As far as parks go, its nice. It has a basketball court, restrooms, a play area for kids, a nice little gazebo, and an open field with a backstop in case you want to play baseball, or have a picnic. The best part of this park is also its worst quality. It is very well hidden. You can go on any given day and youll probably be alone. If you are having a birthday party, that probably very appealing. If youre walking by yourself, its probably not.I have no reason to think this, but i just cant help feeling the park is really sketchy. I think its because it seems so isolated. Ive never had anything bad happen to me, but I cant say Im 100 percent comfortable being here by myself.
In a bit of a sketchy place but would recommend for attentive adults with children or to play basketball
Its so peaceful. Always nicely cutt and cleaned.
This is a cute little neighborhood park tucked back out of the way. They have a nice walking trail with new bridges, though some of it can flood after rain. They have a nice covered basketball court with a 1 full or 2 short setup. They have a small playground on one side and a large grassy area on the other. The is parking for maybe 15 vehicles or so. I liked it for a quick walk during a local visit and can see lots of ways to utilize it for gatherings and activities, but it could get overrun in a hurry by a particularly large group if the locals are also out there.
Not too much I can say since it was pretty late in the evening the first time I made a visit -- and the only time, so far -- but Satsuma Park is a pretty good place to take a break if youve been walking around Pasadena for a while, especially on hot summer days. It seems to be a good place for parents to let their small children play over on the playset with the slides and all that, and a basketball court in the park has a roof over it so that can make some good shade for casual games with friends. However, I would not recommend stopping here to use the bathroom, because the bathrooms here are extremely old and rusty, not to mention smelly.
My grandma lived in that neighborhood so as a little girl I played over there A lot it was cool to take my child there it seems so much bigger when I was younger but its nice and quiet and good to take your family to
It has a cover roof

Nice little park with playground, picnic tables, covered basketball court, and a gravel walking path. I have been here to eat lunch several times and walk a lap or two.
My kids love it.
Quiet park. A little older, but it was alright for my child. Basketball court looked like it could be a hit during the summer.
Greater family fun
