Lovely little area to relax and read a book. Some fascinating statues to learn some history of Pensacola. Just a little rift raft(homeless) hanging out. Only one individual who was unreasonable sat close to me for no reason and lit a cigar. Recommend during shopping to take a break. I did so as my family was shopping.
No one asked me for money.People clearly sleeping in tents, not one bothered us while we walked through Pensacola. It was a nice day
Its a beautiful park with a fountain
Last night was amazing so I met these crazy girls downtown and got permission first before posting their photo so they were so cool and a little crazy but when I say the nice peaceful atmosphere relaxing you can take a nice walk bring the kids the dogs it wouldnt have cost me anything but we stopped and got drinks in food and I must say Pensacola has come a long way didnt even seem like I was right here in the city thanks Pensacola
This is a serene respite in the midst of the downtown bustle lined with historic landmarks. Also, bring some seed or nuts coupled with patience and the squirrel may just eat from your hand!
A great place to walk the dogs or meet with friends. Close to resturaunts and reasonable free parking this park is maintained by the city and is always clean and pleasant to visit. A nice place to walk and people watch. Definitely an underused treasure in Pensacola.
Just a great place to enjoy the air, scenery and history.
This a place where tourists dine across the streets in fine restraunts while watching the homeless starve to death in the park...most ignored, stepped over, forgotten. Good job Pensacola.Do you know why homeless beg downtown?A main reason is Waterfront Mission CHARGES the homeless ten dollars every night they let them in...TRUTH.
Parked in front while waiting for the wife. Would be happier if there was more parking. I marked it down for trash in the fountain that looked like it had been there for a while. Maybe I should mark down the people who cant walk 10 feet to a trash can. The kids liked sitting in the park in the sun and reading. For the most part, it was easy to sit in car and watch them in park.
I love this park. Not as much for the park itself, but it seems to be the setting for many community events. It was part of Gallary Night, a once a month street fair/party they have. It is also adjacent to the Saturday market. If you go take time to look around carefully. There are little bits of Pensacola history everywhere you look.
Great serene park. Nice walkways & beautiful structures.
Love love this place lots of good food on art night or the seafood festival lots of place or spots to chill and talk to friends here
A beautiful little park for a stoll with a loved one or friends. Surrounded by all types of food shop it would be easy to get food and wlak off the calories lol
Good place to take your dog x a walk
Beautiful place with an incredible view. Not only a relaxing area to rest in between walking across the downtown area, but also a wonderful spot to read and learn about some history of the Pensacola area. The plaza has a plethora of benches with enough room for everyone to sit. There are squirrels and other life all around
Nice place to read some details of the history in pensacola
Love place to sit and enjoy the historic down town Pensacola.
Great little Pensacola get away. Quick and easy access. In a wonderful part of old town Pensacola.
Great place for pokemon
Best place to play Pokemon Go while partying
Its very peaceful...
Love this downtown spot!
Lovely plaza downtown. Pretty fountain and shady trees.
This place would be so beautiful if they could do something about the beggars and pandhandlers. Theyre non threatening, but its just a bit annoying. There will be panhandlers in every city around the country though..just one of those tragic realities .nevertheless..worth a visit
Benches and shade trees
Beautiful place to stroll on a Sunday afternoon. Went for the statue and view. Got nice photos.
Very nice park to walk
This is just beautiful at Christmas time. Not to cold to walk around.
Beautiful place & great to take Pictures
The weather rules, on a comfortable dry day its a great place to talk and watch people and squirrels.
A bit dirty. If it was clean, Im pretty certain it would be amazing.
A wonderful place to relax
Very clean, very secure. Great area for kids, puppies, and just relaxing, sitting on a bench watching the world go by...
Great place to visit and it is worth the visit
I would give this place a 5-star its great its comfortable the only bad thing is the upkeep is not-so-good the fountain has gotten dirty over the last four months it seems like nobodys really attending to it
Great looking park, the homeless population is slowly growing here unfortunately.
Very beautiful park in the downtown Pensacola area. Relaxing, peaceful and quaint. Good for walks with pets or on your own.
Beautiful plaza named where Indian killer Andrew Jackson was sworn in as territorial governor. If any statue should be removed his bust should be busted. He hated the Indians and originated the Cherokee Indians Trail of Tears. He tried to kill the Florida Seminoles. He is a disgrace to hunanity.
Historical and beautiful
Best Pre-Birthday Ever
Nice open park with lots of history.
Its a great place to sit and relax.
Cute little park in the middle of downtown. A bit too much hustle & bustle for me to consider it really relaxing, but its nice for people watching.
Love just watching the people
Interesting historical plaques, pleasant park with talk trees and cared for landscape.
Nice little Park
Sit down, be humble. Pay it forward. Put some money in the charitable parking meters.
Its all about the beauty and the history
This is another beautiful park for just sitting and enjoying the beauty of Pensacola.
Historic and beautiful, and it felt safe. Interesting and informative signage.
Beautiful little park nestled in between the busy business in downtown Pensacola, Florida.
A part of Pensacola history. Take the time to read all the plaques
Many different stores, good shopping everyone.
Lovely park in Downtown Pensacola.
Historic and beautiful in the heart of downtown Pensacola. Great places around, to eat or grab a drink!
Nice park.
Lots of pokemon stops around here. The view is also nice when its not dark out. Be careful when it gets dark.
Awesome, beautiful, nice area to take a long walk.
Great during the day, beautiful with lots of trees. Like the rest of downtown Pensacola, be careful when it gets dark.
I really love this area of Pensacola.
Beautiful little park! For me the highlight was the “cha-cha” instructions embedded in the concrete at the corner near Zaragoza and S Palafox. Other than that nothing for kids but it’s a great place for a picnic or photo op.
Rich in history!
It was really cool I enjoyed the view
Great history and comforting gathering.
Nice square in middle of downtown Pensacola. No play equipment for kids but good for picnic.
Beautiful park with terrific views
One of my favorite places to stop
Awesome park. TT Wentworth museum is terrific. A few other historical sites are very near as well.
Great place to start your walk walk around downtown Pensacola, FL.
Beautiful park but many transient people.
Very nice environment. Loved the view of the street.
A lovely place to walk around.
Very nice park. Great place to relax.
Nice area
Great views of the bay and lots of Pokémon to catch.
Great for walks plus love historic
It is quite a wonder on cold days because it freezes the fountain
Beautiful park.
Such a beautiful park in the heart of downtown Pensacola.
Nice park
Beautiful and peaceful
It was nice out
Beautifully decorated local park
The park is nice but there were several homeless people sleeping, puke by the benches, and food debris left laying on the ground
Plaza Ferdinand adds beauty to a beautiful city.
