the price is right free. Did I say free? Yes, I did free.
This is a cool place to visit if you are in the area. Its a high end car dealership with some race cars and memorabilia. The place is very clean, the race cars are really cool to look at plus you can check out some Lamborghinis and other high end cars at the dealership. There is an area upstairs but it was closed when I went. They do have really nice bathrooms too in case you need a pit stop.
Nice collection of American racing cars, Indy/CART plus NASCAR and memorabilia. It is a very nice place to host events with a huge entertainment area.
Wow, this place is amazing. So clean and front desk lady was very informative and nice. I watch racing and would love to meet Roger Penske in person. Amazing place.made my vacation
Awesome! Brought back many memories from my childhood days as an automotive industry brat. I was at Indy time trials when Sneva broke 200 mph and saw Mears win in #6 years later. Highly recommend!
Cars and engines are immaculate as is the whole museum. Quite a few cars have been moved to a new SoCal museum or on loan for other venues so there isnt as many as prior visits.
A great museum with high quality displays. Only rayed 3 because its a limited display, but highly recommended for enthusiasts.
Roger Penske is a great man. You see that in everything he does.
Quick stop, a free look at some cool racing stuff.
Got come free and free coffee 3rd sat every morning
Great place. Awesome cars went to the cafe for a coffee. I stopped in while on my way to watch a game. Ill go back and give a more detailed review at a later date. But I would recommend it.
Lots of history. Loved it. Wished we new the 2nd level was closed due to a function.
Im amazed this free show isnt packed with people all the time. Great presentation thanks to one of the greTs of all time, Roger Penske.
Nice little museum. The only downside was that they couldnt find anyone to help me purchase some souvenirs from the gift shop. Added bonus is that this is located on the heart of all the high end car dealerships. Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce, etc.
Always clean, friendly staff and theres a cafe upstairs! BONUS!
I was rather disappointed with the Scottsdale, AZ Penske Racing Museum. Very small when you take into consideration the huge impact Roger Penske has had on the motorsports world. Saw some historic cars, just wanted to see more.
Small but a great collection. Its attached to some high end car dealerships that welcome window shoppers.
Small museum but very cool. Well designed, very clean. Lots of seating area upstairs and a Cafe that was good with decent prices. Only complaint would be receptionist was not at all friendly.
Great fun, lots of race history. Excellent
Great collection of Penskes race winning cars. Nice snack bar on the second level along with a souvenir shop. No admission fee. Next door is a multitude of exotic car dealerships. Highly recommended!
Awesome! Plus its next to the Lamborghini shop. Also......your not allowed to play in the lambros......they left the door unlocked so thats basically an invitation, but...its really its not (or so they say ;). *its free to enter the museum.
Entry is free and there is quite a bit of history documented here. Lots of dealerships around for exotic cars. Takes a couple of hours to experience.
Any fan of IndyCar (or motorsport in general) will love this place. Tons of famous open-wheelers you will remember from watching the Indy500. Place is clean and staff are super friendly and informative. While you are there, feel free to visit the dealers attached to the museum.
Great cars with history. All the dealerships along the row are a bonus.
Wonderful atmosphere, amazing cars and just happens to have a restaurant inside
Great place for race fans to check out some race cars up close. It also gives you an opportunity to walk around the dealership and see tons of amazing cars.
Great layout.. Fantastic cars.
This is an awesome place to spend a few minutes or hours at, they have wonderful selection of racecars on display. The facility is outstanding, and then you can walk around dozens of really high end cars. Because its a dealership, and do all this for free. Highly recommended.
Very well done, great place to visit
Great place to bring the family. Cafe upstairs served great food, ask for John he is awesome!
Wow- if you have a thing for speed, this is the place! Different types of race cars on display....famous winners and all. We attended a party for Barrett Jackson weekend and it was fantastic!!!
Great, fun place to see famous cars and, its free. Has a restaurant with limited hours, definitely will go back.
Want to see some beautiful exotic cars this is the place to go.
Like a kid on a candy store! Amazing cars and history! Beautiful daffodils all around the museum.
