Great place to go for a walk, to take your kids or even your furry friends. The park is always very well kept.
Amazing place to take your kids for an afternoon or early morning play. The ice cream man usually walks by there, therenis ankiquor store down the street if you need any quick snacks or you can go 2 streets further and get to smart n final or walmart .
RE dog park. 1 big dirt bowl, with devil spurs. Does have water, shade and benches. No comparison with Palm Springs or Rancho Mirage dog parks.
The horrid odor of the human waste plant the next block over wafts into the park. The smell is so wretched and strong, you can practically taste it.There was a puddle of urine on the bottom of one of the slides.Enough said.
People think that park is a gym or a.football.field in their back yard. Jeezz no wearing mask? How about the decency of other people that they need to walk and they need to wear mask. Come one people if you dont wear mask dont go to public spaces. Care for the ofhers
Today around 12pm small dog park sprinklers started to work. We were wet and I do not think this is good timing.
This was me at the Palm springs animal shelter. Its a great place that does good work. Adopt an animal today.
Never go there. To much crime activity there. No good.
A little run down, they are making improvements to the pickleball courts which is appreciated
Beautiful park. And now is very peaceful and quiet.
Nice clean park, has a lot of parking, bike riding paths, dog areas, baseball fields, large field for soccer, a kids playground, walking/jogging paths, picnic benches, clean restrooms, and a tennis court. The park is next to a golf field and it has beautiful mountain views. Its a nice park for everyone to enjoy! You have to call the park dept (Demuth Park Community Center) to find out if you have to reserve/pay for park areas for large parties, sport events, or other events.
Public pickle ball courts are great. Palm Springs clearly values family values. Thank you Palm Springs!
Softball fields were great overall. Dirt was a little thin and infields were a little hard, but overall it was well maintained. Trash cans were small and filled up fast and with the wind they started blowing stuff all over.
Great park, all the amenities, clean and well care for. A great place to visit.
It certainly has changed over the years, its looks to be 4 times larger ! You could have 3 soccer games and 5 or 6 baseball or softball games all going at the same time, there s tennis courts, a kiddie play area and a dog park ! It s pretty cool out here, lots of room too run and jump, even had some speed walkers zoom by me this morning ! Some advise bring your own shade because there are not a lot of trees, bring your own water since water fountains are few and far between! One last thing, if you choose to sit on the grass, watch out for doggie surpizses, it seems that a lot of people dont use the dog area for their dogs to do their business ? Have fun enjoy the sun.
Acres of green grass, walking paths, a large fenced dog park (large dogs only). Softball, baseball and soccer areas. Restrooms, and a young kids play area. We are lucky to have such a well maintained park in our city.
Great pickleball courts
A nice clean and well kept park. Had a cool tennis court. Perfect for a walk, a jog with your pet. Also nice for your kids to have a bonding or a picnic.
A great place to get out of the rain. I could shop these stores at home as they are all chains. Interesting design.
Great place to day ball. Only down side is no food on location. A food truck or snack bar would be helpful.
Close to home. Next to a course and beautiful view of the mountains. Also good for walking with your
Palm Springs largest park. Great for softball, baseball, football, tennis - all the courts planned out and lit for evening use. Play parks for kids, with water fountains to keep the little ones cool on hot summer days. 2 dog parks, large and small have their own places to play at either end of park. Great foot path and bike route to meander along golf course and take it all the beautiful mountain and desert views. Peaceful, refreshing, rejuvenating place!
Nice park to have lunch
The Park is a very large Park. There is a dog area with a separate area for small dogs. I took the bike ride on the path that starts on Sunrise and goes all the way to DeMuth Park the ride is quite a nice ride thru a very beautiful area. Be sure to take plenty of water to drink. Early morning is nice however the sunset is beautiful in late September.
This park is excellent for just about anything. There are 12 pickleball courts and the park in general is kept very well-maintained.
A favorite of my dogs.
Nice park but need repairs half the slides were boarded up and the mens restroom was overflowing. THE SMELL OF RAW sewage was pretty nasty but considering its adjacent to a water treatment plant.
Decent park. Just dont stay there pass 8pm, the irrigation sprinklers come up with recycle water
Great place for a picnic dinner!
Perfect to have a picnic or go out for a jog. Its a big park with beautiful trees all around.
Its a big dog park which we like. The only bad thing is that no one picks up after their pet. You should pick up after your pet no matter if your by yourself or with other dogs. Not to much fun if your dog is stepping in others dogs carp. I guess the owner feels that they are to good to pick up after there dog. They do provide bags.
Demuth Park, is very spacious with enough space to walk both people and dogs without bumping into very many of either. It has green rolling grass hills as well as baseball and soccer fields. A playground for the young is also available at the far end of the park. Take time to just go and relax, serenity at no cost. My idea of heaven.
The dirt bowl is an awful alternative to a dog park. Its nasty dirty, few people pick up after their dogs. I have been riding dirty and letting my dogs run in the grass, also a nasty mess of litter and food scrapes left behind by people attending the soccer game. But its better than the dirt bowl
Great. I practiced soccer and a quiet environment..
Sprinkler system for public would be nice
Great park but too close to the water reclamation plant.
