It was really hot (as Palm Springs usually is). I was trying to find one particular bravolebrity & found other icons as well. It was nice because not too many people were around, it was a wed morning, & every person I saw was adhering to the mask wearing. l would have lasted longer if it weren’t for my husband & 2 little baby boys. Will come back again!(when it’s not 116°)
Downtown Palm Springs offers something for everyone. The weather is perfect for an evening stroll down the Walk of Stars. A variety of restaurants and bars with patio seating and every kind of food you desire. We took a seat at the Tommy Bahamas Marlin outdoor bar & enjoyed some great coconut shrimp & chicken sliders with our cocktails. Great boutiques for shopping & visited Lolli & Pops candy store. It was a great time!
Are you kidding me I love Palm springs I love this place this place is worth visiting it is the most beautiful desert Ive ever been in in my entire life
Its fun to walk and see all the different names on the stars!
Huell Howser, Col. Tom Parker, and Lisa Vanderpump. Literally all my favorites.
I went to see the statue on my way back to Los Angeles and it wasn’t there. Very sad
Great art for the entire family. Amazing Star Wars art work. Wish we had more time to explore the outside garden.
Walk of the stars is like walking at the Hollywood walk of fame.
Fun winter event! Walk back into the 40s and 50s and see the old hotels just like they used to be, only better! Then go downtown to the street fair.
Just as bad as the one in hollywood-
Nothing open in the morning to hot when open at 11am. Covid 19 messing it up.
Great place to take a walk, enjoy shops, history. Want to go back and spend more time there.
I just love everything about Palm Springs.
Street fair gets 5 stars but for the Walk of Stars it feels, rather it is, stuffy and just no longer relevant. Names sound familiar but they are all very old, as in deceased. So very few people under 75 will ever have known why these Hollywood stars earned their star and reputation. They should every ten years allow new people to earn their star keeping it all current, not ancient. The younger generations dont care about Fred Waring anymore other then they know a street is named after him..with all due respect. People want to see things of their time.
Loads of stars to stroll and view on many streets. Historic, fun area. Lots of shops along the way for souvenirs, food, snacks, clothes. Street side seating at many shops so you can rest and watch the scenery. Palm trees line the streets. Laid back atmosphere. Great views of surrounding mountains.
Its great nice night staff great hot tub. Brice layout and fun atmosphere.
Great experience. Probably my favorite activity in PS. There are many amazing restaurants and shops along walk. It makes for a very fun date night. Wish we loved closer and could go back more often.
Interesting attraction in palm springs. The city is always beautiful and the stars are a cool sight as tou walk along the main street.
When youre in Downtown Palm Springs its always worse walking around and checking out the shops. There was an old record shop that had lots of old school paraphernalia and posters. Lot of fun to look through it. I would definitely recommend trying out some of the restaurants there as well as Off the Strip. summer prices summer reasonable
A fun Thursday night thing to do in Palm Springs this summer. Loved walking up and down the streets listening to music, and checking out the merchant booths
I recommend to go there at night. Lights will be magnificent and temperatures are lower
Fun and historical walk.See how many (or few) names you recognize.
What fun! We met lots of new friends and saw lots of Hollywood stars homes. I felt like such a tourist lol...Will do it again next year
Love palm Springs great place to visit Thursday evenings street fair wit music food and lot of things to see.
Im downtown almost every Thursday for the street fair. Something for everybody! And, its dog friendly.
This is cool. Lots of old early film stars are honored. Have not seen Hollywood star walk but this is pretty cool.
Very cool place to walk in round and explore
Really great place to stroll get ice cream shop get a drink. 10 pm at night and feel safe with my teens
A bit of a joke. So many Palm springs residents but their own star and list themselves as a humanitarian. Who cares. Stop asking for thank you...real humanitarians dont need that.
I love all the stores to many good things
It would have been better if I knew or heard of at least 4 of them. Other than that, it was cool.
A walk of stars in the desert who lived here...makes a great walk and talk stroll...
Fun to walk past the Stars and statues as you walk down the street. Lots of nice shops and restaurants along the way.
Extremely hot weather. Nice to walk around, wear a hat and sunblock.