Its a small museum but it has very cool cars to see, my son was drooling over the cars inside and outside of the museum
Loved it and learned so much from our visit! The race cars are unbelievable! So much to see...you dont want to miss it! The display is marvelous too!
Great variety of historic race cars. They change them frequently so it is always a bit different.
A very nice environment for anyone who has any knowledge of the sport of auto racing. Roger Penske has put a number of cars from his collection in a superb museum setting, and provided a wonderful envirnment to see them up close. The receptionist/greeter was very knowledgeable, and polite, and explained a number of things about the museum to us and Penske himself. The museum is located in the heart of a number of high end car dealerships, which is also a great bonus....we walked along the street and browsed the vehicles, which include dealerships from Roll Royce, Bently, Jaguar, Porche, Land Rover, etc.
Great little display of Rogers many triumphs in racing. You can get up close and see all the way around and inside. Im a fan of CanAm and TransAm, so is a special treat for me.The cafe is pretty nice too if youre spending time waiting on your car to be delivered or fixed.
If you like cars you will love this place and if you dont you still will enjoy viewing.
This makes for a quick stop when you have time to fill. A lot of cars on display (all winners) and will make you quickly realize how successful Penske has been. Even more amazing is this is only a small fraction of winners.
Such a fun, free experience in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area! We took our kids here one afternoon and were blown away by the quality of a complimentary visitors experience. The cars were GORGEOUS and the dealerships adjoining this museum welcomed us to view their supercars as well. Definitely a great place to visit!
Great selection of Penske racing cars past and present as well as dozens of trophies. Beautiful facility
We had an hour to enjoy the Penske Museum while a recall was being done on our BMW so it was a perfect place to tour & we both enjoyed reading the history of the cars & their drivers. I took some pictures & sent our son in Idaho & then we were pleasantly surprised there was a Snack Bar & it served very good food. A great place to take your visiting guests too.
Great place to go and walk around and look through the dealer lots and racing history.
Ok museum to visit although is not alot there to see. Would not go out of my way to visit again.
Very cool for race fans!
Large collection of cars and trophies. If you can I highly recommend the Land Rover off-road course. Food and drinks were also great.
Great place to look at racing history. Free!!! Amazing cars inside. Also just literally a few steps to Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche dealers for additional eye candy.
Fabulous place to visit to see the cars Roger raced in the early sixties, Trans-Am cars that he campaigned on an owner. Indy cars from the sixties to current. Very classy and has a restaurant upstairs.
Very awesome place and pretty rides about you with lots of history too!
Very neat and clean has a bunch of stuff to do with Penske racing.
Free admission any day of the week definitely makes this worth a visit, especially if you are a long term race fan. Great to see the actual old race cars and many trophies on display. They also have some videos on loop showing the Team Penske history and the cars when they were in use. If you visit on the 3rd Saturday of any month they put on a free cars and coffee event out front with a good turn out of some cool cars. The cafe and gift shop upstairs is nice and that area is also open for renting out for corporate events and the upstairs may be closed for an event from time to time.
Small, but very good. Perhaps 15 cars on display including IndyCar, NASCAR, and F1. The driver names on the body panels is a Whos Who of the greats. Plus, its FREE!! And when youre done, go visit the surrounding exotic dealers next door. Ferrari, Aston, Lambo, Rolls, McLaren.
Cool place with some nice cars
Mostly Indy stuff, some NASCAR. A bunch of trophies and a few engines. Pretty awesome standing next to some very famous race cars. Cool to compare the differences between years on the Indy cars.
The museum is a place you can enjoy and it does not take all day to see everything. Indy and NASCAR winning cars on display. Be aware, the cafe grill closes at 2! We missed lunch because the listing was not clear on this. Good place for all ages of race fans.
Excellent place to go look at and take kids
Great place! Make sure you visit the Cafe upstairs!
Great little museum with some interesting cars and free to visit.
Nice lots of history.
Great place to see cool cars. Kid friendly.
As a lifelong IndyCar fan, this is a holy place for me. Truly astonishing.
Had a blast and a great time looking at the racing cars.
Cool place to learn some history about penske
Great little stop off to kill some time - free entry