Good place in the daytime for kids to play and to walk dogs, but not enough light at night, would not feel safe. Tennis courts are lit
Very nice Green Park fairly heavily used. Brought my two little puppy dogs here and they enjoyed the park. Nice that they provide the bag so you can pick up after your dogs.
It was a nice park. my son liked the amenities.
Spread out. Baseball and soccer fields. Great for hosting reunions, bbqs, sport events. The flies (no see-ums) close to twilight are unbearable. Very close to water treatment plant and sometimes the odor travels throughout the entire park.
Large park with baseball/softball fields, rest rooms, grass area...nice place to walk..dog parks too.
Has everything there from water toys to dog park
Good place for family gettogeters, has several baseball diamonds & soccer fields.
Huge park beautiful views animal friendly lots to do
Kids love it. Play area needs some repairs.
My dad enjoys the park
Nice play to gather with the family and your furry friends as well!
Nice park but there is no lights in the playground.
A beautiful park, with tall slides, a mini zip line, mini climbing wall, and a separate toddler playground. The flooring is ripped up and there was a bit of garbage but the grass and trees are stunning. It was hard to enjoy because it overwhelming smelled like poop. There was a sign that they used reclaimed water and I think this is why. Also, there is a hazardous waste disposal site next to it!
Nice big park, every thing from soccer fields to baseball fields to tennis courts
Was a great place for my 4 year old to let loose. The is a HUGE structure with adequate shade. There is also a smaller fenced in structure for little ones. There are washrooms near by, and shaded picnic tables nearby as well.
Fantastic park to run my dog. Go at dawn when animal control is still sleeping. Follow the road at the west side and drive south and east to the turn around. Dog poop bags are supplied. If you have a well behaved day run the dog off leash to the east end of the grass. Then up the rise to the golf course. My dog loves chasing tennis balls over the hills and around sand pits. Run west and reenter the park. Pick up after your dog. Ive always been welcome by the golf course employees and managers. Take a bottle of water. Stay of the greens.
A nice park for dog walking, picnics, kids to play. Large park. Nicely maintained.
I take my kids on Sunday nice park
Could use more restrooms but the pickleball courts are amazing.
Park is the best to bring your dogs. It is really big and they have a lot of grass. Also it is really good for bike riding
I enjoy my morning Yoga Class as well as the fellowship of people you meet who are exercising along with you. Good old fashion American Valuses.
Clean, quiet, always and activity happening.
Nice park. Good soccer fields.
Went to watch a Baseball game. This park is lovely...green grass lushness .Nice ballpark.Bathrooms were large and fairly clean.
Lots of space
Great playground for young kids (up to about 9 or so). Well kept grounds and play apparatus, a bunch ch of shade trees and ample parking (on street and in the free lot).
Great family park so much to do!!!
What a great park with so many activities. Soccer, baseball, pickleball, and more.
Restrooms are in poor condition. Overall park is ok. Watch out for the palm trees as there are not probably maintained.
Nice big park for the kids but its next to a sweage plant or something so expect it to be smelly when the breeze comes through.
This is a great place for activities like walking dogs, Morning strolls, bike rides, etc. it’s a community park with baseball fields, soccer areas, tons of parking and lots of grass. ️
Its friendly & supportive of the Community!
Clean getting safer. Bathrooms too.
The weather was better as it finally cooled off . More people can really enjoy this nice park and it is beconing safer in the bathrooms and less vandalism is now occurring . Safety crossing tbe street and safety walking your dog on leash only are critical suggestions to reduce coyote influence. If you enter tbe Golf Course from the park . Do not take your Dog with you into golf course city ordinamce means you could be cited.Coyotes may eat your dog if that happens to not be ypur desire I stongly encpurahe you to use fenced in contdilled areas 4 to 8 coyotes have recently been seen and tracked at the demuth park. And on surrounding neighborhoods.
Its nice but Stinks
A peaceful beautiful park . Lots of parking. Views.
Its a good place to meet people. Nice friendly locals. And very clean park to go for a walk with your doggie or play baseball or just have a place to eat.
Loved it
The bayjrooms were quite .....ummmm.....ehhhh.....Well they were busy? Occupied ? Oh ok Ill just say it - there was more action in there than every die hard movie put together .. And funny thing is that would be ironic but not uncommon for palm springs citizens.
Are those clean knives that people are cool and my dogs love it there I try to be courteous to others when the dogs cuz I dont have them on the leash so if you see me there and I have three little dogs dont be scared they dont bite
There is a small dog run lots of grass and trees, playground equipment and baseball feild. The grounds always are well maintained.
It had a nice play area and the park was clean for the most part and it is quite big.
Smells like sewage... Poorly cared for
Nice park but some of the slides boarded up
Playing softballAlways enjoy being
Awesome Whether, Good sidewalks for rollerblading Or walking
Great open space for kids and dogs
Great park to play soccer and baseball
Fun fun fun not like the other parks in palm springs that overrun by homeless camps
I Love this park. You can see what was once Bo Hoes home in the mountains.
One of Palm Springs many fantastic parks.. perfect for taking the kids most any day of the year.
Very spacious
Kids love it and its right down our street
