Awesome venue for parties and gatherings. This particular event was a friends 50th bday surprise party thrown by her daughter. The party area is on the 2nd floor and the steps are not heels friendly, so ladies make sure you wear a flat. Street parking is tight but usually you can use the school parking lot across the street. Very spacious area. The party was a huge success and the birthday girl was very surprised. I would definitely use this place to host a party

I attended a family wedding here which was so much fun! They were able to decorate the place themselves and the courtyard looked amazing. Dinner upstairs was great. Music, dancing, a fire pit, giant sparklers, and good times were had by all!!!

The Maas Building is an incredible hidden gem venue. The space was perfect for our friends wedding. There is plenty of indoor space to go along with the gorgeous outdoor courtyard. Upon pulling up to the building you may think you are in the wrong place as it looks like an old warehouse building. But when you step inside you are transported into a different world. While in the outdoor courtyard you almost forget you are still in the city.

Unusual venue. The courtyard where you enter is eye candy. We saw jazz bands playing new compositions in a small room with vaulted ceilings. Exquisite.

I had my daughters 21st birthday party here this summer and everything was fantastic. The booking was pretty easy and the staff members were very nice and helpful. I could not have imagined a better experience. My family and friends had a great time. People were talking about the space for weeks following the party. A few people were even talking about renting it for their events. I am considering it for my birthday party next year. I can not recommend this place enough. If you want a great space that you can transform into whatever your event call for, MAAS is the place.

Great venue with indoor/outdoor space and plenty of street parking around. Super cozy atmosphere with lots of rustic charm and old world style. A perfect place for a small gathering. Went to a wedding here and it was tons of fun!

Im a wedding planner who recently planned a wedding at The Maas and I cant say enough great things about the space and the team there. The space is one of the most unique venues in Philadelphia for intimate wedding and events. There is a great outdoor lawn and patio space as well and a great upstairs loft space that can be used throughout the event in a variety of ways. Its a very multifunctional space and there are so many ways you can set it up and use it to its best potential. Looking forward to doing many more wedding there in the future!

It was an interesting venue for a wedding, somewhat limited space, but...very NOT wheelchair accessible, stairs required with steep pitch, handrail on left only, no bathrooms upstairs, courtyard very rough cobblestone, no parking except on busy street, but an interesting venue...fire pit nice feature, rustic

If youre a couple looking for an incredibly photogenic venue, Maas is your dream come true. I am a wedding photographer and have worked several weddings at Maas, and each one was so different. There are so many unique backdrops at this space and because of all of these beautiful areas, its gorgeous rain or shine. Everyone from Maas is a treat to work with and they truly know what they are doing. Its the perfect venue for a couple who wants a gorgeous space, to stay in the city but away from the congestion, and wants freedom when it comes to vendors, food, etc. Cant recommend the space enough.

Had our wedding reception at the Maas and it was nothing short of amazing. Would highly recommend it if you’re looking to have a smaller affair. It certainly has a ton of character and is a very versatile space; one that makes a statement on its own, but is adaptable if you’re looking for a more DIY feel.

Originally old time Industrial building converted to space for creative folks. Wood floor for dancing large windows for daylight. Upstairs space with massive wood beams gives off rustic barn feel.

Ambiance and hidden gem in the city

For architecture fans this is a near building. Second floor is large open space with exposed wide wood beams and brick walls. Space is rented to host local arts, music and cultural events. And itd make a great location for a photo shoot.

I had my wedding here and it was the best night of my life. The venue was incredible.

Its a cool venue, has great potential. But for a larger party like a wedding where both sides of the families are large there is a problem. Space upstairs is limited & the restroom situation needs to be fixed, 1 stall for men & 1 for women so the lines get long. Unless i missed some they are only downstairs. The garden area is nice theres a firepit to hang out at strands of lights everywhere very cool atmosphere. Its not really wheelchair accessible and not the greatest for people with mobility issuses. Parking was an issue was told we would be able to park in a schoolyard across the street but it was closed.

Im sure I could go inside and take a peek and see what the building till about but Im not Muslim so Im not going to.

Small and rustic space. Hardwood floors, brick walls and exposed beams; one large room upstairs with bathroom on the lower level.

We attended a wedding here and had a wonderful time. Quiet neighborhood. Quaint atmosphere. Great dance floor upstairs.

My aunt wrote this place a check and they doubled the payment of the check. I WENT TO THE AUTHORITIES. THESE PEOPLE HAVE A THIEF WORKING FOR THEM AND DONT EVEN KNOW IT.
