Well...what can be said about good old Jackie Robinson Park You know?...It is a great park. The playground is closed due to COVID-19; however, there are still people who run the track and practice on the field. The elephant in the room is that its in the hood yall. Rrrrat tah tah tah! But I have never felt unsafe nor experienced any unpleasantries, and I visit nearly once a week for the past year now. The basketball court is open, though I never see anyone play. Nets are just fine- not ripped or missing. Aside from the community of friends and family that hang out and maybe possibly smoke pot (ahem), it has fairly little traffic, is always clean, has a bathroom and fountains, is well lit, and a nice spot to walk your dog (take poopy bags and clean up after your pets, please ). Welp...that bout sums that up. Peace and blessings

This place has completely changed over the years. My kids swim here now. There is great pool with a fee I believe. However its nice to have a place like this in the community. They also have a weight room and a room for what I assume could be for yoga and or ballet.

Its a beautiful park. And thankfully the restrooms are publicly available despite the pandemic. :D

Our quilt circle met there for the first time since the remodel. It was a great experience. The facility is clean, the staff was wonderful and so helpful. Looking forward to returning.

Too many homeless people living and camping out on the lawn homelessness seems to be a problem around the Jackie Robinson

This was my first time at this facility. Even though I have driven past it many times I never visited. My first impression was WOW!! This is really nice. First class all the way.

Very nice building! Although, some of the staff need communication training. It is a priveldge to work there.

A big baseball field a gym to join and a place for kids to have fun

Very clean and taken care of; the rec room is spacious and the restrooms are clean and well stocked.

Im giving this place 5 stars just cuz I got sum action from my best bud K! (So park wil forever b in our memory) Other than that I feel like an alien ; from all the rude starring from randoms.. but parks nice & clean ... oh but the drinking fountains suck, so that really needs to b fixed

Summer swim lessons for grandson. Great park playground n baseball...tennis...basketball n Soccer fields. Saw great summer camp too.

Its clean Family/Educational/Seekers of a Healthier Life Type were the surroundings. It was good.

A beautiful sports facility. Unfortunately, our first time there we didnt know where to park and ended up near the north west corner of the park. It really only takes overhearing the threat of pulling a gun once to give a park a poor rating. I recommend parking at the south east corner for 9 year old baseball tournaments.

Nice park...and a food truck right on fair oaks by the park(Taqueria Ramires)...best mexican food ever.very tasty.

Went to Grand Opening and was PLEASANTLY surprised with all the brand new services/activities available, in this BEAUTIFUL, new facility!!!! From the new, indoor basketball court, to the indoor gym as well as the classes offered now at Jackie Robinson Recreation Center. This was long overdue to the community & well worth the investment!!!! Jackie would be PROUD!!!!!

Great turf fields ready for soccer, football, or baseball. Reservations are required for the use of the turf field.

Sadly this park has lost the namesake from Robinson to Hernandez....

Very well maintained field. 5 stars for the baseball field. 1 star for the neighborhood. Surrounding area isnt so friendly, especially at night....Cars driving by with loud music, people smoking marijuana, saw an arrest a couple of weeks ago.