Its old Hollywood with a need of a face lift. Everywhere we went was old and over priced.
These stars are old Skool.....and include people from adjacent to the industry not just stars.
Excellent authentic mexican cantina. Indoor and outdoor tables and bar. Live music, lively and really busy. Order some marguritas and nachos, just chill and enjoy
Fun to see names of all the old stars
Nice walk with stores. Be prepared with warm clothes if planning to walk later in the eve.
Its a nice little walk that pays tribute to some celebrities from the past, along with some local luminaries. Nice places to shop & eat along the way. I walk with my dog down there about once a week.
It was a great walk and lots little shops to see. Kind of expensive.
Fun, local recognition...production values!
A fun way to remember the past.
Had such a blast, nice city
Waaaaay better than Hollywoods. Much cleaner BUT.. Palm Springs walk of starts are more older famous people
Great place for people watching..
Fun! Lots of shops and food.
This was cool to read all the old stars that were back in the day in the movies.
So much fun to look at the stars!
Long walk to see all the stars. Sidewalks are clean. Many shops along the way
Great place to visit very informative of stars
Love it
Fun to learn what some of the honorees did
So cool to get this experience in such a great place like Palm springs
Hmmm.... So theres Hollywood.... And then Palm Springs... Something about having Palm springs kind of copy catting... But in any case, Palm Springs is awesome.
I think it would be nicer if there were informational cards to better direct tourists
Enjoyed walking down the sidewalk and looking at the stars and reading the names of the stars and community.
I enjoyed all around will be visiting again soon.
If you are expecting something like the Hollywood walk of fame, you may be disappointed. Quite a few of the names will be unfamiliar unless maybe you are a local. July was probably not the best time to visit (it was very hot and humid) - it is possible that we would have enjoyed it a little more had it been more comfortable to be outside!
Okay I give Palm Springs three stars on this its a bit of a Hollywood knock off. But it is cute to see and many people pay attention to the names.
Its just stars on the ground you just literally walk and look at them. Guess it was a 5 star experience I didnt fall down while walking.
Fun with friends! How many stars do you know?
Very nice town and area
Always fun to walk the stars
Always fun for tourists, and shopping, & restaurants galore
I still love this town
We visisted the street fair downtown PS, it has gotten quite big and there is a wide selection of things to eat and things to buy. Artwork, knickknacks and street musicians add to the ambience.
Ive really appreciated the opportunity to see such a lovely area.
Nice walk, fun day.
The Palm springs walk if stars is the most beautiful slipping hazard Ive gotten the pleasure of checking out.Features include:Names. Famous names. So many names. By the time you see them all youll be tired of names.Smoothness. You could cook an egg on these babies and scoop it off no problem these are smooth. You can also slip in the rain and crack your head open like a watermelon. Its your life. You do you. Police will probably show up either way.Speaking of, another feature: Police. Lots of them. Some undercover. No need to worry about drunk drivers. CHP and PSPD have this place watched like the declaration of Independence.Drunk people. Drunk people dancing in the street. Drunk people making out. So many drunk people. Usually just on Saturday and Mardi gras though. Also there are like a bunch of stores. Ive heard theyre alright.Last but not least, the biggest Starbucks Ive ever seen. You want to throw a party in a Starbucks? Well youre weird. But this place can fit like 50 people easy.
Nice walk down star-studded memory lane.
See the history of acting, arts, radio, tv,stage. A century of names.
Great food and atmosphere but waitress was a little snooty
Definitely worth visiting!
Cool to walk down but was slightly busy. It was a nice little walk though.
A lot of fun seeing all the names and what they have done for Palm Springs.
Never a dull moment in the walk of the stars, lots of restaurants, bars with music, clothing stores. And places to stay.
Love Palm Springs. Nice people. Good food.
Pretty cool, they have it almost like Hollywood
So fun seeing all the stars while walking the strip!
Kind of fun, but its not Hollywood Blvd.
Nice venue, to bad you have to dodge the homless.
Glad we have the walk of stars here in the desert. Very nice tourist attraction and we locals love it too!!!
Hot
Pretty fascinating. Best to go at night tho
Good walk lots of shopping and places to eat.
