Cactus cove is a trailer park tucked in the neighborhood of W Melvin St. It is an eclectic mix of new & old, different types of trailers, as well as apt, and houses. For the area this little community is quite & it is very well taken care of. The people are nice & for the most part stick to themselves. The owner comes across stern and exteremly picky about things, likes to be in control, has cameras all around the area, and basically knows everything that goes on in the park. This isnt a bad thing at all, being in that area she has a great responsibility of her family and the tenants that live there. The owner & her family are hard workers they actually build the trailers, the newer ones. The owner will work with you on deposits and rent as long as you show good faith & dont take advantage of it, overall they are very accommodating. This place does take SO but again that is left up to the owner to determine who will move in.The trailers have swamp coolers, the are clean inside, some have natural gas the others have propane. If you have a AC window unit just let the owner know and they will put it in for you. This is a good place to live if you need something quick or Temporary. I would recommend to a friend.
Management is great. Took a chance on us when nobody else would. Family environment.. really quiet. Management keeps the riff raff out of the park.. Makes you feel like family... Actually cares about your well being..
Its quiet and peaceful. The landlord and Mateniece are always respectful and understanding. One of the best places Ive lived in. Just remember when u come its alot better than it seems
I have a friend who lives there
I wouldnt recommend this place if you have children. Landlord rents units out to stage 3 sex offenders. Definitely not a safe place for a family.. And the back yard always smells like cat piss and the woman who owns the place has a real nasty beard and refuses to trim it Dx
Seemed alright. Not in the best Area but seems to keep it under control. Family owed, an old man owns it and his daughter runs it. Basically whole family lives there, the managers kids live there along with their children and their spouses. Management could use some work. Nice people, just dont have things completely together.
The management of this small, out of the way trailer court were extremely courteous. I was able to look at what was available without someone breathing down my neck pressuring me.Unfortunately they didnt have anything that would fit what I needed, but if it did, I would happily have rented it. And...they werent upset that I was not going to be a new tenant, but wished me the best.I can definitely recommend at least taking a look. And if you are on a budget, it may be worth your time.
The managers are great. It feels more like a big huge family. Almost like were living on a farm without having the farm animals but lots of extra adopted family. We love it here and our 6 year old really loves it here.
So far everyone here is like a big family even the owners and managers help to get all the kids ready for school everyday I love it here
A friend of mine lives here and by no means is management inviting or welcoming at all they are very snobby especially for the part of town do you live in there was no reason or purpose for them to be fat snobby and located on 30th or 27th Avenue and Van Buren it was kind of ridiculous I do not visit my friend anymore
Nice family owned owners
The best ungated gated community to live in. Family owned and operated community where you are part of the family once you move in. Affordable living spaces fairly priced in a wide price range to fit any budget. Im a proud tenant and one of the family. The best onsite Laundry has to be mentioned because you cant beat the price and I havent lost a sock yet.
Great family owned place to live ..secured area ..helpful and caring .
The property managers have turned into true slumlords. They will not fix anything important immediately, they will leave you in the summer with no air for days before they decide to fix it, and they only half fix everything to where you are constantly having to call them and bug them to fix something, mainly the swamp coolers. I would not recommend this place to anybody. They have major problems with sewer roaches as well every 2 to 3 months in the trailers or apartments. The rent is cheap but the aggarvation is not worth it.
Great people . Great place to live. Friendly.
Okay place
Love
Scummy little crappy trailer park.
The manager is rude
It sucks stay away
3rd Ave and McDowell Dr Nathan Payn
Havent been here
I would not recommend this place
The landlord is not a nice person and they charge tenants $10 per visitor if you visit someone that lives there
Freezable Rent
