Amazing park with huge old redwoods. Great place to run around with the kids.

Very large park really well located on the free cross city bus line, and next to the library and arts center. There are tennis courts and basketball courts here, as well as large open grassy areas and other areas completely shaded by large trees. There are a few playground areas and a school connected to the park which is fenced off. The star of the show is an olympic style pool, which looks to be in great condition. Its a great place to bring kids or just watch the local wildlife.

Not the best playground or field, but its near tennis courts, the art center, a library, and a pool! Great rec area.

Wonderful community resource, and having the community pool back in service for lap swimming after the COVID-19 shutdown is amazing.During normal operations, the park is a bit unstructured, but very comfortable when you are familiar with it.

There are 2 playgrounds outside the pool area, for toddlers and for older kids. You have to pay small amount to use the pool amenities. Pool has changing booth, kids sprinkles, pools with different depth, chase-lounge, restrooms.

I come here to play Tennis. The fields are very well maintained and they are never too busy.

Too long of a wait of over 1 hour...not worth it

Its good for all ages. From infants to 100 years & older. The water is always tested for cleanliness. Life guards are always on the watch, friendly staffs. You can bring your own food. $18 for family of 5 for non residents.

Awesome park, but over crowded to the point where they werent letting anyone else in. Save yourself the frustration and call first, or better yet make a different plan. Also, to the staff: you guys are amazing. Thanks for putting together a wait list. I recommend taking it a step further and setting up a reservation system if this keeps up. It will make your lives easier. Thanks!

The park with sports facilities, tenniss places, swimming pool. And surrounded with different activities. Library, musium ...... You will enjoy your day here. And best of all, it has rest room

I love the swim team pasa here!! Its close by my house and it has a super cool playground of public art made from tree branches. Its so cool!!

Decent playground but impossible to find every time! I dont know why its so hard for me but I always miss it (maybe its the directions Im getting on Google maps).

Overall a great park to spend the day with the kids. Grass area is well maintained, restroom very clean and there are two playgrounds for kids of different age.

Best pool for lap swim year round, even when its raining.

This is an old fashioned city park. There are 2 playgrounds (one for toddlers, one for older kids), a skating rink where kids practice skating and oldster practice tai-chi, and a public swimming center with 2 pools (one is a very large wading pool for the young kids, the other is a lap pool with one end for diving). Weekdays the larger swimming pool is used for lessons, lap swim, and masters.swimming. The rest of the park has large lawns you can picnic in (some spots must be reserved and have tables and barbeque be pits, while the rest is open space). It is adjacent to the Junior Museum (being rebuilt, but opening next spring or summer of 2020), the Childrens Theatre, the adult theatre (Theatre Works), and a large community center. There is also a Girl Scout house and, at the community center, an ampetheater for the Boy Scouts. It is lovely.

Fun place for kids when its hot out. It can get pretty crowded on nice, warm days so get there early if possible. They also have 15 min breaks every 90 mins when some people choose to leave so if it is a capacity and you really want to get in, dont give up! Showers are great and theres even a centrifuge like machine that dries out your clothes! Kids had fun jumping off the spring boards.

Great pool for younger kids water play - lots of shallow water, sloped entry, small water slide, and water jets. Arrive early on summer weekends - frequently reaches capacity. Smaller lap pool is clean and good condition. Locker rooms are roomy, and reasonably clean for a public facility.

The park is nice and normally pretty clean. The bathrooms are not amazing.. Sometimes they are pretty gross and far from the playground. The pool was wonderful.. Not too busy. The bad part was how little the lifeguards care about whats going on. There were kids with water guns spraying everyone, include my baby and toddler. When I asked the guard about this he said as long as they arent bothering anyone then the water guns are allowed. I pointed out that they had sprayed my children more than one time and he did nothing about it. There were also a lot of kids in street clothes in the pool or just in their underwear.

One of the best parks in Palo Alto.

I come here often for the tennis court. They have lights that that last until 10pm. You have to press the button for the lights too, itll beep to give you a couple minutes to turn it off. Try to get to it quickly, because if it shuts off, the lights take a long time to turn back on. Courts have been resurfaced recently too.

Really fun park for the kids

Every year, the Air Force Band of the Golden West, plays here. Five years running so far. They are from Travis Air Force Base; a few hours away. Its very uncommon to see military bands playing just so U know.

Beautiful park with lots of room to play in sun or shade. Features include childrens playground, tennis courts and lots of grass and trees. Free bathrooms are available close to the pool.

Fantastic pool area for kids with sprayers and lots of space. There are some picnic tables and grass outside the pool area to eat and run around.

Come early or wait till they have room for you to get in.

Had my first kiss here back in the 80s. 5 stars for the magic forest, maybe 2 for the kiss. LoL

Large city park with open fields, tall trees for shade, a public swimming pool (outdoor heated), restrooms, etc. Adjacent to the city library and community center. A very nice public facility.
